Two days ago, Kai came home so late and he has been so secretive. He kept hinting about the proposal all day by telling me that I have to marry him no matter what, that my ring finger is so plain without a ring and lots of other hints.

He kept going away and he kept telling me that he's not cheating so I don't need to worry about it.

Now, I'm currently with Elise in Paris. I'm going to introduce her to Mario. Mario didn't know about this, he thought he will be seeing Thalia.

I feel bad for Mario, I think he really like Thalia but she took him for granted.

"So she wants me to meet the guy who technically falls in love with her?" Elise asked and I nodded.

"She won't regret this right?" She raised her eyebrows.

"I hope so. I don't know why she.. hates him so much." I said and Elise chuckled. Someone knocked on the door and it opened revealing Mario. His eyes widen when he saw the both of us instead of Thalia.

"Come in." I said as I got up from my seat. I turned to Mario who looked at us suspiciously.

"Mario, this is Elise. Elise, this is Mario. I bet you two saw each other before in some occasion." I said and Mario put his hand in front of him. Elise took it and I saw Elise took an interest in him right away.

Thalia, you're a dumb bitch.

As soon as he sat down and started the conversation, they both seemed to be interested in each other. Elise is pretty similar to Thalia so if Mario took an interest in her, it would make sense.

"Are you free this Friday? I'm going to my friend's art exhibition, do you like art?"

"I'm certainly free, and yes.. I love art." She said and Elise turned to me giving me a wink. Shit, she really like him.

"Great, can I have your number? I'll pick you up at 6?" Mario asked as he gave her his phone. Elise typed her phone number in and she gave it back.

I excused myself to go to the toilet and called Thalia.

"Hello, how's the.. meeting?" Thalia asked excitedly.

"It went so well, they're going to an art gallery this Friday." I said in a sarcastic tone and there's a pause from Thalia.

"You're an idiot, Thalia. They both really took an interest in each other."

"That's great." She said without any emotion.

"You really sure that you want to push this man away? You need to think twice." I said and Thalia sighed.

"I have work, I'll call you later. You don't need to update me anything about it." She ended the call and I sighed. I went back to the private room and the foor already came.

"Is everything okay?" Elise asked.

"Yeah." I smiled.

"Tell Thalia, thank you for introducing me to Elise." Mario said as he smiled to Elise.

"I will."

After that dinner, Elise got into Mario's car because they're going to his newly opened cafe. I decided not to tell Thalia more about Elise and Mario. She's big girl, she can handle her own feelings.

My phone rang and it's Kai.

"Hey babe."

"Hey, where are you?" He asked.

"I just finished meeting my friend, Elise."

"Hmmm.." He said in a really weird tone.

"What?"

"You were with that guy.." He said and that's when I started looking around. I sighed when I saw Kai standing glaring at me.

"Are you serious?" I hissed.

"I'm kidding.. no I'm serious." He said as he smiled and then gave me a serious face again.

"Kai."

"I know.. I know.." He said as he walked to me.

"I hate you."

"I miss you." He smiled as he gave me a big and tight hug. I chuckled and gave him a kiss on his cheek.

"I thought you can't fly here.."

"I know I was busy.." He said smirking and I raised my eyebrows.

"Busy as in trying to-" He covered my mouth preventing me to say something about the proposal.

"I want to take you somewhere." He said and I nodded. He led me to the car and drove me to the hotel near the Eiffel Tower called Balzac. It has the best view of the Eiffel Tower and he led me inside.

He already got the room key and he closed my eyes when we arrived at the 6th floor. He led me to a room and he asked me to keep my eyes close. I could feel the cold breeze on my skin.

"Open your eyes." He said and he showed me the beautiful Eiffel Tower. This hotel has the perfect view and I turned to Kai who already stood beside me.

"Last time when we're here, you told me to.. not contact you again." He chuckled as he looked straight to the Eiffel Tower.

"Hmmm." I did.

"You told me that you want someone serious, now I want to claim that title. I want to be serious with you.. for life." He said as he grabbed my hands. I turned to him and he smiled.

"Deandra Serano." He said as he caressed my cheek with his thumb.

"Hmm?" He took out a black velvet box and opened it. He got on one knee and I felt like I was dreaming. I might already said yes a few days ago but this is the real proposal from Kai.

"Deandra Serano, you are the best thing that has ever happened in my entire life. I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I know I still have a lot of flaws but I promise you that I will be a better person. Please marry me because I need you in my life, to be my wife and to be the mother of my kids." He said as he looked at me straight into my eyes.

"Kai." I called him and he raised his eyebrows.

"Yes! I'll marry you!" I said and he blinked his eyes a few times before realizing that I said yes. He grabbed my hand and put the ring on my ring finger. He hugged me so tightly that I patted him to release me.

"Sorry.. I got over excited." He said as he pulled away.

"You better give me a kiss or else.." He crashed his lips to mine.
