"Come on man. Grow some balls. This is getting annoying."

"Can you just leave us alone please?"

"He's right. It is getting annoying. Just make things official already. You like her and she clearly likes you so just ask her out. The whole school is waiting."

"That's an understatement. And I want to wait until she's ready for that level. For now I'm satisfied with where we are."

"You say that but we all know that's bullshit. There's about three maybe four other guys in this school that would ask her out but you scare them away so you get your chance but you chicken out each time. Just face it. You don't have the balls to tell her anything. Why not leave her be and give someone else a chance?"

"No way in hell is that happening. Fine since it's such a big problem I'll ask her out. Just make sure you guys don't get involved."

"Yes sir!"

"You need to be more careful Ms. Lidashi. That fall could've been worst."

Bella nodded as she left the nurse's office, looking at the bandaid on her arm.

"Hey Bells."

Bella looked up to find the best part of Kidokawa Seishuu walking to her.

"Hi. I have a new battle wound." Bella held up her arm with the bandaid on it waiting for her usual treatment.

"I'll deal with that later. For now there's something important we need to discuss." Kishibe grabbed both of her hands and took a deep breath.

"The last time we were in this situation someone died. Did somebody die again? Please say no." Bella pleaded.

"Nobody died. I just need to tell you something." Kishibe chuckled a little at her behavior. "Bella I-"

At that moment the bell rang signaling the beginning of class.

"Actually hold that thought Taiga. If I'm late for this class again I'll get detention. We'll talk after school!" Bella called back as she ran to make it to her next class.

Kishibe sighed as he watched her run away. He built up the confidence to do this in the morning when there wouldn't be many people around now he'd have the pleasure of having a crowd watch his pathetic display. With a heavy mind he made his way to his first class.

After School

Kishibe stood in the hallway waiting for Bella to appear from her class. When he finally found the short girl he pulled her towards him before he lost her in the sea of people.

"I got another battle wound. I managed to trip on my way to class this morning and skid my knee. You have another boo boo to attend to." Bella poked his nose and giggled when he closed his eyes.

"What am I gonna do with you? You're so clumsy you'd probably lose yourself in a big crowd." Kishibe smiled and pet her head.

"I would not. You're so mean." Bella pouted.

"I know. I'm also the worst person ever placed on this earth. And I'm also the spawn of Satan too right? Did I get them all or did I miss one?" Kishibe smirked.

"You forgot annoying." Bella said.

"Right. How could I forget?" Kishibe laughed. "But back to this morning I do have something I need to tell you."

"Out with it then. I'm not getting any taller here." Bella looked up slightly and grew confused when she saw her friend's ears turn red.

"Well we've known each other for a long while now and I don't think we can get any closer than we are now honestly. So I just thought you should know that I really care about you." Kishibe looked away for a second then looked back at Bella.

"Well of course you care for me. We're friends. I care for you too." Bella smiled warmly.

Kishibe blinked confused as he registered what he just heard. "No Bella it's more than that I really care about you. Really really really care about you."

"I know that Taiga and I'm telling you I care about you too. We wouldn't be friends if I didn't." Bella tilted her head in confusion at the strange behavior.

"For the love of-I'm in love with you Bella! I always have and I feel like I always will be! But you're so oblivious it hurts my head sometimes. Listen to what I'm saying carefully. Bella Faith Lidashi I have loved you since Jr. High and I love you now even as we prepare to graduate high school and nothing is going to change that. And I know that you love me as well so will you please be my girlfriend?" Kishibe sighed a little exhausted after pouring out his feelings then smiled at the look on Bella's face.

"If you knew then why make me wait so long?" Bella looked down to hide her extremely red cheeks.

"Because I wanted to make sure you were ready for our relationship first. When you were followed by that man and you called me instead of your mom I knew it was time. The team convinced me to do it today and now here we are." Kishibe smiled warmly at her.

"Taiga I-" Bella stumbled over her words a bit and looked to him for guidance.

"You don't have to say anything. I understand completely."

Bella smiled a little then pulled him down to her height. "I'm sure we watched enough Disney movies to know this is where you kiss me."

Kishibe smirked and closed the small gap between them. As the new couple shared their small moment, people in the hallway began to cheer for them happy that they were finally together.

As they pulled away Bella's blush worsened and steam came out of her head. "Oh my gosh we just did that in front of everybody. I don't even care, I have a boyfriend now! Yes!"

Kishibe laughed at her excitement and held her hand as they made their way out of the school.

"So. Who's telling our parents?"
