Jake woke with a jolt. He had another nightmare. It was about that day again.

He slowly sat up and stretched the stiffness out of his limbs. The sky was still dark but it was lightening up.

"Are you there?" He called into the darkness. A white glow filled the darkness and jake smiled. Slowly fading in was Safire, Although she was a ghost.

She blinked and smiled back, "Hello Jake." She said with an angelic tone. Then she sat, her pointed tail wrapping around her paws. "How did you sleep?" Her head tilting as she said it.

Jake's head was lowered, "Okay, I guess." His head didn't move but his eyes lifted to Safire's, "It was about that night again. How long ago was that anyways?."

"Oh, um....." She paused, thinking, "A couple months?" Her head turned away, "How's hunting?" She said trying to change the subject.

His eyes fell to the floor again, "It's ok...."

Jake got up and walked out slowly, keeping his head down. when he made it outside he stretched his massive wings. then he turned around and smiled at Safire, "I'm gunna take a quick flight to stretch my wings. I'll be back!" He smirked . Then in one swift movement he took off.
