116. Technical Difficulties Part 2

*Not quite as good as part 1, but still mildly entertaining I guess*

Bucky:

It's not often that one gets to see a super soldier running around like the White Rabbit, because they're late. When it does happen though it does become quite the show. This particular summer morning Bucky had a meeting with Steve and the rest of the team, but unfortunately had not taken the early meeting time into account when setting his alarm. This of course meant that he slept later than he was supposed to and caused a very stressful rushed morning.

You felt bad as you watched him run around the apartment that morning. He ate breakfast faster than you had previously thought was possible, and then bolted into your room to find clean clothes. He then showered at an incredible speed as well, but then came the real problem. The only down side to his long hair that was that it didn't dry fast and now he had only a little while left before he absolutely had to leave and soaking wet hair. He came jogging down the hall to you, still rubbing his hair with a towel

"Hey babe, where's your hair dryer and can I borrow it? Pretty please?" He tried faking a smile but it was still pretty obvious.

"Absolutely, it's the bottom right hand drawer of the vanity."

"Oh, thank you!" You could here the gratitude in his voice as he ran back in the direction of the bedroom. However, that was not the end to your husband's troubles that day. In the midst of rushing Bucky decided to use the hair dryer right there in the bedroom, and since it was summer there was of course an air conditioner in the bedroom window. Fun fact about air conditioners and hair dryers, together they are the perfect recipe for a blown fuse. Something you immediately remembered when you suddenly heard the noise from the dryer cut out and Bucky curse loudly. You got up and headed for the bedroom where you found Bucky staring despondently at the dryer.

"I blew the fuse." He said sadly.

"Yeah, I think you did." You said as you cringed a bit, feeling quite bad for him at the moment. You sighed a bit before deciding you had to just move on. "Alright, no time to worry about this. I will deal with the fuse and such, you get dressed and you can just pull your hair back." As you spoke you grabbed clothes for him and a hair tie. You took the dryer from his hands and replaced it with the clothes.

"Thanks, doll." He leaned over to kiss you on the forehead, before he headed off to change. A few minutes later he jogged past you again headed for the front door. "Sorry, to rush off but I've got to go, see you later."

"Just one more thing, Bucky." You said as he stood there in front of the half open door.

"Yeah." He responded and you pointed down at the fact that he was standing there in his boxers.

"Pants." He huffed a little exasperatedly before running back to put on pants, then he dashed out the door, finally off for the day.

Pietro:

There are lot of wonderful things about the building that the two of you live in. Most of them have to do with the fact that all of the apartments have been renovated and modernized even though the building itself was on the older side. The biggest downside though was without a doubt the elevator. To be completely honest you are surprised that it was still running and that it somehow passed it's annual inspection. The two of you generally avoided taking the elevator unless you had a lot to carry, and even then you would occasionally let Pietro run the stuff upstairs to avoid the elevator.

Today though, you had made the mistake of taking the elevator up. A mistake which you came to recognize somewhere between the 3rd and 4th floor when the elevator of doom came to a sudden stop. There was a moment of hesitation, before you did the usual thing and try pushing a few buttons, including the emergency call button.

"So what do we do now?" Pietro asked you.

"I don't know, you're the one with super powers." You responded, in a rather snappy manner, due to your increasing nervousness. Pietro noticed that had started shaking slightly and put down the bags he was holding so that he could wrap his arms around you.

"Hey, don't worry. We're going to be fine, help has been called and stuff like this happens all the time and it turns out perfectly okay." You turned to look at him, his arms still holding you, and you smirked at him.

"And when, my dear, has this happened to you before?" You asked sarcastically.

"Well, never, but I watch a lot of comedies." Both of you laughed at his response. "Also, I wanted you to worry less." He added before placing a kiss on your cheek.

"Thank you, and I probably should have been so worried in the first place. I mean, you could probably get us out of here if it get's worse, right?" He smiled at you.

"Of course I could." He said with an exaggerated scoff.

"Good to know, and I do feel better. That being said, we are never getting in this elevator ever again." The words in context may have sounded like a joke, but your tone was definitely  serious, you were never going to get stuck in that elevator again.

"Understood, princessa." Pietro gave you another kiss on the cheek and just as he did you two heard the sound of help arriving.

Natasha:

You and Nat were on vacation together at your cabin in Maine, enjoying a relaxing few weeks away from the rest of the world when a nasty storm blew into town. The day had started out pretty mild, with a bit of drizzle and overcast skies. However, on your way home from the grocery store that evening the skies opened up and you re-discovered the meaning of the term "raining cats and dogs." When you two pulled up to the cabin you both looked at each other before grabbing the, thankfully, very light load of grocery bags before running for your lives into the cabin. When you made it inside you started to shake off some of the excess water and Nat reached for light switch, but unfortunately the lights did not turn on when she flipped the switch.

"Well, it appears that we have no light." She stated dryly.

"Okay, how about I head downstairs?" You turned your phone's flashlight on as you spoke. "I can see if it's just a blown fuse or if we're S.O.L. for the night."

"Alright, while you do that I'll put the groceries in the pantry." She added taking the two bags you had in your hands. You started to make your way over to the basement stairs as Nat headed to the kitchen and called out. "Careful on the basement stairs." You laughed a little at how cute her concern was.

"You got it!" You called back as you started down the, admittedly very old and creepy, staircase. You then went to check the fuse box only to find that the problem was in fact a problem within the house and you were going to be without power for the night. You made your way back upstairs to the kitchen. "I hate to be the bearer of bad news but-"

"We're shit out of luck." Nat finished your sentence for you. You leaned on the counter and nodded.

"Yes, we are." You said trying to be positive, but very clearly not excited about the prospect of a night without heat or light. Nat, on the other, was actually pretty content with the possibility. She smiled a little bit before stepping closer to you and wrapping her arms around your waist. This caused you to raise an eyebrow at her, which only made her smile even more.

"You know, this isn't necessarily something a bad thing." She leaned in and lifted her hand up so that she could take a small lock of your hair and twirl it around her finger. "You know we could start a fire and put some blankets down so that we could cuddle by it." She may have said cuddle but her tone implied that she had other ideas in  mind, and you were all for it.

"You get the kindling, I'll grab the blankets."
