CHAPTER 10 ──
BUMBLEBEE
┗━━━━✦❘༻༺❘✦━━━━┛

━━━━━ STEPHANIE HAD SINCE returned home to see her brother go off to college. For two years she spent her time working on the Autobots to fix any repairs that they had received on missions. All while doing that she was leading a team with Lennox and Epps.

After what had happened she didn't want to let it go and retire, even though she had promised her parents. The NEST team worked together with the Autobots, tracking down what remained of the Decpticon's.

When she wasn't fixing things, or hunting down Decepticons she was with Prime and Ratchet forming a closer bond with the two Autobots. Even though she loved her family more than anything she still lied to them, deep down she knew what she was doing was the right thing.

Her mother never loved the idea that Stephanie wanted to be in the army, but she knew that had always been Stephanie's dream since she was a kid. The blonde looked around the house as most of Sam's things had been packed up for college.

"Come on, let's go! All hands on deck! Frankie, Mojo, out! Come on, kiddos, we're on a schedule." Stephanie's father called out to the two.

She smiled at her father's comment, turning around to look at him, as she picked up one of the boxes following behind him and Sam.

"Slow down, dad. Why are you in such a hurry to get rid of me? Did you rent the room out?" Sam asked him, holding the bag over his shoulder.

"No, I got other ideas for your room and it rhymes with "home theater." He replied with a chuckle.

"Dad, that doesn't even rhyme." Stephanie scoffed, placing the box in the trunk.

Once finished she turned around and walked back into the house. The two walked into the room, Stephanie looked to see her mother holding onto Sam tightly with tear stained cheeks.

"You see this, dad? This is how you're supposed to react when the fruit of your loins goes out into the cruel world to fend for himself, okay?" Sam muffled looking at his father.

"Yeah, my heart bleeds for you, pal. College, bummer!" He replied, turning towards the boxes.

"Don't worry, Sammy. I got the same treatment from dad... as well as mom, when I was shipping out to go to boot camp." Stephanie said, sending her baby brother a soft smile.

Stephanie turned away from them walking towards another box. Lifting it up, she turned around to witness her father make a sexual context towards their mother.

"Dad." The siblings spoke in unison, disgusted faces resting on their faces.

"I love it when you call me "young lady," you dirty old man." Judy said, looking back at Ron.

"You ain't seen nothing yet." He replied to her.

"Dad." Stephanie called out as Sam mumbled.

"What?" He asked the two, turning slightly to look back at them.

"That's so gross. I hope my future kids don't ever have to see this interaction." Stephanie announced to her parents.

The blonde exited out of the house, walking over to the car and placing the box inside. She turned, placing her hands on her back as Sam and her father came out of the house walking over to them.

She walked away from the car, heading to the center of the front yard. She looked around taking in the scenic view. The cries of her brother filled her ears, turning towards the house she ran heading past the front door.

Running over to her purse she opened it and grabbed her gun, unintentionally pulling her badge out. Not having enough time to grab it and place it back in her back she ran up the steps heading down the hall towards Sam's room.

She busted into the room holding her gun in both her hands. Sam lifted his hands in the air as he looked towards her shock covering his face.

"Why do you have a gun?" Sam asked as he grabbed a water bottle to pour the water on the smoke. Stephanie closed the door so their parents couldn't hear their conversation.

"Because I do. What did you do to the floor?" Stephanie asked him.

She really was trying to avoid the reason why she had a gun. Part of it was because her job always required her to have access to a gun. While the other part knew that deep down Megatron would return, and even though the hand gun wouldn't do much damage she felt safe with it.

"I found a shard of the AllSpark." Sam replied, throwing the bottle in the trash, she moved away from the door walking over to the hole in the floor. Kneeling down she examined the hole in the floor that had been created by the shard.

"Right, okay." Stephanie said as Sam walked towards the door.

Sam went to open the door, and as he did he fell down to the floor, screaming loudly. Stephanie turned slightly on her heels watching as miniature Decpticon's attacked Sam, a few of them separating from each other and running over to Stephanie.

"Shoot them!" Sam shouted looking over at his sister as he scooted back on the floor. Stephanie stood up from the ground kicking one of them away from her.

"Are you crazy? We're inside. I'm not gonna shoot my gun." She yelled at him, running towards her brother.

"Then why did you bring it with you?" Sam asked her, pushing himself off the floor.

Stephanie stood in front of her brother moving her foot back she kicked another Decepticon watching it roll down the hallway.

"Come on, get out of here." Stephanie shouted, pushing her brother towards the window.

She followed after him jumping out the window as Sam continued to scream. She ducked down avoiding the bullets.

"What is all that racket?" She heard their father ask, as he came around the corner.

Stephanie stood up as Sam fell off the edge of the beam landing on his legs. Stephanie moved towards the edge, grabbing a hold of the beam and she flipped herself off of it landing on her feet perfectly.

She watched as her father dropped everything, and ran away from the house. Soon enough he dropped himself to the ground, his face hitting the grass. If it wasn't a serious moment the blonde would have laughed.

Tightening her grip on her gun she ran after her brother and father as they shielded themselves behind the bird fountain. Lowering herself on the ground she rolled in front of them, aiming her gun up at the Decepticons.

"Bumblebee!"

The blonde lowered herself as Bumblebee came out of the garage transforming. She watched as the yellow Autobot began shooting at the Decepticons, lifting herself from the ground she ran over to Bumblebee.

"Bee, give me a hand!"

Both Sam and Ron watched as Stephanie jumped onto Bee's hand, turning around on her knees and shooting at the robots that filed out onto the yard. She managed to get a few shots out, once finished she jumped down onto the ground rolling on the grass. Standing up she ran towards a Decepticon kicking it in the air for Bee to shoot.

The blonde breathed heavily looking at the broken pieces of wood that had been blown up by Bee when he shot Sam's room. Her eyes landed onto her mother who came out of the house running with a Decepticon on her face, the three watched as she hit a flower pot falling to the ground.

"911." Ron shouted, running over to his wife.

"Bumblebee!"

Stephanie ran away from Sam and Bee heading over to check and make sure her mother was okay.

"What the freak just happened?" Judy asked, looking at her husband and daughter.

"Bee, go now!" Stephanie shouted, as her mother looked around at the backyard as well as the house. She watched as the yellow car climbed back into the garage.

The blonde walked back into the house as her parents ran out the front with the dogs. She ran over to her bag grabbing her holster and shoving her gun in it. She then proceeded to wrap it around her waist, once finished she picked her badge off the floor.

Opening it she looked down at the picture that had been taken when NEST was set up. She was in a darker uniform but she liked it, she liked the uniform. Eventually she would come clean with her parents and brother but for now she would have to keep it a secret. Closing the badge she walked out of the house to catch up with her parents.
