Sameer went out to call the Pandit ji.

Pandit: namaste  neela beta

Sameer:Pandit ji it's me sameer 

Pandit:sameer beta

Sameer:Pandit ji I need a favour from u

Pandit:haan bolo

Sameer:Pandit ji neela aunty wants u to come over to fix my marriage date with avni but we want u to tell the family that the most suitable date for this wedding is in 3 days

Pandit:but beta a suitable date comes by checking the kundali

Sameer:I know Pandit ji but please for me and avni please help us.. u have known us since childhood and u would know we wouldnt take any decision like this

Pandit:but beta

Sameer:please Pandit ji only u can help us we somehow convinced the family to get us married please

Pandit ji thought for a while

Sameer:we r doing this for our well being only Pandit ji.. u know we wouldnt take a decision like this without a reason

Pandit: ok beta.. if it's the wellbeing for you both I agree then but I will make sure to do a pooja so that all good happens during and after the wedding

Sameer:thank u Pandit ji he said

End of the flashback

The metha family looked at the Pandit ji

Pandit: the suitable date is after 3 days otherwise the next one will be after a year

Ashish:means we have to work extra hard and get things started straight away

Neela :well avni and sameer want to get married soon and their happiness is ours

Dayawanti:yes.. it will be loads of work but we will enjoy it

Pandit:however I would like to keep a pooja for avni and sameer so that things go well

Dayawanti:that is fine

Meanwhile In Delhi as the servant placed Neil's luggage in the room he closed the door and tried to call the guy who was keeping an eye on avni

Neil :y isnt this guy answering my phone I have to tell him to keep an eye on avni but no his phone is unreachable at the wrong time he said angrily

He tries to call few more times but still was unsuccessful

At the metha mansion all were hell busy as the wedding was in 3 days  and they had to get all functions done in two days..neela was getting all those functions sorted and was deciding what time the functions will be held while dayawanti and ashish were calling close guest to attend the function and then invite the rest of the guest at the wedding and reception ...whereas sameer was filling riya with what happend and avni had made a call to shweta telling her what happened

It was decided that the engagement will be held at evening  itself calling few close family and friends

Meanwhile at the Khanna mansion

Bebe:I'm surprised as to how avni and her friend r getting married in 3 days..I mean it's so quick na

Prakash:haan maa it is and they have invited us for the engagement tonight

Bebe:yea we will go and surely give our blessing.. both look good together

Prakash:u r right bebe

Bebe nodded and then looked at shweta.

Bebe:oye madam madonna y r u quite right now

Shweta:woh nothing bebe..just thinking what will i wear in the engagement function

Bebe:le ...wear anything nice..plus chal we need to get something for them it's not good to go empty hand

Shweta:ji bebe...prakash ji we will come back soon 

Prakash nodded while bebe and shweta left

Things were busy at the metha mansion..avni last min outfit was bought by riya.. while the jewellery seller was called home so that avni and sameer could choose their ring straight away...decorators had come to do simple decoration for the engamgent.

It was around 4pm when Riya helped avni to get ready and then went to get ready herself

Avni looked at herself in the mirror and tried to smile...she was smiling but she wasnt happy...

Avni:what am I doing? Should we even be doing this just because of Neil... would he stop after me and sameer r married..maybe be will... no no no.. y r u even thinking about that freak avni...sameer is your happiness the person who u will be married too and u should only think about him not someone like Neil

She took a deep breath few times to calm her heartbeat

Few guests had arrived and after few mins Khanna family arrived

The metha family greeted them

Dayawanti:thank u for coming we really appreciate it

Bebe: how can we not come...avni is also like our daughter so of course we will be here to take part in her happiness

Prakash:but ashish wedding in 3 days isnt it too early

Ashish:it is prakash but sameer and avni wanted to get married and also Pandit ji said this is the earliest date otherwise the next one is after a year..and if our kids wanted it to be asap how can we say no .

Prakash:that's true but even we will help to take in part dont worry about the catering  I will manage that

Ashish :thank u dost

Prakash:yaar u call me your friend and also thank me not done

Ashsih smiled and moved to hug prakash while shweta looked on with a nervous smile and prayed that all the functions and wedding goes smoothly

Riya had gone to bring avni down while Ali was standing next to sameer

Ali:Sam

Sameer: hmm

Ali:tell me one thing

Sameer:kya ?

Ali:how comes engagement and all so suddenly.. I mean u both were never in a rush right

Sameer didnt know what to say to Ali as he knew if Ali got to know about what avni had gone through and what neil said then he would be angry as he is really protective about avni

Sameer:woh u know na how I had been waiting  for her answer to be always an yes  since childhood and  now when we r together I cant delay it anymore.. I love her and want to keep her happy all the time and I'm glad she didnt say no when I proposed...the Pandit ji said this is the earliest date as I couldnt wait for 1 year more after she said yes

Ali:yaar sameer that is ok to think like that but u know na avni wont leave u if she had said yes to u

Sameer:I know bur u know na I have been waiting for her since childhood and this heart couldnt wait any more longer

Ali:hayee kya pyar hai he said happy for his friend believing every word

Whereas sameer felt guilty to lying to him but at the same time he did mean it as he wanted to give avni all the love and happiness..

There was only few guest...riya had bought avni down...her family was in aweee seen how beautiful their daughter looked but there was something missing which they were not able to figure out whereas neela felt avni was happy but not fully happy

As riya made her stand next to sameer...she and sameer looked at each other..he slowly smiled back at her while she returned it.

Neela passed on the ring to avni who made sameer wear it...Ali then gave the ring to sameer and made her wear it...while all clapped

They took blessing of the metha family...avni and sameer looked at shweta and nodded slightly at her 

Avni and sameer were made to dance with each other...

Sameer:r u happy

Avni: r u ?

Sameer:I dont know.. i mean i had planned loads of things for our wedding..but if this is the way we r supposed to get married then I dont mind because i am still going to get married to the person who I love 

Avni: sameer dont love me too much sometimes it makes me feel...sameer stopped her from speaking

Sameer:shh u dont have to accept me straight away.. I can wait for u avni..if I can wait for all those years then I can wait now too ...avni smiled slowly yet she wasnt able to know her own feelings well and she just prayed that she can start loving sameer the way he loves her.

At night avni was in her room sitting on the window sill  ...neela came in and sat next to her giving her coffee

Neela:tired? she asked

Avni:sort of she said taking few sips of her coffee

Neela:bacha is there something bothering u?..r u happy?

Avni looked at neela

Avni:haan maa I'm fine.. I am happy what made u think like that she said plastering a smile on her face

Neela:I dont know y but it feels like there is something there that is bothering u... u r smiling but it isnt reaching your eyes

Avni:maa it's nothing like that.. I'm happy but just nervous u know I mean all of this decided by me and sameer so quickly...and if I wasnt happy y would I say yes to sameer

Neela looked at sameer she yet didnt know y ...but felt as if avni is hiding something

Neela:if u r ever uncertain about anything let us know ok

Avni knodded with a warm smile

Neela:chalo get some rest as tommrow its mendhi function... hmm

Avni hugged Neela while she left from there.

The next day in Delhi

Neil woke up when his phone started to ring ..

Neil:hello he said sleepily..when after few mins he eyes shot open and he sat on the bed

Neil:u better not be joking with me

Person:no sir I'm not...your family even attended the function yesterday...I asked one of the guest... they had said the wedding is in 3 days..make it as 2 days now

Neil cut the call... he was angry...he got up from his bed and started to throw each item on the floor

Neil:no no no this cant happen avni cant marry I wont allow that to happen....he was about to pack his bag when suddenly he recalled shweta words

Flashback
Shweta:tommorow u r going  to Delhi for a business deal that prakash ji was  handling but now u will and  u will stay there until it's not complete

Neil:I'm not going anywhere

Shweta :oh yes u r dont make me tell bebe and prakash  what their son was trying to do because they will feel nothing but  ashamed of u she spat out bitterly

End of flashback

Neil sat on bis bed annoyingly recalling shweta words..he had to do something but what and how was the question
