we sailed towards the docks of Azur Lane,nearing it's port and all the ships,that were already docked there as it looked like the whole base was on the docks to see us arrive,my ship sailed behind the others,letting them take the front so they could dock into their port while I would anchor my ship and have Kasumi's ship right behind mine 

it was still unknown on how they would all react to Me and Kasumi,whether they attack or just stand there looking confused,we would be sure to keep our guard up in case of anything as Azur Lane docked their ship while I anchored and Kasumi summoned her ship behind mine,all before we all jumped onto land

Hornet,Enterprise and Q.E led our group off the extension of the docks while everyone made their way to us as Me and Kasumi walked behind everyone,the silence in my group was a clear sign that there was still tension between them all as neither of the 2 leaders opposed of Hornet walking in front of everyone

I was quite curious as to how the situation of the Eagle Union Leadership would escalate as it could prove to be both good and bad for Me and Kasumi,depending on how it turns out,I could only assume that most of Azur Lane was also blind about Hornet's power situation,which is why she wants us to keep the secret from everyone 

I would say,that her decision was a stupid one as keeping secrets was a large reason for distrust but she did say,that she wanted to be the one to tell them,which at least meant,that she has intentions to let everyone know of the situation

though,I was even more curious of the actual Leader of the Eagle Union as she held all the actual power over the faction,even going as far as to leave her Sister with a contingency plan incase Azur Lane lost it's way and specifically reprimanded Enterprise through her Sister as well

I would go as far to say,that this Leader was something like Lady Amagi,who was incredibly smart and wise while maintaining my Sister's power over the faction,whoever this Yorktown person is,I would go as far as to say that she has her faction underwraps despite whatever her reason for absence was

as I thought to myself,the group I was with and the whole base of Azur Lane met as questions were quickly thrown at Hornet and the 2 faction Leaders as they 3 were quickly questioned by their own forces about the their decision to bring us into their ranks despite our so called allegiance to the Sakura Empire

the 3 gave answers,the best they could,trying to calm down the outrage of the Azur Lane ships as Me and Kasumi watched them all,practically lose their minds out of the knowledge that the strongest ship of the Sakura Empire was anchored just a small distance away from the docks

Illustrious:your Majesty,how was this decided upon,surely we did not give in on a whim so suddenly

Q.E:rest assured Illustrious,we did not falter or surrender,in fact it was the opposite

Hood:you Majesty,we need details,why is the brother of Nagato here with a Destroyer

Enterprise:there was a deal that was made,Hood

Georgia:what deal,we need more than this 

Hornet:the basic summary is,these 2 will stop fighting Azur Lane in exchange,we let them stay here with us

the shipgirls of Azur Lane just stared at the Carrier with a look of disbelief as their minds likely failed to quickly comprehend what it was,that was said to them,no matter how true it was,they most likely didn't want to accept the fact,that their strongest enemy was now living with them but there was not much they could do

???1:there must be some mistake here,your Majesty,there has to be more to it

Q.E:you all may believe you want to believe but the facts are still facts,in exchange for shelter and basic necessities,these 2 will cease all hostility towards Azur Lane 

San Diego:so,we're just going to let them off the hook

???2:we can't accept that,the boy over there has shelled us more times than I can count

Hornet:we're no better

???2:what?

Hornet:we're no better than he is,we've fire just as many shells at him as he has at us,heck we're even worse if you think about it,we've planned so many ambushes just for him,that I've lost count,so are we really different

Seattle:Hornet,why are you defending him,don't tell us,you've-

Hornet:1,a deal's been reached so we have a agreement,2,why shouldn't I,he's part of Azur Lane now and you're all throwing accusations like you've all never committed wrong doings and crimes yourself

there was silence between the crowd and my group as Hornet managed to shut up everyone on the docks with a few simple facts,that everyone overlooks,though I she may not look like it,she is very capable as a Leader and though Enterprise does hold the same abilities to lead,she way too often strays from a good path that has been set

San Diego:so are we just letting him off the hook

Hornet:no,part of the deal was,he would also assist on any battlefronts against any of our enemies apart from the Sakura Empire,I say that would be a good way to make up for the damage he's done

Georgia:so he's going to fight with us?

Enterprise:yes,he'll assist us any front except against the Sakura Empire and internal affairs,this was one of the parts of the deal

???3:what about the girl

Nagaro:she has no part in the combat end of the deal,she remains here,under agreed upon terms

???4:protecting her?

Nagaro:yes,much like you,I seek to protect those close to Me,unlike you,I have the means to do so

Hornet:enough,all everyone needs to know is they both are official members of Azur Lane from the Sakura Empire,treat them as you all would any Azur Lane ship

Hornet made it very clear to them all as they all looked over to Me and Kasumi with mixed feelings about the situation,Kasumi could only try to avoid everyone's gazes while I really did not care about they're stares as for the past minutes now,I sensed hidden movements

while Azur Lane tried to have a stare down with Me and Kasumi,I was trying to find any irregularities in the area to help Me find,who ever it was that was lurking around,I already had a good guess as to who this might be,it was all a matter of finding them now

soon enough though,I sensed a irregularity with the wind,giving Me the exact location of the hidden person as I summoned my katana into my hand,quickly alerting Azur Lane to summon their rigging as I disappear from where I was standing,to reappear,slightly in the air as I swung from the side,hitting something we couldn't see as my sword sliced through something

soon enough,once my sword fully cut through,the object I hit was revealed as the invisibility that hid it broke,revealing it to be a Siren,her head fell off from her shoulders as both her body and head fell to the ground,lifeless while I landed on my feet before swiping the blood off my katana and sheathing it

Azur Lane and Kasumi looked with surprise as I unsummoned my sword and approached the dead Siren before kneeling down to get a better look at the enemy I killed as I quickly identified her to be one of the humanoid Cruiser Sirens

Nagaro:it's safe to assume that my Sisters have realized Kasumi and I have left the Empire and something is wrong,the Sirens probably learned of this and both factions sent out search parties for different reasons

Kasumi:what will we do,Sir Nagaro

Nagaro:that depends on them,doesn't it

we both looked over to Azur Lane who all were still looking at Me and the dead Sirens in disbelief while Hornet crossed her arms,seemingly come up with a answer already as she looked at Me with a convinced look 

Hornet:well,we made a deal already,didn't we and we're here now,so why turn back,besides,I'd rather fight 3 fleets of Siren than you 

Nagaro:then you have our gratitude 

Hornet:don't mention it,the goal is to reunite the faction,your our fist step to that,so let's wok together the best we can

Nagaro:we'll see 

Q.E:so we're really doing this

Hornet:you have an objection?

Q.E:.......................no......not right now at least

Hornet:then it's settled,you two can stay here,we'll give you a shared room and the basics like a tour and the things you need

Kasumi:we brought our own belongings with us before leaving the Empire,we don't need anything right now

Hornet:great,I'll show you both to a spare room myself

Enterprise:alright everyone,we're done here,return to your duties and your days

Hornet:actually,I want everyone to meet Me in the cafeteria later

???5:what for Hornet

Hornet:I have something to announce to you all,something important 

Hood:can you not tell us now?

Hornet:nope,just meet Me in the cafeteria later and I'll explain everything 

Azur Lane could only look to each other in confusion while Hornet gave them all a sincere looking smile as Me and Kasumi knew what it was she wanted everyone in the cafeteria for,as I had thought prior,she at least had the intentions to reveal the secret to them,which was respectable and a smart thing to do as to not cause confusion between everyone as it obvious that some were perplexed as to why Hornet was speaking for Eagle Union and not Enterprise

once the announcement processed in the minds of Azur Lane,they began leaving one by one until the whole crowd dispersed as Hornet motioned us to follow her,which we did as I suspected,that she was leading us to the room we would be staying in

as we walked away,I caught a glimpse of Hornet looking back to her Sister with a somewhat concerned and weary look before looking away as I too looked back to the group we were with before as I saw them looking at us leave with a still concerned and unsure look on their face as I looked away and dropped the thought of what I saw

Mutsu's POV

everyone rejoiced when Brother brought back Shinano from the mainland as morale of every ship in the Empire returned to its peak with the return of largest Carrier,Yamato and Musashi were more overjoyed than anyone else with the return of their youngest Sister as we all suspected that everything would return to normal and progress with our plans would resume

the unexpected good news even came in the same day as Brother had come back to the shrine in the night to stay with us,we warmly welcomed him back as Me and Sister Nagato easily tried to give him a warm feeling as he returned but as we looked at him,he wouldn't make any indicative faces of shown much emotion,as if it was his first time arriving here again 

despite that,it didn't stop Me or Sister Nagato from welcoming him as best we could back into the shrine,it was clear,that the tension between us and him were still high as we found somewhat awkward to talk with and when we could find something to talk about,he would respond with simple answers,that were hard to continue the conversation with 

it was also somewhat breaking to morale,to see the one real expression he showed when he returned as he just seemed sad or forced as if he was just forcing himself to be here and not just leave on a whim,it hurt Me,thinking that he was here just because he was forcing himself to be here and it clearly was hurting him just as much but when we asked him,he would always deny it or deflect the question to something else

in an attempt to ease all of us,I did what I could to try and change the mood of everyone,distracting them,changing topics of conversation,trying to remove the thought of what's happened so far,I did everything I could but nothing worked and in the end,nothing changed

the same is what happened during dinner,when we all ate as it nothing but awkward silence with the occasional sound of our chopsticks hitting our bowls as we all just ate before heading straight to bed which was no better than the times before

just laying on our mattress together with him had been awkward as I could tell the other 2 I was with couldn't fall asleep either,everything normal between us and Brother had become so irregular to us,that it made us restless and at this point,sleep was pretty much impossible for all of us 

I cursed everything that's happened with every bit of my being as I laid restless while looking away from Brother to not have to look him in the eyes or at him at all,saving us all from more awkwardness as Sister Nagato and Brother laid restless as well

it was only until I felt the soft touch of something brush against the top of my head did I start to feel drowsy,the touch was soft and gentle and there was feeling of care with every second of contact I felt as I felt myself begin to drift off to sleep,it was short thought that made Me realize,that it was Brother's tails I felt brushing my head as I began to close my eyes while I felt something wet roll down my cheek,I felt Brother's tail wipe my eye and my cheek with his tail before brushing the top my head again as I fully fell asleep for the night while I felt the caring touch of Brother

when I woke up the next day,I groggily sat up and stretched with a long yawn before I looked over to see,Sister Nagato looking down at our mattress with a bit of confusion in her look as I looked down to where she was looking at to see,that Brother was no longer in here with us

I suspected that he had left,like he normally does in the morning as both Me and Sister Nagato rose from our mattress,we left our room and did as we did everyday,starting off the day with a meal,then bathing,then proceeding with our work and by our work,more so,Sister's work while I would tend to whatever there was as I didn't have many official duties

many of the official duties were handled by Sister and the other Officers of the Sakura Empire while I more relegated to combat with the rest of the Sakura Empire as a standing commanding Officer for any group I have to lead

so as Sister did paperwork with the rest of the Officers,I could only laze around and wonder the already familiar shrine,that we live in and though I highly doubted it due to the tension between us,I was really hoping to find Brother in the shrine and maybe sort some things out with him,unfortunately,I circled the shrine twice and didn't a find a single trace of him which led Me to believe that he had already left the shrine again

as I wondered the shrine again however,surprisingly just an hour before it became middle day,Kawakaze came and called Me as Sister was calling for all the Officers due to some kind of urgent news that is highly concerning 

naturally,I quickly went to the meeting area where everyone already was as I sat down next to Sister while Takao was sitting in the middle,I assumed she was the one with the urgent news for us as Sister Nagato looked around to see if everyone was ready before she gave Takao the freedom to speak

Nagato:alright,Takao,what is it that is so urgent 

Takao:Lady Nagato,concerning and distressing news has come up at the docks,that concern the whole of the officers and the Sakura Empire

Yamato:what is this new,Takao

Takao:Lady Yamato,are you aware of Sir Nagaro's current location or whereabouts

Yamato:no,not at the moment,the last I heard of his location was he had returned to the shrine last night and had not been seen since

Takao:well,at the current moment,Lady Yamato,Sir Nagaro's ship is not in the docks and is missing

the officers all looked at the Cruiser with noticeable concern and worry as they heard that the strongest ship in the Empire was now missing,Sister was noticeably more concerned than the rest as I could tell from her eyes,that she already was considering the possibilities of the situation,like she always does 

like everyone here,I too was worried as the possibilities of the scenario were not in our favor,Brother could have simply left for some time and hasn't returned but there was good enough reason for us to believe that,that wasn't the case in the slightest,still though,I could tell that Sister didn't want to believe in the worst

Nagato:how long has he been missing

Takao:we are unsure of the exact details but report and statements from some of the early risers in the Empire say,that they noticed his ship was gone from early morning 

Musashi:maybe he just left and hasn't returned?

Mikasa:as much as we want to believe that,we enough reasons to believe otherwise

Amagi:it seems our worst fears are coming into reality

Yamato:we're not sure of anything yet,so don't jump to conclusions

Nagato:what else is there,Takao

Takao:there is another ship missing from the docks but we are still trying to identify the missing ship,though we assume that this ship went with Sir Nagaro

Nagato & Mutsu(mind):Kasumi

Akagi:are there any traces of him or any leads to where he has gone

Takao:unfortunately not,there was nothing for us to use as a lead

Kaga:clearly he doesn't want to be found or followed

Tosa:but "why",is the question

Shinano:I did find it questionable,that he had suddenly returned to the shrine without warning,is it possible that,it was a warning or clue

Mikasa:do you believe that he returned to obtain or take something

Kawakaze:I did a full circle of the shrine and saw nothing out of place or missing during it,nothing of value was touched and all belongings in the shrine are where they should be

Mikasa:so it wasn't to steal

Nagato:is there anything else,Takao

Takao:nothing more,Lady Nagato,that is all we have at the moment

Nagato:then you may go

Takao gave a light bow before standing up and getting escorted to the exit by Kawakaze as the meeting area was filled with silence as everyone entered their own thoughts to think of the situation,everyone was clearly confused at the situation at hand but Sister and I understood at what might be going on,it was just hard for us to accept 

he came back to the shrine,we talked together,we ate together and we slept together,just like when he first came here,even helping us sleep when we were restless like when he first came here,but like when he first came,he was gone in the morning and it didn't look like he was coming back this time

Yamato:what to do we do

Amagi:we should send a search fleet immediately and a messenger to our allies to alert them of the situation

Tosa:I agree,the more people who can help with the search,the better

Musashi:who's to say that they won't take advantage of the situation to crush though

Akagi:I have to agree with that,Iron Blood and Vichya Dominion would not lose the opportunity to strike us down if it were presented to them

Kaga:at the very least,we should send the search fleet 

Mikasa:do we assume the worst and say that he is with the enemy

Yamato:we shouldn't be hasty with that,we know he left but he could be anywhere,the best course to do is send a scouting fleet to see if he really is with them,then we should decide what to do from there

Musashi:what about the Orochi project,aren't we delaying it too much

Mikasa:Sir Nagaro is much more valuable and important than the Orochi,we cannot focus on that right now,we have to put our attention on finding,Sir Nagaro

Akagi:what if we do find him with Azur Lane,what do we about that

there was once again silence as no one could answer Akagi's question,we never accounted for the possibility of Brother turning his allegiance to the enemy because we never could and never wanted to but now that we're faced with the problem we tried to avoid,we couldn't find a viable solution for it 

I had one in mind and I knew Sister had the same idea but we understood that the likeliness for it to succeed was not high as the opportunity for it to be used has far past it's area of chances and now we were left with virtually no options to counter with until Sister spoke

Nagato:we continued as planned 

Yamato:Lady Nagato?

Musashi:huh?

Shinano:............

Amagi:what do you mean,Lady Nagato

Tosa:you couldn't possibly mean what I believe you are thinking,Lady Nagato

Akagi:what does that mean,Lady Nagato?

Kaga:I do not understand

Mikasa:Lady Nagato.......

Mutsu:Sister,what do-

Nagato:it is as I have said,as much everyone will hate it,as much as we will hate it,as much as the Empire itself will hate it,if Brother has turned and sided with our enemy then we cannot change that and if that is the case then we shall proceed without him

Mutsu:Sister,you can't be serious

Nagato:this only if we can confirm that he has betrayed the Empire,until then,our focus is finding him,Yamato,I want you to assemble the search fleets and assign locations to search

Yamato:of course,Lady Yamato

Mikasa:alert the mainland of the situation and send a messenger to the Sardegna Empire,I want to ask them to help in the search and to keep this top secret from the Vichya Dominion and Iron Blood

Mikasa:of course,Lady Nagato,I'll have it done as soon as possible

Nagato:the rest are to continue with their duties 

Everyone:of course,Lady Nagato

Nagato:then we're finished here

Sister dismissed everyone and ended the meeting as we all stood and left the meeting area to return and complete our tasks as I followed Sister out of the meeting area as I wanted to talk to her about her ending decisions 

Mutsu:Sister

Nagato:I already know,what you're thinking about,Sister

Mutsu:then why make that decision

Nagato:he came back to us in the evening,Muts,he stayed the night with us before leaving,the people who kept the truth from him and fed him lies,he gave us the clue and the warning and we took it lightly,all that is left for us is to hope,that we're wrong

Mutsu:and what if we aren't

Nagato:then he's made his choice and I doubt any of us can change his mind

Mutsu:and what if he's right,what if he was right all along and we didn't listen to him

Nagato:then that was our choice,we cannot do anything else about it at this point

Mutsu:we can and we could've,we had every opportunity to do it but we kept turning a blind eye to it

Nagato:what is your point here,Sister

Mutsu:we could've avoided this,we could've avoided all of this but we didn't,we could've stopped our fight from ever happening but we did NOTHING,we stood by and did absolutely NOTHING

Nagato:I still do not see your point,Sister

Mutsu:.............................I'm tired,Sister,I'm tired of believing that things are ok,we thought we had everything figured out but we understood nothing and we questioned nothing,not our choices,not our decisions,nothing and I'm tired of it,Sister......................I just want him back with us

I could feel my eyes begin to water as I just now wanted to cry,all I wanted to do now was lay down and cry my eyes out,I pretended with everyone that everything was alright,that things would work out for all of us,everyone knew more than Me after all,they understood more than Me after all,they were much better than Me after all,so I left it to them but now,Brother was gone and we knew he wasn't coming back

in response,Sister Nagato pulled Me into her embrace as she rubbed the back of my head while tears began to roll down my eyes like last night as I wrapped my arms around Sister while she comforted Me 

Nagato:I understand,Sister,believe Me,I am tired of this too but our mistakes have led to consequences,that we cannot fix yet,all we can do is move forward and hope that we can make things better with him 

Mutsu:*sobs**sobs*we could've*sobs* done something

Nagato:I know,I know and I realized that too late,I was the one making the choice and the decisions,I was the one to lose him,I understood that but as much as would like to,I can't favor Brother over the Empire

Mutsu:*sobs*is he not*sobs*part of the Empire

Nagato:of course he is,he always will be but what he wants is to throw away all we worked for,though he may be right,we cannot be sure of that and though we could be right,we cannot be sure of that either,like everyone,all we could do was watch and see what happens

as I slowly calmed down,Sister stated the truth to Me as the options we had were always limited,all we could do was hope and watch as things unfolded before us,letting things play out from the choices we made and accept the outcome but I didn't want to

I didn't want to accept the outcome,I didn't want to lose my Brother,if there was any chance to get him back,then I would take it,if there was even the slightest of chance to convince him,then I would take it,I had to stop leaving everything to everyone and start questioning what is decide and decided for myself 

Nagato:are you ok now

Mutsu*sob*yes,.............thank you

Nagato:what are you going to do now then

Mutsu:I'm going to join the search fleets ,I'm going to look for Brother

Nagato:ok,go then,tell Yamato,that you'll join and that you have my approval

Mutsu:ok........I'll go then

after our talk,I broke from the embrace and walked away to go find,Yamato,so I could join one of the search fleets,which brought Me to where I was now as my train of thoughts was broken by someone calling my name 

I looked over to see Atago and the rest of the search fleet I was with looking at Me,it was already an hour past midday and 30 minutes since we had departed to begin our search as I had been thinking back to what had happen today so far

Atago:is there something wrong Lady Mutsu

Mutsu:it's nothing,I'm just worried about Brother

Takao:don't worry,Lady Mutsu,Sir Nagaro is our strongest fighter,even if he is missing,he can handle himself 

Hoshou:yes,all we need to do is find him

Hiryuu:easier said than done though

Soryuu:agreed,most of the Carriers already launched search Aircraft when we confirmed that he was missing and that was more than 2 hours ago and we haven't found a single trace of him

Takao:no general direction,no traces,no clues,no tracks and no information,he's either gone missing and someone covered his tracks or he himself doesn't want to be found

Hoshou:why would the latter make sense though,what would his reason be for it

Hiryuu:we can ask him when we find him,what I'm more worried about is,who is the other ship,that went missing

Atago:indeed,there is still info or clue as to who else is missing

Soryuu:perhaps the other ship was taken by the enemy and Sir Nagaro went after them

Takao:a good possibility but,why would Sir Nagaro be taking so long,clearly he would have no problem recovering a single ship with his ability,no matter how big the enemy force is

Hoshou:what's your take on this,lady Mutsu

Mutsu:..................................I'm not quite sure but our focus should be on the search,if we find one or the other,then it will inevitably lead us to the other

Atago:that would make sense

Mutsu:once we're further out from the base,we'll split up to cover more area,Hoshou will go with Takao since she's not adept in single combat

Soryuu:is that wise to do,Lady Mutsu

Mutsu:we're still in our own waters,so I don't expect too much hostile movement,so it's safe enough for us to split up,we'll meet near the island with the big spear like stone to regroup before searching outside our waters if we have enough time in the day

Everyone:understood

we sailed out further into our territory and continued our search for Brother as Hoshou scanned from the sky with her aircraft,only for our efforts to be fruitless as we found absolutely nothing but open ocean

eventually,we all split up with Hoshou being the exception as she went with Takao due to her inability to fight on her own while I headed off alone in one direction while the others checked in different and opposite directions 

without everyone with Me,it was awfully quiet as I searched for Brother,taking into account of the smallest details that might have a chance to lead Me to him but even then,there was nothing to take note off and nothing to be found,our oceans were no different than they were yesterday and there was no difference to see,that can act as a viable clue 

we continued to search though,to the point,that I was willing to look through every inch of the ocean we occupied,if it meant that I would find Brother but 4 hours after I had that thought and I was beginning to lose hope that he was still in Sakura Empire territory or in any allied territories at all

I held onto whatever remaining hope there was,that the worst case scenario wasn't real as I continued to search for Brother across our territory until I realized,that i had been searching for so long,that the sun was already setting beyond the horizon

the fleet I was with most likely had already returned back to the base after a long day of searching while I had continued on my search without realizing the time of day,I could only sigh to myself in defeat at not finding anything useful in searching for Brother until I looked over and noticed a humanoid Siren floating about,before flying away at a moderate speed

deciding that it might be worth it to see what it was up to,I followed the Siren to wherever it went,maintaining a moderate distance,so I wouldn't be noticed as I followed while the Siren leisurely flew away from Me until it came to a complete stop

I went to go find cover to hide,in case the Siren turned around,only for Me to realize,that I had been led out into the open with no cover at all as I realized,that the Siren turned around to look at Me

I quickly turned my attention to the flying opponent in front of Me while I readied myself in case I had to fight or escape,the Siren looked at me with a cocky but calculated smile as I looked at her with suspicion while she looked down at Me,seemingly assessing Me

Siren:why not put your guard down a bit,if I wanted to fight you,i would have already fired a shot at you

Mutsu:do you think I'll buy your lies,Siren

Siren:I speak the truth,after all,I know what your after,so far out from your base

Mutsu:do you know??

Siren:of course,your brother's gone missing after all and her oh so dear older Sister is worried about him

I was a bit surprised to know,that the Sirens knew what I was doing here but I should have expected the Sirens to already know of Brother's disappearance,since it was a likely assumption,that they were behind it

Siren:you all have been looking in the wrong place

Mutsu:and why should I believe you for a second

Siren:you've found nothing here,you've found nothing at all

Mutsu:so,what of it,maybe I just missed something

Siren:stop fooling yourself,you,your Sister,those Officers of yours,you all already know,where he might be but you deny it-

Mutsu:be quiet

Siren:you know what you've done to him and you know what might be his response to it but you deny it-

Mutsu:BE quiet

Siren:you know,where he is,so why don't you go and see for yourself if he's there

with a quick burst of speed,I aimed my cannon and fired a full barrage at the Siren,which tore her part and filled her with holes as he body fell onto the ocean surface,I gasped for air while I looked at the Siren,that was somehow still alive as she laughed maniacally before sinking beneath the waves and dying

soon after the Siren's death,portals appeared and from them,around 30 or so Sirens emerged from the portals and floated in front of Me,it was then,that it hit Me,the source of all of this was right in front of Me,the reason why resorted to such secret weapons,why Brother became so mad at us,why he left in the first place,it was all their fault,it was always their fault from their beginning 

when he first came here,he made it clear to us,what the real problem in the world was,it was us,it wasn't Azur lane,it wasn't the war we wage against each other,it was always the puppeteers,that pulled the string from behind the curtains,the ones who started all of this,it was always the Siren's fault and we glanced over it

Siren:you know where you are wrong but-

Mutsu:do you think 30 of you will be enough to take Me,you should bring a hundred more to at least make Me sweat

Siren:getting brave now?,do you think killing us will make him forgive you?

Mutsu:it's not about the forgiveness,it's about my new view on his belief

Siren:well it doesn't matter,he won't be able to see your view of belief at the bottom of the ocean

the Sirens aimed and charged their cannons as they looked at Me while my head hanged low as the front of my hair covered my eyes from being seen as I felt every ounce of my anger want to be channeled into a pure destructive force,that would leave nothing left of these Sirens as I cracked my fingers to limber them up

Mutsu:do you think 30 of you will be enough

Siren:more than enough

Mutsu:how wrong you are

Siren:do you think your special,in comparison to your Sister and Brother,your no better than your regular shipgirl

Mutsu:Brother got his skills from learning to fight from other people,copying their techniques to almost perfect degrees,yet,despite learning many other techniques and forms,he foughts normally with only one

Siren:where do you think you're going with this,a ploy to buy time

Mutsu:I'm simply saying,he didn't get his skill from Mikasa,and Takao couldn't teach him anything new but I would say,he learned my techniques perfectly  

summoning my 2 katanas into my hand and with a burst of speed as my eyes glowed gold with my bloodlust present,I dashed at the Sirens,running in between some of them as I decapitated 4 of them before sliding on the water and before the the other 26 remaining could realize

I quickly jumped into the air as the Sirens looked to their headless comrades while I came down like a cannon shell with my katanas overhead as I sliced another Siren into 3 pieces before I jumped into the air again and stabbed one of my katana's into the chest of another Siren to keep Me up

I chopped her head off before I jumped off of her and onto another Siren as I chopped her head off as well,repeating this until 20 remained as I hopped into the air again and fired another barrage from my cannons,killing another 7 as I landed on another Siren,who tried to fire at Me while I was in the middle of the air 

she missed completely as I sliced her in half before beheading another one,that was close to her as I spun my sword around her neck before her head came off,using the momentum to send Me to the next Siren as I stabbed my katana into her head before I looked over and fired another barrage,killing another 5

5 Siren remained as they started to fire back at me after getting a lock on Me as I jumped off the Siren I stabbed and moved to the remaining 5 as I kicked them all down to the water,so I could enjoy killing them for a bit

as I landed on the water,the Sirens were getting up as I quickly dashed at them to stop them from getting up,so I could give them a maximized beating,that might put some fear in them as I quickly moved and kicked them all in the stomach with my knee,knocking the wind out of them and making them kneel and curl up

I then grabbed them by the necks and tossed them into each other,making them collide as I piled them all into each other,making it easy for Me to grab them as I pleased,so I could I grab another one once I was done with killing one of them

I grabbed the first one and cut off her arm without warning before I drove my katana through her stomach and into the chest of the Siren behind her as I began to slowly turn my katana while it was still inside here,consequently turning the insides of the ches of the other Siren

I then pulled out my katana from them,pulling out their insides and making them spill into the ocean as the Siren behind fell over and died while I kicked the one I held with my knee,widely opening her wound as she rapidly bled out before falling over with a shocked expression

I then grabbed another 2 as I grabbed the arm of one of them,before shoving it down the throat of the other as I took the the leg of the other Siren,that had an arm down their throat and kicked a whole into the chest of the other Siren,that had her arm down a throat

after the 2 were pretty much locked together,I pushed the 2 together as the foot went through the chest while the arm popped out the back of the chest,killing both Sirens before I blasted them both with my cannons,destroying the upper half of their bodies and leaving the lower half untouched as it fell over to the side

it was then I looked over to the last Siren,that was seemingly trying to crawl away as I moved to her and grabbed her by the back of the neck and pulled her back as I looked at her face,that showed absolute fear and terror,that had never been seen on a Siren before 

after getting a good look at the Siren,I stabbed my katana through her before letting her drop as she fell to her knees before she tried to pull the sword out of her,unfortunately for her,she had no strength left to do it as I summoned 2 more katanas and stabbed both into here,pushing her down more as she was on the verge of dying

I continued on as I summoned 6 or so more katanas and stabbed through her with them as I turned her back into a sword pedestal for my swords before she fully died after the 13th katana through her back,which should also be where her heart should is as I was ready with 2 more blood covered katanas in my hands in case she still wasn't dead

once the final Siren was dead,I looked at my surroundings as the water around Me had turned  yellow from the color of Siren blood while the other bodies had already sunk as the last body sank beneath the waves as well

I then looked at myself as my clothes,my katana's and myself in general was covered in Siren blood with the color yellow staining my clothes and body while I looked at the yellow water I floated on

deciding to turn away and get my mind off things,I turned to the sky,that was now darkened by what looked like a storm,that was about start as I started to hear voices,that called out my name,I turned my attention to the direction of the sound,with my hair still covering my eyes as I see my search fleet approaching

it didn't take them long to arrive as they saw Me stand on the yellow water,that they knew all too well was not paint of anything normal while they also saw Me covered from head to toe in Siren blood as I started to slowly surf towards them

Atago:what happened here

Hiryuu:Lady Mutsu,are you alright,are you hurt

Mutsu:.......................I'm fine,it was nothing more than a simple battle

Hoshou:what happened

Mutsu:a Siren trap,they paid for it

Soryuu:w-we see,should...........we return to base

Mutsu:yes,let us return

I passed the fleet and started to sail back to base,not bothering to summon my ship to get back as the fleet followed close behind Me while we all returned to base,so i could maybe get my mind of things as my body wanted nothing more than to kill more Sirens or anything in general for the matter

Nagaro's POV

as the storm poured rain over us and shot lightning in the distance,I stood over the carcass of a dead Siren production model while the rest of it's fleet was set ablaze by black fire,that was melting the ships as remaining humanoid Sirens floated in the air in front of Me,with almost no rigging or limbs for the matter

Azur Lane's Eagle Union task force,that I was sent to rescue could only sit on the water,injured from the attack of the fleet,I destroyed prior to my arrival as they watched with and slight fear while I looked at the Siren with my glowing golden eyes

instead of running for their lives,they charged at Me with no fear as I set them ablaze like their ship with the fire melting their very being and turning them into nothing more than liquid before they could even get to Me as the whole was now dead and the fleet itself was turning into molten metal 

I jumped down from the destroyed ship and looked at Azur lane's pathetic state while the darkness of the night and storm added to serve as extra emphasis on my glowing eyes as Azur lane only stared at Me,expecting the worst,now that they were weak and vulnerable

instead of attacking them though,I summoned my ship and started helping them on before I got on the move to get them back to their base as per request from Hornet to Me as I kept watch while they sat against the bridge of my ship

Nagaro:.........................I want to save the Sakura Empire....................and I need Azur Lane's help to do it

Author:that's going to do it for this chapter guys,I hope you all enjoyed it,cuz I really am somewhat dragging out the plot from the Orochi fight,I'm envisioning another confrontation between Azur Lane and Crimson Axis before the Orochi fight,so I hope you all look forward to the next one,until next time
