Overworked

"Give it another glance around and then bring it back."

"What about the monthly budget? It's still messed up."

"I'll take a look at it with you and determine what went wrong."

"Wait the clubs are complaining again."

"The students are complaining about the cafeteria food again."

"The girls are complaining about the mirror in the bathroom again."

"The third years have a problem with their graduation theme."

"Mr. President!"

"Mr. President!"

"Kishibe-kun!"

Kishibe looked at the crowd swarmed around him trying to listen to all the complaints being thrown at him. It's not usually this hectic but with no Vice President a lot of extra work managed to fall on him.

Being Student Body President has its perks but paired with his soccer club duties and school work Kishibe felt overworked and under appreciated. He sighed and ran a hand through his long hair trying to come up with the best solution for the problem he was currently in.

"Alright everyone! Listen up please! I know there's a lot of work backed up and there's also a lot of issues to address but if you can write them all down and submit them before the end of the day I promise I'll look through them. Just please stop all the yelling."

The council members stared at him for a second before going into a bigger frenzy.

"We don't have time to do this!"

"Be more practical man!"

"Just fix the damn thing already!"

Kishibe frowned and picked up the glass bowl they usually put candy in. He grimaced at the thought in his mind but cleared it away and threw the bowl onto the ground as hard as he could. The sound of glass shattering seemed to calm the riled up students as they looked towards the sound.

"As I just said. Any and all inquiries, complaints and requests are to be submitted formally. Anything not on my desk in writing by the end of the day will be ignored. Do I make myself clear?" Kishibe glared at his council members one by one.

"Yes sir!" The group dispersed to their own areas of begging drafting up their concerns.

Kishibe sighed and fell into his chair, rubbing his forehead to alleviate the headache growing in it. A few minutes passed and slowly the documents made it to his desk one by one. After the last paper fell on his desk he dismissed the council members for the day so he could have some peace to work on the school's problems by himself.

"Knock knock. I brought water and snacks."

Kishibe sighed and dropped his head on the desk. Maybe if he played dead long enough then the person would change their mind and leave him be.

"Rude. You could at least pretend to be happy to see me." A packet of gummy bears hit his head and Kishibe finally looked at the person who came to pay him a visit.

"I'm always happy to see you. Just not right this moment. I have a lot of work to do and I don't really need you distracting me right now."

"Me? Distract you? The nerve. I'm an innocent girl who came to drop off some items I managed to find in the darkest corners of my book bag."

"See you're distracting me now Bella. I love you but I have a lot of work to finish. Did you need something important?" Kishibe opened the gummy bears and began to eat them.

"No not really. I was lonely so I decided to keep you company. I promise I'll sit down quietly and behave myself." Bella left the water bottle in front of him and raised an eyebrow when she got a good look at his face. "Are you sure you're alright?"

Kishibe knocked her hand away from his face before it got too close to him. "I'm fine Bella. Just sit down and let me finish this. We can get ice cream on the way home."

Bella glances at him wearily but complied nonetheless. "If you say so Mr. President."

A few hours passed by and Kishibe managed to get more than two thirds of the work done. If he was lucky maybe he could have everything done in the next half hour so he could go home and rest. After the first hour passed his headache got worse and spread to his eyes. After the second hour his head felt fuzzy and he couldn't seem to get enough water. Hopefully he was just tired and needed a nap.

"You sure you're ok Taiga? You look really flushed." Bella approaches his desk again.

"Again Bella I'm fine. I'm gonna refill this bottle. Watch the room while I'm gone please." He got up to take a short walk to the water fountain but found his legs gave out on him instead.

"Taiga?!" Bella barely managed to catch his head during his fall and ended up with him falling on top of her. "Goodness Taiga you're burning up. You're definitely not alright."

"I'm fine. I just need some water." Kishibe struggled to get up again. "Let me go woman."

"I'm not holding you. You're too weak to stand on your own. I'm calling your mom. When was the last time you slept?" Bella rubbed his head gently and dialed the familiar number.

Kishibe groaned and curled up on top of her fully succumbing to his fever. "Sorry."

"Don't apologize. Just rest."

Kishibe nodded his head and buried his face in her neck. "You're so cool."

FOUR DAYS LATER

"Alright everybody let's hear a round of applause for our new Vice President."

Cheers went around the room and the new appointed council member tried to get away from the crowd gathering around her.

"Um. Thanks. I just hope I can live up to everyone's expectations."

"Nonsense. The President will listen to you and what happened four days ago won't happen again. Isn't that right Kishibe-kun?"

Kishibe blushed and turned away from his council, "Whatever. Just don't get out of line with my Vice President or you'll all be wishing Tobidia was still here."

"Don't make such horrible threats Taiga. After all where would you be without me?" Bella giggled and kissed his cheek.

The council members laughed when their president blushed even harder.

"No doing that around my council. It makes me look less manly." Kishibe complained.

"Sure. When you choose not to pass out on me anymore I'll stop treating you like my princess that needs rescuing."

"Whatever Bella. Welcome to the team."

"Glad to be here sir."
