Anna's POV

Mate.

The person, for whom I have been waiting for my whole life, since I have known what that means.

The person, for whom I am born for.

The person who is my other half.

The person whom I have dreamed about every day, is standing in front of me.

Soon he stood, lifting the wait, he put on me. I observed him. He is a big wolf. I have never seen such a big wolf. He is so... so huge. His dark black fur shining in the moon light. He is so beautiful. His eyes are dark green. His presence is intimidating. Power oozes from him.He moved his huge wolf head, motioning me to stand. I stood p on my four legs.

Without another word, he shook his body and shifted into human form. I took my time to admire his body. I can't see his face clearly, cause it's too dark and the shadows of tree's stems fell on him due to full moon light. He has a six pack. His skin is tanned. He is so tall and has a muscular body. Even with my wolf height I am an inch or two shorter than him.

I didn't go down further his stomach, not wanting to look at his private parts. I blushed and looked away, that I am caught looking at my mate, who stood stark naked in front of me. I am so happy that he can't see my red face, even though I didn't look at his... that part. I looked up at him again, but still can't see his face. I just want to have a glimpse of his face and his human eyes.

"Shift!", his deep, sexy voice brought me out of my thoughts, which send chills all over my wolf body and my wolf purred at him voice.

I soon shifted and stood naked in front of him. Soon I realized that I am naked and tried to cover my women parts with my hands. I put my long hair that reaches my wait front, so that, it may cover my upper body parts partially.

I slowly peaked at him, through my eyelashes, only to not see him there.

Where is he? Did he not like what he saw? Did he think I am waste? Did he think I am disgusting? God, is he going to reject me? No! No... no. Please no!

Before I can think any further, I heard leaves crunching and saw him standing there with a pair of shorts and a white piece of cloth in his hand. He extended his hand which is having white cloth in it and his head is turned other side.

That's it! I get it! He doesn't like me! He is ashamed of me!

I snatched the white cloth from him and went behind a tree to put it on. It's just a white plus size t-shirt that ended, just below my butt. It's sleeves are long that reached my elbows. I came out after I put it and a tear fell from my eye, which I rubbed away as soon as it fell, that he didn't see it.

He turned around to see me, as I came out. Now I can see his face clearly. I have never seen such beauty in my life. He has a strong sharp jaw. His hair is not too big or too small, just perfectly cut. He has light green eyes, which were dark when he was in his wolf form. His nose is perfect, as if someone shaped it.

He took a few steps towards me and is standing in front of me. I looked into his eyes and saw him looking at my face. He has a look of wonder

As if he saw some miracle.

As if he saw something unbelievable.

As if he is seeing a creature that never existed or will never exist.

He slowly raised his hand and brought it to my cheek, but didn't touch it. He brought it close again, but looked at me like I may disappear once he touches me. I looked at him with confusion in my eyes. He finally put his hand on my cheek slowly, testing as if I am real or not. First his fingers touched my skin and that is enough for the tingles and sparks to run all over my body.

His full palm is on my skin and I closed my eyes, trying to savour the moment and the feel, placing my hand on his, that is now resting on my face. This is what for I have been waiting all my life.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw amazement in his eyes.

"Mate!", he whispered slowly and his breathe fanned my face as he said that.

Suddenly he went away and put his hand on his forehead and another on his waist, in a manly way. He turned around, showing his back to me. Then he turned back and looked at me like something happened that he didn't expect to happen.

I gave him a confused look. What happened? Why is he behaving like this?

He pulled me close to him. Tingled ran all over every where he touch. A feeling of comfort and warmth wrapped around me as he pulled me in his arms. I put my hands on his chest.

"Mate!", he whispered again, looking into my eyes. He has a smile on his face. He looked so beautiful with that smile. Then after a few seconds it disappeared.

I slid my hands around his neck as he leaned in. He put his head in my neck and breathed in my scent, as I did the same and breathing in his scent of rain with mint.

"Mate! Mate is here. Mate is with me. I have a mate", he said still inhaling my scent.

He pulled away and looked at me.

"What's your name?", he asked caressing my cheek with his right hand, as the other is around my waist, still holding me close to him.

"Anna", I replied shyly and looked down. It's when I realized that our bodies are so close that my chest area is clearly pressed to his rock hard chest and my nipples are so hard. I blushed red.

"Anna", he said to himself, as if testing it. It is perfect rolling against his tongue.

It's like I have a name only for him to call me with it.

"You are so beautiful Anna, so beautiful", he said and kissed my forehead.

"Really?! I thought, you didn't like me when you saw me naked after I shifted", I said looking down.

"What no! I didn't look at you when you are naked. I have respect for you, that I don't want to look at your body without your permission. But you are so beautiful Anna", he said caressing my cheek.

"Thank you. You are sexy too", I said and I wanted the ground to open in that moment to swallow me. I can't keep my mouth shut, can I? Me and my big mouth! I looked at him and saw the corner of his lips twitch into smile, but soon disappeared.

Before I knew it, his lips are on mine. Instantly my fingers ran thought his hair, pulling him even more closer. He nibbled my lower lip asking my permission. I gladly accepted and he plunged his tongue inside my mouth, like a wild lion. His hands went down to my waist and then to my butt.

Things got heated and he pushed me against a tree, gently, not too hard for me to get hurt. He deepend the kiss. I kept pulling on his hair foe more and more. My wolf is howling in happiness. His hands went inside my shirt and explored my bare back. He pulled away from my mouth and went kissing my neck, down my shoulder. He nibbled on my neck, leaving a hickey.

Suddenly he pulled away, like some force shoved him away from me. We are both breathing hard and I looked at him with confusion.

"This has to stop, otherwise I may loose control", he said, slowly walking towards me.

I just nodded my head in response, while blushing furiously. I pulled my top down, that had ridden up when we were kissing. He came closer to me and pulled me more closer to him again. He tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. His face is serious, devoid of any expression. Why is he so serious?

"What are you doing here alone at this time of night Anna?".

Ah! Just say my name once again and I will kiss him right there. My wolf is howling with agreement. Huh... who am I talking about. She wanted to mate with him, on the moment she saw him.

"Anna". His voice brought me back from my dirty thoughts. That's when I am brought back to what's happening and why I am running. My pack is under attack and here I am doing romance with my mate! Great Anna! Just great!

"Oh my god!", I said getting out of his arms, panicking.

"What happened?".

"My pack! My pack is under attack. That stupid monster, Alpha Beast is attacking us. We thought, it was tomorrow, but it is today. I hate him! Now! I... We have to go. We have to save our pack. Wait! I never saw you in our pack. Which pack are you from?".

He didn't say anything. He just stood there, with no expression on his face. I didn't understand what is happening.

"Come on...", I trailed off.

Great! It's been at least fifteen minutes, that I met my mate. I even kissed him and yet, I still don't know his name. What a mate I am.

"Um... What is your name?", I asked shyly, giving him a sheepish smile.

"Bane".

"Which pack are you from?".

"Dark Night pack", he replied dryly. I gasped. It is Alpha Beasts pack. I didn't know what to do. I just stood there staring at him.

"Are also a warrior of your pack?", I asked. Cause most of the warriors will be mated to warriors only.

He just shook his head, with a cold look on his face.

"Then?".

"I am the Alpha of the pack", he said coldly. I gasped.

No! No! No, no, no, no, no. Fate can't be this cruel with me. I wanted a mate, not a monster.

I looked up at him and pushed myself into a tree behind me. I gave him a disgusted look. His eyes looked pained, but he covered it quickly. He came forward and extended a hand to touch me.

"No!", I said, pushing myself further into the tree.

"Anna".

"Please don't kill me", I begged him shamelessly. Cause I don't stand a chance of living if I fight him. I heard a growl coming form me.

"No! I will never do that!", he growled coming near me.

"Stay away from me you monster!", I said and did the first thing that came into my mind.

I ran.

I didn't even take three steps and was soon tackled down to the ground by him, but I didn't fall on the ground. He fell and I fell above him.

I know it's a long chapter. But I hope you guys like it. I wrote it like that because, I wanted you guys to fell that love between them.
