''I will dispose off all criminals!!'' ''Goddammit Eren, just shut up'' The Teacher slams on her table with a ruler. Eren flinches and sits down. ''You will never get good grades like that! especially in detention'' the teacher sighs and sits down. the few people who are there chuckle soft, but when Mikasa turns to them with a deathly glare they all shut up.

''The teacher doesn't understand a thing! i was only correcting her mistake'' Eren sulks as he walks out with Mikasa. ''No, you were wrong Eren and you kept on insisting it was false'' mikasa says without changing her voice. ''But you can translate it otherwise to'' Eren mocks. Mikasa just sighs and keeps walking next to him. 

this was one of the usual things, Mikasa is one of the top students, but gets detention a lot. the reason is Eren. She promised her foster mother (Eren's mother) that she will take care of him. she will, because she was saved by Eren. She won't forget it, ever.

Mikasa and Eren are in the first grade of high school. Eren's mother was murdered while a robbery. Mikasa and Eren now live together alone in one appartement. you think it's heaven for Eren? then you are wrong, Mikasa is more like a mother then a sister, or potential lover.

While Mikasa and Eren walk home together with armin. no one knows what he actually is, female or male, but never mind that for now. While they are walking home Levi Rivaille the student council president is cleaning his office while talking to Erwin, the teacher and advicer of the council. 

''Levi, we need to do something about Eren, he keeps getting into trouble and brings our top-student Mikasa with him'' Erwin states. Levi looks up from cleaning with his usually cold look, ''I will take care of it'' he answers as he returns to cleaning. Erwin looks content. He knows if Levi says something he will keep his word... at least if he doesn't have his own ideas.

What Erwin doesn't know, is that Levi keeps Eren in his sight, always. even now he is looking out the corner of his eye out of the window. looking at the complaining Eren. He is interested in him. he is not abnormal. not at all if something was abnormal it would be his number of how many detentions he had to go to.

still. something about him sparks the interest of the always serious and hard to read Levi Rivaille. and now, he has a reason to approach his interest.
