Thunder- Loki

Of course you weren't afraid of Thunder. That, would be ridiculous.

You just really, really disliked it. Like, a lot.

It didn't help that you were a naturally shy jumpy person. Every time you heard a clap of thunder, you jumped, fully aware of the science behind it. Your B/F/N had explained it hoping to dissolve the fear, but no such luck for you.

Working late at the café during a thunderstorm really made you hate your boss. Not only were you working late, when you had to come in early tomorrow, you had to listen to how loud the thunder got when someone opened the door.

Not to mention the annoyance that you got when they only came in to dry off. At least buy something people!!!

"Hello mortal. I require sustenance and I'm not sure what poison Midgard likes to feed its people. Perhaps you can assist me?" Raising an eyebrow, you looked at the stranger. He had black hair that went to his shoulders, piercing green eyes, and he was wearing a simple black suit with a green tie.

"Excuse me? We don't sell--." A clap of thunder sounded, which sounded even louder thanks to the idiots who had the door open.

Didn't they know you were afraid of thunder?

When you jumped, you noticed the stranger before you flinched as well.

"You don't like thunder either?" You asked, hoping the man would answer honestly. He shook his head.

"Of course not, you foolish mortal girl!! I'm just....not overly fond of what follows." You frowned in confusion.

"Lighting?" He scoffed.

"Never mind. Just give me these pastries my dear brother was pattering on about." The frown still on your face, you reached down to the display.

"You want cinnamon, peppermint or strawberry?" Seeing the blank look on his face, you chuckled.

"I suggest the strawberry. It's a popular flavor and it tastes good. Peppermint so pretty good too."

"Well then. I shall test this theory." Handing him the pastries, you tried not to flinch at another sound of thunder.

"Don't fear the thunder darling. Fear what follows." The man said simply, walking over to a lone table and sitting down. Confused by what he meant by that, you were even more confused on how the man was completely soaked to the bone in water, and why he seemed so sure that something other than lighting came after the thunder.
