Narrator: "Jay and Jake had finally left Osar and have been traveling to Arut for a few days."

Jay: "How much longer until we hit Arut Jake?"

Jake: "(startled) Another 2 days from what it appears like on the map. ,(in head) I hope I'm reading this right."

Jay: "(sighs) It looks like the moon is going to appear in a bit."

Jay looks at their food supply.

Jay: "And all we have left is the bear meat, but does it look like I know how to cook?"

Jake: "Jay, just set up the tents, I'll handle the cooking."

Jay: "Alright. Another special trait you have?"

Jake: "Just wait and find out."

Narrator: "The two had been living off plants for the days they had been walking. Jay actually had no idea how to cook, which is off for one who lives alone. He was lucky he decided to not put a bullet in Jake's skull."

Jake places some medicinal herbs on top of the meet as it cooked.

Jay: "What the hell are you doing?"

Jake: "Giving the meat some flavor."

Jay: "If you say so."

After the camp was set up, Jay takes a bite out of the meat.

Jay: "Fuck, this is pretty good."

Jake: "You're lucky I know how to cook."

Jay: "Know how? C'mon you know you are better than you give yourself credit for."

Jake: "You know, very few people had actually had my cooking. (in head) I'll save Reith everyone."

Jay: "Why? Surely you had some friends growing up."

Jake: "(sheds a tear) I actually didn't."

Jay: "Why? You seem like a likable person."

Jake pauses for a moment.

Jake: "This is why."

Shows Jay his Holyite arm.

Jay: "Why those? That just look like armor."

Jake: "Just give me a sec...."

Jake takes of the Holyite on his left arm, unveiling a blood red, decayed, pencil like arm.

Jay: "(gags) That's is gross! What the hell happened?!"

Jake puts it back on, feeling pain as he does so.

Jake: "Born like that."

Jay: "Born like that?! They look like they were a victim of one of my bounties!"

Jake: "I guess even you have limits."

Jay: "It's not that! I've never seen anything like it!" 

Jake: "Actually, my armor replaces the nerves."

Jay: "I am going to bed."

Jake: "Early start?"

Jay: "That and I don't want to talk about that."

Jake: "i really didn't want to continue either."

The two awake the next morning and they already packed everything.

Jay: "Let's go! If we hurry will reach Arut by morning tomorrow!"

Jake: "Let's go then."

The two walk until they hear something in a nearby tree.

Jay inspects the tree closer.

Jay: "What is up there?"

 A few strange black humanoid creatures jump down, trying to get Jay's head.

Jay: "The hell are these things?!"

Jake: "Nero sent some here?!"

Jay: "Who the hell is Nero, and you've seen these things before?"

Jake: "(nervously) F-forget the Nero part. Anyways, these are Impurities, souls bound to here from something like guilt. They kill anyone in their path."

Jake quickly decapitates all of them.

Jake: "And the only way to free them, is to kill them."

Jay: "C'mon man, you didn't save any for me."

Jake: "Sorry."

Jay: "Well I know I can kill those things without restraint right?"

Jake: "Yes. (in head) If Nero sent some here...... I should be careful."

The two continue to Arut and by sundown....

Jake: "Looks like my math was wrong. We're here. (in head) Looks like my math was off in a good way."

Jay: "Finally I can sleep in a bed."

Jake: "Then let's hurry up and get into town!"

Narrator: "The two rush into town, noticing how Arut was more well known for its variety of pets, and shadier thugs."

Jay: "This place is way different than Osar."

Jake: "Yep. (in head) Little does he know I'm still trying to grasp the concept of bullets and guns even being around one doesn't help. They didn't have anything like those in Toriph."

Jay: "There is the inn."

Jake: "You know it."

The two pay for a two person room and quickly get into bed.

Jay: "Thank god I can sleep on a soft bed."

Jake: "We will search tomorrow then?"

Jay: "Yeah, sure, whatever. (in head) Why is he taking this search a little too seriously?"
