Alohomora
Warning: this chapter includes the following: Fighting, PG13 content and swearing. Read at your own risk!
By the way, I can't stand third person but I'll keep the past chapters the same as they are. From now on I'll only switch between Hermione and Draco but in first person. I'm sorry if you liked third person :(
(Draco's POV)
As I near Hermione, her pace quickens as if she's being hunted. "Hermione!" I call out to her, picking up speed. "Wait up."
I reach her in time to grab her shoulder and spin her around. She instantly falls to the ground, crying, holding her arms above her head. "Please, Ron, stop!"
A pang hits my heart as she pleads to me. "It's Draco, Hermione. I'm not going to hurt you. Just stand up, okay?" I hold her sides to pick her up, but she keep her arms in place, and her head down. I lift up her chin, removing her hands from her face. Tears are falling, and cuts are bleeding down her face. "Let's get you to the bathroom, okay?"
She says nothing as I lead her to the girls bathroom, making sure no one's in here, except for moaning Myrtle. I take off her cloak, revealing more tiny cuts up and down her body. I flinch in pain, even though they're not on me. I clean them enough to stop them from bleeding, returning her cloak to how it was before.
She turns around, barely able to look me in the eyes. "Why are you doing this, Malfoy?" My name has changed for her again, but I simply hug her, careful not to make her cry out in pain.
"You can't be with him, Hermione." I say, releasing her. "He's hurting you, isn't he?" I ask her, walking her to her room.
She glances at me, but looks away quickly. "It's my fault, Draco, it's my punishments."
I cringe at the word. "Punishment for what? What could you possibly do to deserve this?" Her eyes meet with mine as we stand in front of her door. She called me Draco again.
"I have to go, please. If he finds out you-" I interrupt her.
"Don't worry about him, Hermione. I won't let him hurt you." She stares at me, as if she's contemplating life. As soon as I see her lean in, I freeze up, unsure of what to do. I almost give in but something stops me from continuing. I back away, telling her to be careful and to come to me if she needs me. I'll be watching her, to make sure she's okay.
She frowns, but recovers, stepping into her room, closing it behind her, leaving me to question life also. The only logical explanation is that no girl should ever be abused. I want our banterings to come back. I want my Hermione back.
Wait . . . My?

(Hermione's POV)
I almost kissed Draco . . . I mean, Malfoy . . . Or . . . He knows. He knows about Ron. But Ron loves me, he can't take him away from me. If Ron doesn't punish me, I'll never learn. I need to stay away from Draco, but I'm not sure how, concidering I almost snogged him. I change into new clothes, switching cloaks, and siting down on my bed, taking out a book. I haven't read in months.
I barely finish the first chapter before hearing smashing and yelling from somewhere in the school. I jump up immediately, running to the dining hall, almost tripping on thin air.
As I near the room, Draco and Ron come into view, seeing them brawling it out. Blood is everywhere and I scream. Running towards them both, I jump onto Draco's back, causing him to slip off Ron. I notice Harry grabbing Ron, holding him back, as I lay underneath Draco Malfoy.
By breath hitches in my throat, noticing how close we are. I motion for him to get up before Ron kills him. He stands up, holding a hand out for me to take. I accept it, backing up from the scene. I notice Ron glaring at me, and eyeballing me to follow him. He roughly pushes out of Harry's grip, walking out of the room. I attempt to follow him but two large hands hold back my shoulders. Faint whisphers are heard in my ear, "Don't go, I won't let you get hurt again."
My body shivers at his deep voice as I turn around to face him. He really does want to protect me. I look over at Harry, who is shakily waiting for an explanation. I reassure him that I'll tell both him and Ginny soon. For now, Draco is leading me to Professor McGonagall's office. As we enter, I begin to shake in fear for no reason. I've never been in trouble before, even though I'm not in any trouble.
I'm told to explain everything to our headmistress, and I do, watching Malfoy almost cry the whole time. He squeezes my hand in reassurance, kissing it once in a while, causing my heart to flutter. After I finish, McGonagall calls to Azkaban to send someone to place Ron in jail for six months to a year.
I break down in tears, knowing it's my fault and that he won't last there alone. I need to go break him out, once he arrives. But getting past Malfoy will be harder than anything . . .
