"Well I think that you are hilarious."Shelby said."We're serious Shelby."Narvel said. "Then I think that it's a terrible idea."Shelby replied."Why?"Reba asked slightly hurt."It makes me feel like since i'm gone you need a replacement."Shelby said."Shelby you know that's not true."Reba said"It sure feels like it."Shelby snapped."Shelby,why are you acting this way?!"Narvel asked his youngest son."You wanted to know what I thought.Well this is what I think,i think that I never had a childhood that involved you.You were so caught up and busy touring that you forgot about me!I didn't have a mother,i had a nanny and a part time mother."Shelby turned to walk out but Narvel grabbed his arm."Boy, you know that's not true.She-we love you. I you call a terrible mother singing you a lullaby every night after her concerts, then yes she was bad.But you will not talk to is like that.Get out and cool down before you come back."Narvel said walking away.Shelby looked at his mother who's eyes were filled with disappointment.Shelby turned and left without another word.Reba walked over to a fuming Narvel and sat him down."Maybe he is right."Reba said."No,no.We are not giving into him.Don't it get into your head. We are gonna have another baby whether Shelby likes it or not." Narvel said."But if he isn't happy I'm not either."Reba wined "We'll talk to him later.Just give him sometime to think,he'll come back soon."Narvel assured."You think so?" Reba asked."I do, because I know you and he is just like you."Narvel answered."I think he's more like you."Reba said."Nope,just like his mom."Narvel replied.Reba snuggled up to him and fell asleep.Narvel didn't want to wake her do he just let her sleep and eventually fell asleep himself.
They both woke 2 hours later by the door closing."I'm sorry."Shelby apologized."I was wrong.You can do what ever you want, I don't know what I was thinking."Shelby added on.Reba had tears in her eyes and hugged Shelby."Its okay."She said
