As Jade, Troy, and Alicia were explaining the situation in Phiam...

Jay: "(sighing) Looks like they're not here."

Jay grabs his weapons and looks around one last time with no trace of Jake or Jade.

Jay: "So my next stop is Lixa, northwest of here..."

Jay sets off towards Lixa, but little did he know an hour later...

Jake: "(in head) T-These graveyards don't paint a great picture."

Jake and Jason arrive in Nylsio shortly after Jay leaves for Lixa.

Jason: "Nylsio isn't very big. If you want we can do a quick sweep around."

Jake: "Y-Yeah, the longer you leave Jay alone, someone is either dead or requires medical attention."

The two do a quick sweep around town to no avail.

Jason: "(annoyed) Just what I needed, silly happy fun times for everyone!"

Jake: "Well if he isn't here, we should head to the next town... what's the name of the next town again?"

Jason: "(annoyed) Don't make me repeat myself, it's Lixa and the best way to get there is through the Mirror Caverns."

Jake: "(in head) A short fuse... like Jade."

The two retrace their steps and arrive at the inn.

Jake: "I-I'll be in the room."

Jake heads upstairs.

Jason: "He seems less confident than what Jade said."

Next morning...

Jake: "Mt. Mirror is to the northwest."

Jason heads downstairs to find Jake ready.

Jason: "(yawning) You seem ready. Want to head out?"

Jake gives Jason a quick face freeze.

Jake: "Yeah."

Jason: "(annoyed) What the hell?!"

Jake: "(startled) Y-You needed a quick wake up."

Jason: "(annoyed) Let's just go!"

The two awkwardly walk to Mt. Mirror. Meanwhile...

Jay: "Left or right?"

Jay entered the caverns an hour prior and hit a fork in the road.

Jay: "Heads left, tails right."

Jay flips a piece of gold that lands on heads.

Jay: "Left."

Jay heads left as the ceiling caves in. Meanwhile...

Lucifer: "Can't have him turn back."

Drake: "Ayleaus should be near, although we need all of the issues dealt with swiftly."

Meanwhile...

Jay: "This better be a coincidence."

With Jason and Jake...

Jake: "Mirror Caverns..."

The two come up to a large cave.

Jason: "Be careful. Your own reflection will throw you off."

Jake: "Why is Mt. Mirror called Mt. Mirror?"

Jason: "If you want to know, it's because the top of the mountain reflects sunlight like a mirror."

The two walk inside and within a few minutes, they come to a fork in the road.

Jason: "Huh?"

The left path caved in.

Jake: "Looks like right is the only option."

Jason: "C'mon we need to get out of here ASAP."

The two begin to walk down the right path.

Jason: "(in head) I should ask him about why he's fighting."

A half hour later, the two come to a dead end.

Jake: "This isn't good."

The way is blocked by a large wall of stone. They pull a nearby lever to no effect.

Jason: "(remembering) Shit!"

Jake: "(startled) W-What?"

Jason: "We need to have at least one person on each path for progress!"

Jake: "Why?"

Jason: "The Mirror Caverns were once a mine for all types of gemstones and this was a way to prevent slaves from escaping, by making it so at most one could temporarily break free and become recaptured."

Jake: "Do we head back?"

Jason: "(thinking) If we go back to Nylsio, we need a week or two to go around the mountain. For now let's wait and hope someone is on the other side, if not we turn back."

Meanwhile...

Jay: "Impurities are everywhere in these caverns."

Jay has been sidetracked by Impurities for a half hour and comes to a lever nearby a solid wall of stone.

Jay: "(sighing) I can't figure this lever out."

Jay paces back an forth.

Jay: "I've been pulling that switch for a half hour and nothing."

Jay tries the lever one more time.

Jay: "I've got nothing better to d-"

The stone wall opens like a door.

Jay: "(shocked) Now it works!"

Jay rushes through the door while...

Jason: "(shocked) Somebody was on the other side."

Jake: "Let's get moving."

The two step through the door and enter a series of unstable cliff edges and rusty mining gear.

Jason: "Remain calm and follow me."

The two traverse the cliffs and lifts meanwhile...

Jay: "(wobbling) This is very stable."

Jay is climbing up a rocky cliff side.

Jay: "(relieved) There we go."

Jay climbs to the top.

Jay: "Is that?"

Jay spots Jake and another kid cautiously walking on top of rusty, metal platforms.

Drake: "Ayleaus..."

Lucifer: "My question is who is that other child?"

Drake notices a boy with platinum hair.

Drake: "(smirking) A dragon god descendant."

Lucifer: "How are you so sure?"

Drake: "His hair is unnatural to appear in humans here in Drakos."

Lucifer: "You truly astound me with your knowledge and strength."

Drake: "I thank you for the praise."

Back with Jay...

Jay: "(echoing) Jake!"

Jake: "Huh?"

Jay's Voice: "Up here!"

Jake looks up to see Jay on inside of another series of lifts.

Jake: "(echoing) Thank god you're here!"

Jason: "Is he your friend?"

Jake: "Yeah."

Jason: "(echoing) Listen up Jay! We need to use the two pathways to get through here!"

Jay: "(echoing) That explains the door."

The two groups traverse through the rusty gear and corpses of past workers for hours, until the end...

Jason: "Why do you fight Jake?"

Jake: "(calmly) Because I have to."

They open a final door and meet up with Jay.

Jason: "I can tell your not as brave as you make yourself out to be."

Jay: "Hey, just so you know he's afraid of spiders."

Jake: "The thing is, if I didn't fight, no one would be fighting right now. If I wasn't here, I'd be dead."

Jay: "(sighing) Can we just get out of here?"

Jason: "Yeah."

Jay: "I never asked you name or why you're with Jake."

Jason: "It's Jason. Jason Velour."

Jake: "He's also a descendant of the Original One."

Jay: "(smirking) Can't wait to see it in action."

The three arrive at the exit.

Jay: "(in head) I can't figure out a way to remove this god dam poison! He sees and hears anything I do!"

The caverns begin to shake.

Jay: "(in head) I need to think more about it later!"

Jake: "Huh?"

A giant black eye falls from the ceiling.

Jay: "(sighing) One last roadblock."

The eye blocks the exit.

Jason: "(pulling out knife) Just beat it and run. It can't be that difficult."

Jake: "(switching to staff form) Just kick up some stones and we win."

Jay pulls out a pair of nunchucks.

Jay: "Jason, I'll break the stones while you distract that thing!"

Jason swiftly slashes the thing across the eye.

Jason: "(smirking) Sounds simple."

Jason pulls out a spear and jump strikes into the eye's center.

Jay: "(smashing walls) You about ready Jake?!"

Jake: "(focusing) Just a little more!"

Jason sends a few arrows that get lodged inside as the thing shrieks.

Jay: "(covering ears) Dear god that hurts!"

Jake: "Get outta the way!"

Jason dives into the ground as bullet like stones are flung at the beast.

Jay: "Run!"

The eye releases a burst of crimson energy that leaves the interior unstable and eliminates all of the stones.

Jason: "Now we have a time limit!"

Jason slashes the eye with his claws that barely leaves a scratch.

Jay: "I'll see if this leaves a mark!"

Jay slices the eye with his daggers telekinetically.

Jason: "So he can move shit with his mind?"

Jake: "Yeah."

Jay lets a barrage of bullets loose.

Jake: "(switching to sword form) I'll follow up!"

Jay rushes up and let's a variety of punches, ending with a whack with the nunchucks.

Jay: "Mind Break."

Jason: "The eye's defenses have been weakened!"

Jake unveils his wings.

Jake: "My turn."

Jake performs an upward slash with his sword that sends blades of ice at the eye.

Jay: "Don't get caught in the middle."

Jake switches to punching the eye with fire gauntlets.

Jason: "(puzzled) How is he doing this?"

Jake does quick slashes with poisonous daggers.

Jay: "He isn't either human or dragon."

Jake sends the eye in the air with wind in staff form.

Jay: "He's half angel and demon, the faith of Toriph as he says."

Jake wraps it up with a lightning charged arrow and slams the eye back down in whip form.

Jake: "Hell Render!"

Dust begins to settle...

Jake: "(panting) Did I get it?"

The eye is barely phased.

Jay: "(sighing) This is getting annoying."

The eye lets more energy loose that makes the exit even more unstable.

Jason: "I've got this!"

Jason touches the scale on his neck and enters his dragonoid state.

Jay: "That his ability?"

Jason surrounds the eyes in dozens of balls of light.

Jason: "Supernova Burst."

The balls detonate, releasing a MASSIVE explosion that annihilates the eye.

Jason: "(changing back) Let's get out of here!"

Jay: "Excellent plan!"

The three barely jump out of the caverns in time.

Jason: "(excited) That was fucking awesome!!!"

Jake: "(panting) Want to head to the inn?"

Jason: "(excited) Alright! That fine with me! (mumbling) Do they do stuff like this all of the time?"

Jay: "(panting) Also a great plan."

The three begin their walk in Lixa.

Jay: "(in head) I still need to find a way and fast! Jade, Jake, and I are screwed if not!"
