Bella Baggins woke up to the sound of her older brother's insatiable loud remarks, but she ignored him in favour of turning around and returning to her blissful sleep something that she would have usually been able to do had it not been for her older brother barging into her room, this led to the youngest of the Baggins to turn to the intruder in her room and glare sleepily.
"What on earth are you doing?" she questioned, sleep evident in her tone, a yawn breaking through her lips the second she finished talking, "Get up, we're leaving." Bilbo ordered, completely ignoring her words, "Leaving?" the youngest echoed, pushing herself onto her elbows, sleep quickly leaving her body as she frowned at her older brother, "Leaving to where?"
"Just get up." Bilbo ordered, throwing onto her bed a pair of his old pants along with the suspenders that came with them, Bella jumped out of her comfortable and warm bed and quickly changed into the clothes her brother gave her.
Her blue eyes locking on her corset she had taken off in order to put on the pants and skirt and even though she had no idea why her brother wanted her dressed in pants she knew that a corset with pants would not work, leading her to shuffle to her wardrobe and pulling from inside a linen wrap and wrapping it around her chest securing it tightly before she pulled the beige shirt over her shoulder and quickly buttoned it up, adjusting the suspenders before walking out of the room.
"Bilbo?" she tentatively called out, jumping in fright when her brother walked through the door that led to the office, "I do hope you're wearing a wrap. Grab your other wraps, all of them, they might be needed." he told her giving her a backpack that they usually wore when they would have picnics away from home. This did nothing to soothe her confusion, but still, she did as she was told, she was for all the intents and purposes the youngest of the two and that often meant that she had to do what he told her, even as vague as it was.
Inside the backpack were scrolls, books, both for reading and for drawing, and pencils along with the cover book that held a of her completed drawings and some other clothes and items she might need.
Walking out of her room once more, Bella walked to their living room, where she found her brother scribbling something down making her question "Bilbo what in Middle Earth is wrong with you?" her brother turned his head to her with slight acknowledgment before he set the quill down. "I've decided that we shall join Thorin and his friends." he finally explained to her, not missing the way anger flashed through her face or the way her jaw clenched, "We're Baggins we do not go out on adventures." she told him.
"This one we are, Bella." Bilbo counters, "And we are both going." his tone made it clear that she wasn't going to get out of this situation, sighing deeply the youngest of the siblings set her backpack on the sofa as her brother picked up the quill once more and waved it her, a silent order for her to sign her name on the contract, her fingers quickly grabbed the quill and with one last nasty glare at her older brother she signed her name.
