Nobody is safe

Awww... I love the smell of blood in the night.
I pinpointed my stare on the corpse of my latest victim. She was a pretty young girl who made the wrong decisions. Her wavy black hair matched the darkness of the lake I made her drown herself in. It was her own fault that she was here. She wore a shiny sequin top that showed too much and jeans that were too tight complimented by four inch heels that made wobble even more than she already did. That night the girl had probably went to a party or to a club.
She was the one who sipped from the cup of alcoholic poison. She was the one who decided to put her key in the ignition. She was the one who nearly crashed her car into mine and for that she had to pay. She had signed her own death sentence.
I had been going home, just returning from a late night grocery run. When suddenly a car speed right from behind me going at least twenty over the speed limit. Fury pumped from my heart into my veins and I gripped the steering wheel with white hot anger. She wasn't going to get away with this.
When I first learned my power it is was extremely hard to activate it. I soon found out it required a great deal of emotion and focus. I had never really been good at any emotions expect anger. So that's what I always used as fuel. I used my anger at that moment to push my way into the depths of her mind, making her own free will dissipate. I was becoming her. It's also quite difficult to control two minds at once especially while driving. But in the end it was worth it, one less indifferent person off the road. Forever.
I remember pulling both cars over to a isolated road. I jumped out of my car and she did the same. With the full moon shining down on us I finally got a good look at her. She looked about my age, so about college age and skyscraper of makeup on her face. Her eyes now had a blank, glossy look to them, no emotion whatsoever. I was he
her now. She would never be herself again. The girl was stumbling still as if she was drunk confirming what I thought, she was indeed drunk.
This is for you Julie, I thought, all for you.
That would show her. She would have to pay the ultimate price for her decisions.
Using my mind I led her through the forest to lake I knew was hidden within the trees. Her and me stepped to the edge the lake together. I looked her over one last time. This would be her last night alive, her last party, her last breath.
"Down" I commanded sternly.
She slowly got down her knees. I always carry a knife with me, whether it be for protection or situations like these. Slide my knife out of my back pocket and placed it the on the back of her neck. With three quick slashes I sliced through her skin created the pattern of a claw mark, now she will be forever marked so they would know who did this. There was no reaction, no scream for help, nothing but a blank stare at the water before her.
"Put your head in the water"
She lowered her head down into the water. Her body convulsed as the water seeped into her lungs but she didn't dare take her head out. I watched with no emotion as her body finally stilled.
I never planned to kill that night but no one gets past me.
