Bebe:avni u didnt change beta

Avni: woh I was about to but neil came she said

Shweta: did he try to...she left her sentence hanging

Avni:no no... I wont fall weak this time...I'm in this house as I know if I hadn't come neil would harm sam in a way and I cant afford that at any cost ...shweta and bebe smiled

Shweta:i pray that yours  and sameer bond always stay like this..the way u r staying here for his sake is showing how important he is to u...acha go and change and eat this she said showing a bowl of chole and paratha

Avni:aunty u didnt have to make this

Shweta:arien I didnt make it prakash ji actually went to get all of us some food she said

Bebe: chalo go and change and then eat

Avni: I dont actually feel like eating

Shweta: well u will have to ok u have no choice 

Avni:, have u all eaten ?

Shweta: noo we will in a bit

Avni: um is it ok if I eat with u all

Bebe: of course puttar is that even a thing to say ...shweta take avni's plate downstairs and I'll bring her

Shweta:ji bebe

Meanwhile shweta had got the table arranged and was placing the plates on the table.

Prakash  came and sat down

Prakash: shweta ji u gave avni her food.

Shweta:I did go up but she said she will eat with all of us.

Prakash: that's good...

Shweta was putting some food on the plate when prakash noticed and before he could ask he got the answer when shweta spoke.

Shweta: suresh (worker) go and give this to neil in his room

Suresh nodded and took the plate from shweta.

Shweta looked at prakash who smiled at her

Prakash: u did the right thing shweta ji... it's best if Neil is kept away from avni... shweta nodded.

Meanwhile suresh reached to Neil's room and knocked on the door

Neil: come in he said...as suresh walked inside the room neil turned to look at suresh and then continued changing the channels about

Suresh: sir ji dinner he said.

Neil: I'm coming down u go he said not noticing the plate in suresh hand

Suresh: sir ji madam sent food for u upstairs...neil looked at suresh and then at the plate in his hand

Neil: y? Has my room turned into a mini dining area where I should have my food he said

Suresh looked down not answering

Neil : leave the plate on the table and go.

Suresh nodded and left after few sec.

Neil got up and sat in front of the coffee table

Neil: how long will my family try to keep me away from avni...one day she will be alone and will have to come to me or more likely me going to her  he said smirking.

Back to the dining table

Bebe walked down with avni and as she reached to the dining table she saw prakash there too with shweta

Shweta : avni beta come and sit

Avni nodded and sat down while shweta came and sat next to avni while bebe sat opposite her.

Prakash: avni beta please feel comfortable and consider this as your own house.. just ignore neil as if he doesnt exist and also if Neil tries to misbehave do let us know

Avni:ji she said with a small smile.

Shweta took out some chole for everyone and served them paratha too.

Bebe:avni puttar u can continue living your life the way u do as we wont have any problem with that.

Avni:so I can go to the office tomorrow ?

Bebe: haan puttar u can we have no objection and also u would get busy too while working 

Avni:thank u she said.

Shweta:with this Way neil wont be around that much

Avni:but we have to work on a project together

Prakash:u dont worry about that whatever the discussion is I will be there in that room and I wont leave u alone with him whenever u have to discuss with him

Avni: ok she said touched at how Neil's own family is making efforts to keep him away from her.

Once dinner was done all were going to their room when shweta stopped avni

Shweta: avni

Avni:haan aunty

Shweta:beta do lock the door from inside if it's any of us we will knock and speak so that u know

Avni nodded and said her goodnight

As she reached to her room she was about to close the door when she saw neil standing on the other side with arms folded....avni closed the door ignoring him and locked it.

She took her phone and called on riya phone.

At the metha mansion all were in the hall while neela had told ali to take a  sameer  who became silent after avni had left

The hall was completely quite with all sitting still and not moving at all....suddenly riya phone rang...she picked it up when the name on the screen caught her attention.

Riya: avni she said loudly catching her the others attention. All moved near to riya

Dayawanti: answer it quickly riya

Neela:put it on loud speaker

Riya nodded and answered the phone.

Avni:hello ?

Ashish: bacha how r u ?

Avni:I'm ok papa...

Neela:u r telling the truth na bacha ... has neil tried to force u

Avni: no maa he couldn't as his family is against him and stood as a shield for me.

Neela:pakka na

Avni: haan ma pakka... since I have been here they have taken care of me properly  .

Dayawanti: thank god but beta be careful I cant trust that neil at all

Avni:I will be... acha did u all eat ?

Riya : r u mad ?how can we ?

Avni: y?

Neela: bacha all this happening to u...how can we digest  food

Avni: maa I know what happened wasnt right but u cant stay without eating for that long na...even I ate with everyone.

Ashish:everyone as in neil too?

Avni: no papa he wasnt there... it was only me and his family...and I really would prefer if u all eat too.

Dayawanti: beta we r not Hungry

Avni: hungry or not I dont care u will have to eat....aman, Riya u both make sure all eat including u both too

The family smiled seen avni love and concern and trying to be normal despite whatever happened

Ashish: how can we refuse u avni...we will surely eat

Avni:promise ?

Neela:promise she said smiling

Avni smiled and then the smile disappeared

Avni:  how is sameer? Where is he ?.

Riya:he became quite after u left .. we told ali to take him  and stay with sam as staying over here will not make him any better

Avni:u did right...acha u all eat now I'm actually tired and want to sleep before I actually get a headache.

The metha family said goodnight to avni and ended the call while avni felt a little relaxed after speaking to her family. 

The next morning avni had woken up early to get ready for office and see ashish..she got up from the bed and did a quick prayer before heading to have a shower

Meanwhile in the kitchen shweta was boiling milk while she was lost in a deep thought not realising that milk was about to overflow.

Bebe who walked into the kitchen saw the milk and quickly rushed towards the gas to turn it off

Bebe: shweta where was your mind... the milk was about to overflow she said brining shweta back to reality

Shweta:sorry Bebe I didnt notice.

Bebe noticed something odd and turned shweta to face her

Bebe:what happend shweta?

Shweta: nothing bebe she said about to turn but bebe stopped her

Bebe:dont lie to me and tell me .

Shweta looked at bebe and then walked to the small table in the kitchen and sat down while bebw followed her and stood beside her waiting for shweta to speak

Shweta: bebe cant things be normal with us ? Cant my son be happy?

Bebe: shweta? What happened? Y all this thoughts right now? she asked  placing her hand on shweta head

Shweta looked at bebe as her eyes started to wellup.

Shweta: sometimes I feel we should lose the hope that Neil will change and sometimes I feel he will become like the old Neil one day...but now whatever happened I feel we have lost neil

Bebe: no puttar we haven't lost neil...he is still somewhere there in this arrogant neil... and we will keep that hope that neil will change one day .

On the other side avni had gotten ready and was heading downstairs

Back to the kitchen

shweta: our neil was never like this bebe... he wasnt she said crying while bebe hugged shweta controlling her own tears

Bebe: shhhh Dont cry shweta

Shweta:Its all my fault I got so busy in my life that i didnt see what my son was going through and due to that he completely changed

At this point avni had reached outside the kitchen but stopped when she heard shweta say  this

Bebe:its not your fault puttar it's our fault too...  and I am extremely sorry for whatever happened...and I seriously wont forgive maddy she said.

Avni (to herself) : what was shweta aunty talking about? What happened that neil changed?...who is maddy?...avni wondered but then decided to not think about it as it was about neil and thought it must be something that he must have done

Avni walked into the kitchen while shweta quickly turned around and wiped her tears and bebe smiled at avni

Bebe: morning puttar

Avni:morning bebe,  morning shweta aunty

Shweta: morning beta

Bebe:puttar y did u wake up this early

Avni: woh actually to go office

Shweta: no worries what time will u leave.

Avni: is it ok if I leave in a bit.. as I want to meet sameer before going to the office

Bebe: ok puttar..and take the driver with u

Avni: ji bebe

Shweta: beta go and sit at the dining table I'll bring bread and coffee for u..avni nodded while bebe took avni out.

An hour later avni reached to sam house...she rang the door bell and ali opened the door

Ali who was a little sleepy was wide awake seen avni

Ali:avni ? U here? Is everything ok? he said moving in and allowed avni to come in while he closed the door

Avni: I'm ok ali and everything is ok for now but  where is sam ? How is he ?

Ali:he is sleeping...after telling him so many times he finally slept ...and tbh sam hasn't spoken a word after u left to go with the khanna family

Avni nodded and walked towards sam room with ali...she opened the door and saw sam sleeping peacefully and didnt want to disturb him.

Avni:ali do one thing when sam wakes up please give me a call and also do tell him that I came and would come to see him tomorrow.

Ali:ok..but where r u going now ?

Avni:office...the khanna family r very supportive..

Ali: chalo at least they r supportive 

Avni: ali I'll leave now and thank u for staying with sam

Ali: come on yaar avni we r friends and also sam is my friend too. Avni nodded and hugged ali and left from there

Meanwhile at the khanna mansion.

Neil woke up and did his workout and then got ready...as he left his room... he purposely walked to the other side to walk past avni room when he steps slowed down seen the door open.. neil looked around and then went inside and scanned the room when he noticed the mangalsutra on the dressing table resting anyhow ...he then walked towards the washroom and turned the door knob to find it open

Neil: where did avni go leaving the door open like this ? Maybe she is downstairs.

Neil reached downstairs in a bit when he noticed his family at the dining table except avni

Neil: morning he said sitting down but looked at everyone when he didnt get a response from his family as they ate their breakfast without saying anything

Bebe: sunny pick up avni later on and bring her home.

Prakash: ji bebe

Neil: where did she go ?

Shweta: that u dont need to worry about she said to neil seriously.

Neil: I do have the rights to know

Shweta: not at all neil she said getting angry

Bebe: shweta..stop puttar there is no need to answer Neil's questions.

Neil looked at his family annoyingly and left from there.

At the metha office

Avni finally reached to the office and headed inside...she was greeted by many and greeted them back with a smile and asked the receptionist if ashish had arrived who told her yes....without waiting any sec avni went to ashish cabin

Avni: papa she said opening ashish cabin door.

Ashish who was standing near the window looking out turned around when he heard avni voice

Ashish:avni he said happily feeling  peaceful seen her in front of him

Both walked towards each other and hugged 

Ashish: u dont know how happy I am to see u he said trying to stop his tears and kissed her forehead

Avni: I know papa... it feels like I'm home seen u in front of me

Ashish : but u didnt tell me u was coming here avni he said breaking the hug

Avni:I wanted to surprise u and papa i seriously dont want u all to worry I'll be here working and also prakash uncle, shweta aunty and bebe r very supporting and caring that I feel comfortable around them.

Ashish:I'm happy that u have them otherwise wonder what that neil would have done to u

Avni: papa let's not talk about this.. when I'm with u I dont want the mention of that guy at all.

Ashish:wont u come home?

Avni:I will papa but some other time but office is going to be every day that's a promise

Ashish smiled and hugged her again

After a while ashish went to avni cabin

Ashish:bacha

Avni: haan papa she said looking up from the file she was reading

Ashish: I'm going to meet prakash to discuss about how we will handle about that business deal

Avni: papa I had spoken to prakash uncle he said he will make sure to be there too when ever there will be a discussion about the project

Ashish: that is fine but I'll go and see him and discuss how and when we will do this as that project will need to start and also thank him

Avni: ok she said while ashish nodded and left

An hour later at the khanna office

Prakash was in his cabin lost in thoughts thinking about whatever happened recently he rubbed his eyes with his fingers when his eyes landed on the photo frame on the table...

Prakash leaned forward and picked up the photo frame while his hands caressed a 11 year old neil in the pic who was holding a trophy with prakash.

Prakash: destiny is so cruel that your life changed completely and u became someone who stopped valuing other people feelings, many relationships... I wish if we could go back in time and bring back our neil who got lost he said

Flashback scene

It was sports day and prakash, shweta and bebe had come to cheer for neil.

Neil was running really fast and was the first in line when his competitor who was behind him reached near neil and barge into Neil making him lose his balance and fall on the ground

Neil looked up to see his competitor running forward giving him a victory smile.

Prakash : run neil run he said shouting

Neil got up and started to run when he heard someone shout in pain

Neil turned around to see one of his class mates holding on to his ankle ..without wasting any time neil got up to help him and took him to the side when medical team came for his aid..

Neil looked at his parents in the crowd who were proud of him and with a silent prayer neil started to run with all his strength

His competitor turned around when he heard many people cheering Neil's name and saw Neil catching up and few mins later neil went past him and reached the finishing line making his parents and many people in the crowd proud

Neil was then called up to collect his award

Judge:, congratulation Neil and I must salute u for your courage that u helped your friend who was hurt and still u managed to reach the finishing line

Neil:thank u sir..my parents have always taught me to help others and here I am he said while all clapped

Prakash came on the stage and hugged neil while shweta took their pics of both holding the trophy

End of flashback

Prakash was in tears while still looking at the pic that he didnt notice his cabin door open

Ashish walked in to see prakash looking at a photo frame in his hand as he reached near he saw a tear role down prakash cheeks and he went and stood near him to look at what frame it was

Ashish:prakash? U ok? Y r u crying?

Prakash looked at ashish and then at the frame

Prakash: u see this boy ashish...that is neil..  son of mine... neil has become something else but believe me he was never like this ashish...do u feel we would raise our son and let him be spoilt?....neil was a bright boy ashish until...

Ashish: until ? Until what he asked curiously

Prakash:until we slowly started to lose our son with what happened and he became like this

Ashish: what r u saying prakash tell me clearly

Prakash looked at ashish and got up while ashish was waiting for him to speak

After a while ashish left prakash office and was heading to his car lost in thoughts... the recent incident of Neil's behaviour played in ashish mind and how neil didnt care when he was caught after marrying avni  and how his attitude was  along with followe by information that prakash gave him... ashish reached near his car and slowly got in not knowing if he should be angry with neil or forgive him due to y he became like that

Phew so here it is.curious na as to what happened to neil
