The night was young and the bored couple had nothing to do.They were going to watch a movie but realized the they had seen all of their movie about 4 times each."I can run to town and rent one?"he offered"Na, I'll just cook something and we can eat out by the pool."she said."I'll help you." He replied."No, think of it as payment for being do nice yesterday."Fine." he reluctantly agreed and walked out to the pool.
Reba was carrying the plates out to the pool when Narvel ran to help her."I got it!"she said."Just let me help!'he demanded."No because i'm trying to prove to you that I won't break!"Reba shouted."Look i'm sorry.Its just-this high risk thing scares the hell our of me."he admitted."It scares me too but I'm not going to die.I can do stuff,i just have to take it easy sometimes."Reba said."Narvel,i can't live the next eight months of my life in fear!I love this baby just as much as you do but I'm not going to stop living my life."Reba warned throwing her arms up."I'm not asking you to!I'm just scared you'll hurt them-" Je shut up realizing his mistake.Reba's eyes filled with tears as she turned to walk inside."Wait,i'm sorry." he cried grabbing her wrist."Let me go!" she pulled away from him and continued walking towards the door."Reba,i didn't mean it like that."Narvel explained."Then what did you mean?!huh?! What else could you have possibly meant?!"Reba screamed.By this point they were both in tears,his was one of the worse fights they've had."I just didn't want you to overwork yourself."he said quietly."Don't worry,i won't." she spat finally making it to the back door.Narvel sat down and reflected on what just happened.He trusted Reba with their baby's life...so why did he say that?He had to talk to her,but what would he say?
In the house Reba stormed into the bathroom in their bedroom.She turned in the shower and rested her elbows on the sink while putting her head in her hands.She sighed and heard a knock at the door."What?" she answered through the door."can we talk?"he asked her."As you can hear I'm getting in the shower."she said sarcastically."Alright." he sighed and plopped down on the bed.This was going to be hard.
She stepped into the shower and hoped that the hot water would help her relax.She was so angry and scared that she could barley think.placing her hand on her stomach reminded her why she was scared and remembering her husband telling her that she could easily hurt their hold reminded her just how angry she was.Reba slid down the wall and cried-well sobbed.Out in the bedroom Narvel heard her cries and stormed into the bathroom to comfort his wife no matter how angry she was.Without hesitation he jumped in the shower and enclosed her in a comforting way.Little did he care that he was fully dressed,his wife needed him.
