Tip 8: Writing Location

Most authors carry a notebook. This is an amazing idea, and I fully suggest doing so. Why? Because you could get the best idea ever, and not have anything to write it down on, and lose the idea forever. No matter where you are, inspiration could strike.
Another thing to think about as an aspiring author is location. Where do you normally write? It could be in your office, at work, your room. Any where. But those locations probably have distractions. Pets, cars outside. Anything could distract you from writing. So, I urge you to eliminate places that distract you. Find a serene place to write. Nature is a great place to write because of its serenity and inspiring qualities.
If you don't have access to a natural spot, don't be discouraged. Because wherever you can find peace, you can write Correlate your schedule and location to make the most out of your writing time. In a peaceful location, you'll be able to write more than in a place with any distraction.
You may think that you can work through distractions, but without realizing it you actually tune more into the distraction than you write. Keep this in mind while you write.
