JINHEE's POV

I've been absent for 4 days, within those 4 days I buried myself with work to forget the pain. I just didn't want to show up in school. Yes, I'm avoiding this whole situation. I didn't want to see Tae, I know I'll broke if I see him with Yuna again. The image of them kissing won't stop appearing in my head.

Only 4 days of absent at school, my phone was jammed with messages and calls from BTS and Miyoung and Taehyung, too. They were all worried about why I'm not showing up for school, some even thought I'm switching school. I replied to every single one of them except Taehyung. I stood still, staring at his text blankly. My heart tells me to reply while my brain argue not to, I ended up listen to my brain.

I hung my head low as I walked to the school's gate. I never felt this lifeless walking to school before.

Everything was the same, nothing changed, students are still as loud as always. I passed a group of girls, picking up some things they gossip about.

"Omg! Taehyung finally broke up with that girl hehe, I finally have a chance!"

"That's unfortunate, I thought they look good with each other"

"Seriously, I look better with Tae then she'll ever do!!"

What.....the....hell.....
There's no way they're talking about Taehyung and Yuna right?

"I'm glad Tae broke up with her, Yuna is too clingy anyway!!"

Yup, they are.....

What is this I'm feeling in my heart?

Why does it beat so fast?

"JINHEEE!!!"

I turn to the direction where the voice comes from to find Miyoung.

"Hello!" I walked to her with a smile, she greeted me back with a hug.

"Omg! I miss you so much! I thought you died" she fake a cry.

"Geez, thanks. I already told you I have family matter"

"You sure about that?" She raises her eyebrows.

"Duh..."

"Or... You tried to avoid Taehyung?" Bullseye

"W-where's Jin?" I quickly changed the topic.

"He's already in class and don't try to change the topic!!"

"I'm not!!!" I argued.

"You know, Taehyung told us everything right? Everything happen that night and I bet you heard about Yuna and Taehyung broke up. That's because he loves you~" Miyoung smile sincerely.

"I don't know what you're talking about!" I said then walk ahead of her while trying to calm down my racing heart.

She easily catches up to me "Come on! We all know why Taehyung dated Yuna, obviously not because of love!"
Gosh why is she stressing me out the moment I'm back.

"Miyoung! I'm going to class now bye!!"

"YAH!! remember what I said! Give that poor boy a chance!!" Miyoung yelled as she walked away. Gosh...

*RINGGGGGGGGG*

Great, now I'm late to class.

Phewwwww, thanks god the teacher is not here yet!!

I took a deep breath then open the door. Class was loud as usual and the first person I saw when I walked in was..... You guess it.

Kim Freaking Taehyung!

We make an eye contact for 0.1 sec as I quickly turn away. I curse at myself as I remember I'm his seatmate. greatttt

I walk to my seat, trying not to make any eye contacts with him, but in the corner of my eyes, I could see his gaze are fix on me.
I look at the girls, to see they're swooning all over Taehyung, duh because he's single now.

"Hey Jinhee" he broke a small smile.

"Um... Hi" gosh Jinhee what was that!

"How are you?" He asked.

"I'm fine" I answered without looking at him.

"Why didn't you answered my text?" He asked, his voice sounded hurt.

"I was busy..."

"But you replied to othe-"

The teacher walked in and interrupted Taehyung. Thanks Lawd!

For the rest of the period, I tried not to look, talk, or think of him, it was almost impossible since he won't stop looking at me!

"Jinhee?" Mrs.Lee's voice snap me out of my thought

"Yes?!"

"You were absent for 4 days, you missed a lot of work!" She stopped.

"Can anyone in this class tutor Jinhee about the thing she misses?!" Mrs.Lee asked.

It's no use if you asked, Mrs.Lee..
I don't know anyone in this class! The girls hate me and the boys don't even know I exist.

"I'll do it!" Taehyung raises his hand

*BREAK TIME*

"Jinhee, you're here!"
"Noona!!"
"Jinheeee-ah~!"
"I miss you~"

Well.... I was greeted by the handsome idiots.

"I miss all you guys tooo~" I smiled and sit down while Taehyung sit next to me.

I realize we were in our old seat that we always sit before Yuna arrive.
Speaking of Yuna, she's not here anymore... So it's true... They broke up.

I open my lunch box and they first thing I know......

"Umhhhh~ your egg is good as always~"

TAEHYUNG's POV

"Yah! Who said you can eat it!!" She yelled as she slapped my hand away. I'm never this happy bring slap before!

The guys smirked but I didn't care. Gosh! This feels like the old times.

For the last few days I was dying about her words...
"I don't feel the same"

But now that I think about it, she might be lying. Didn't Rapmon said she rejected him because she loves me? And why would she run away after she saw me and Yuna kissing if she doesn't love me?
A smile appear on my face as I thought of our feelings are mutual.

*AFTER SCHOOL*

"Where shall we go??" Hoseok asked. We wanted to hangout but have no idea where.

"Somewhere where there's food" Suga replied

"Same, I'm hungryyy"

"Gwangjang Market? They sell the best street food there!!" Jimin said.

We ended up heading our way to Gwangjang, but during the walk I kept trying to walk close to Jinhee but she keeps walking away each time! I tried to talk to her but it seems like she wanted to talk to everyone else but me. When she talks to Miyoung and Jin, I tried to get in the conversation but when I successfully did, she end up talking to Jungkook instead. She act like I'm invisible!!

NO ONE's POV

"Okay guys, here's the thing..." Jin whispered to everyone except for Taehyung and Jinhee.
"We'll make the two of them walk ahead then all of us will make an excuse and leaving the two of them together, okay??"

"Okay!"
"Alright!"
"Got it hyung!!"

TAEHYUNG's POV

"Where's Rapmon and Hobi?" Jinhee asked the others with confusion.

"A-Ahboth of them went to the bathroom with the other guys, they'll be back any minute now" Miyoung and Jin replied. Weird.... It's like they disappeared one by one. First Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook, now is Rapmon and Hoseok...

"Oh what abou-..........."

"guys?"

Jinhee and I both look but WHERE DID THEY GO?! They were here just now!!!

*Ding*

I took out my phone and check the message.

Ohh........ So they did this on purpose! A smile appear on my face as I put my phone in my pocket.
I look up to find Jinhee looking at me with confusion in her eyes.

"Uh, Should we go eat?" I offered her with a small smile.

"It's alright, I'll just wait for them" she insisted.

"They're not coming back"

"How are you so sure?" She raised her eyebrows.

"Because they told me" I replied.

"What?" Sigh.... She still don't understand.

"Let's just go!" I smile and hold her wrist, dragging her along with me.

"Yah! Let go! I can go by myself!!" She insisted again. I did what she told and she walk her way from me!

I quietly follow her behind, after a few minutes she stop in front of a street food stand.

JINHEE's POV

"Ahjumma, one spicy rice cake please" I said.

"Make that 2, ahjumma!" Taehyung said and sat next to me. Ugh why

"Here you go, that would be 8,000 won"

I handed her the money at the same time as Taehyung.

"I can pay for myself" I told him.

"Here ahjumma~" Taehyung ignore me while smiling to the ahjumma. He ended up paying for me.

"Aigoo, such a young gentleman" ahjumma chuckle "You guys are such a cute couple"

" NO-"

"Thankyou ahjumma" Taehyung bow to her with the widest smile on his face. As much as I hate it, my heart won't stop beating!!

After she walked away, Tae eat his food and pretend like nothing happen.

"I didn't ask you to pay for me and we're not a couple!!"

"Oh...not .....YET" He smirked. Tch

"I can't believe you just ditch me!" Jinhee rolls her eyes at Miyoung. "For 3 hours"

"Sorry~~" Miyoung nervously laughs.

"I want to kill you right now."

"Oh come onn~ don't lie, I know you actually enjoy hanging out with Taehyung~" Miyoung teased.

"We didn't 'hang out', he just follow me everywhere and end up ordering the same food as me." Jinhee said. *although I actually enjoy it* she thought.

"Anyway, it's getting late. I'll leave now" Jinhee said

"Who's gonna drive you home, noona?" Jungkook asked.

"I'm walking, my house is not far from here" Jinhee smiled.

"That's not safe!! No, Taehyung will drive you home" Hoseok yelled and Taehyung secretly high-5 him.

"Yeah Jinhee, it's not safe for you to go alone" Suga said "Taehyung will drive you home"

"I'm fine, stop overreacting!" Jinhee replied.

"I'll drive you home, you don't want to meet any drunken guy like last time, do you?" Taehyung looks worried.

"No....."

"Jinhee, just go with Taehyung!" Jin said.

"He'll be your bodyguard" Jimin give her a wink.

JINHEE's POV

I slowly open up my eyes when I felt someone poking my cheeks.

"Huh- What?" I said sleepily with only half of my eyes open.

"We're at your house" I spotted Taehyung in the driver seat, leaning toward my seat. Oh... I forgot he ended up driving me home. The ride was so awkward and quiet that I fall asleep. Oh gosh he's soo closeee.

"A-Alright.. Bye I guess" I said as I opened the door.

"Bye Jinhee!! I'll pick you up tomorrow. You have tutoring remember?" He give me his signature rectangular smile.

"Yeah anyway... Thankyou for driving me home" I murmured. "Goodnight"

"Goodnight, Jinhee-ah~~" his voice causes my stomach to do weird flips. Arghhh
