I opened my eyes and squinted as the bright lights bothered my eyesight.. I tried to sit up but I felt someone push me back down.. I looked to my left and saw Brie.. "Brie?" I tried to move my head but I couldn't move.. "Hey Nikki, try not to move to much okay? You just got out of surgery." Surgery? "What do you mean surgery?" I put my hands on my neck as I felt something wrapped around my neck.. "After Bray attacked you, he injured your neck.. You needed immediate surgery.." I felt tears fill my eyes.. "Brie, how long will it be out of WWE?" She looked at me with a smile.. "You need at least 9-12 months of rest." A tear fell from my eye "So I'm gonna miss at least a year of work.." She nodded.. The door opened and in walked the doctor.. "Hello Nicole.. I'm Dr.Burb.. I'm the one that performed the surgery.. You will have to be out 9-12 months but for now you can go home. Remember not to move too much and watch how you sleep.." I grabbed Brie's hand as she helped me sit up.. "Yea. Thanks doctor.." He nodded and walked out.. Brie handed me a pair of clothes.. "Come on, let's get you out this hospital gown.." She helped me get dressed and get my shoes on.. A few minutes after, I was ready to go.. A knock on the door, turned my attention.. Dean poked his head in.. "Hey Nikki, how you feeling?" I shrugged "I've been better.." He chuckled "Yea, I bet. Hey babe, Um someone wants to see your sister.. Alone." Brie nodded "Oh yea.. Sure." Brie grabbed her bag and walked out the door with Dean.. Who are they talking about? The door opened and Joseph walked in with roses and a ballon.. "Hey babygirl." I smiled as he walked in. "Hey Joseph." He handed me the roses and sat next to me.. "Hey, what did the doc say?" I shrugged "I had immediate neck surgery and I'm gonna be out of the ring for a few months." "Damn." I grabbed his hand. "I think it's actually a good thing." He took a deep breath "How could this possibly be a good thing?" "It gives both of us just the right amount of time to thinking about ourselves.. Especially you, it gives you time to decide what you really want in your life and whether or not I belong in life.." He looked at me with an understanding face.. "Why did we let it get so far?" I shrugged "Like I said, we were trying to hide what was really happening." He squeezed my hand in his. "This isn't a break up.. It's just some thinking for ourselves." I nodded "My love for you is still strong as ever." He pulled me close and pecked my lips. He got up from the bed and helped me up.. "Remember you are the only woman that I will ever truly love.. And you and I will be married one day." "Hmm, Yea I know." He grabbed my hand as I gathered my things and we walked out of the hospital room, hand and hand.
