It has three weeks to our marriage. All the post marriage rituals  were done successfully. I had still not joined back at my job, it was kind of boring because I had nothing to do. My in laws had to go to India for some emergency. My sister in law was married so she went back to her home. Leaving me and my husband alone!
I had seen very little of him these past days, he said he had some important things to finish at work. I would wait for him, make food for both of us, fix the house and that's all. 

So one day I decided to visit my friends :)

I called Sameer but he didn't pick up the phone so I left a message for him at his office.
I called my friends- Sunaina, Thomas, Raj, Priya, and Sandy. Luckily they were all free so we decided to meet at a restaurant in Downtown, there was a new place and so we thought let's check it out.
I decided to wear a nice flowing dress (look at the picture). My jewellery consisted of my mangalsutra, diamond studs and my wedding bangles. I put little bit of red vermilion on my hair partitioning and left my house.

Meeting all my friends was so much fun. They kept teasing me about how I look with all the bangles and vermilion, all signs showing that I am a married woman now. We all had lunch and then walked on the streets, looking at shops one by one. The time flew by very fast and I didn't even notice. I checked my phone and realized that it was already 8 in the evening and saw that I had so many missed calls from Sameer. 

I called him back to tell him that I was on my way home. He sounded very different on the phone. I quickly reached home to find Sameer pacing in the living room. He looked agitated. I touched his shoulder and he turned. What he did next was completely unexpected, he embraced me in a choking hug. He hugged me, my feet were literally off the ground. He was so tall and now he had just picked me up, his face buried in the crook of my neck.

I could feel his warm breadth on my neck, it gave me shivers. I tried to pull apart after a few minutes but he won't let me. He just pulled back his face, still holding me with his hands around my waist.

"Did you know how much worried I was? How could you do this? no message, no call.? I was worried sick and you were...?! wait.. where were you? Who were you with or were you alone? what were you doing?  don't ever do this to me again,understand?!" he kept asking me all these questions.

As soon as I was going to speak, he asked "why are you not saying anything? whats wrong? are u fine? what happened? say something na!!"

"Uffo, will let me speak!" I shouted at him

At this he completely let go of me and just stared at me with an angry look. "I was with my friends Sameer, we had gone out for lunch. I called you but you didn't pick up so I left a message at your office with that girl..whats her name?..your uni friend.. oh Maithali, right. She told me that she would inform you"

"she didn't say anything to me, we even had lunch together, she didn't even mention you. She might have forgotten, I guess." huh? somehow I wasn't convinced that she had forgotten! never mind, I just let it be.

We made some dinner and sat down to watch a movie. We were sitting on the couch and then felt a hand around my shoulders. Sameer had wrapped his arm around my shoulders, thats when I realised that we were sitting very close to each. He didn't even seem to notice this as he was watching the movie and laughing.After a few minutes, he suddenly pulled me towards him, his face still watching the tv. I felt my head land on his shoulder. 

I had always dreamed about what it would be like to cuddle with my hubby, and now here was my chance so i took it. I snuggled closer to him and placed my hand on his chest and head on his shoulder moved closer to the crook of his neck. I started watching the movie again. 

This didn't go unnoticed by him as he tightened his arm around my waist and pulled me harder on his chest. He than lifted my chin,and smiled at me. I smiled back. For a moment I felt that he was going to kiss me like that first night but he didn't. He just went back to the screen. We lay there on the couch, in each others arms and watching the movie. I felt so complete in his arms. I silently prayed to god and thanked him for giving me someone like Sameer. :D
