*Annamarie's POV*

"BREAKING NEWS: The serial killer known as 'Bloodyface' has been captured and taken to the insane asylum, Briarcliff Manor. Bloodyface's real name is Luke Hemmings. He has killed over twenty people and skinned them. He would use the skins to make things for around his house. He will stay in the asylum until death because of his twenty murders."

The news blasted through the small radio in my cell. I stayed there most of the day, only let out during eating and to walk around in the main room. I sometimes got to get out to help work in the bakery as well. I was in Briarcliff Manor. I was nineteen at the time, and most people didn't know my story.

I heard the clicking of the doors opening to my wing of cells. I looked out my window to see the guards with a guy who looked to be around my age. Beautiful blonde hair, blue eyes like the sea, and fair skin- it wasn't quite pale, yet it wasn't even close to tan. They opened the large cell door right across from me.

"Luke," the guards ordered, pointing into the pitch black cell, "go."

He walked into the cell sulkily, and the door was closed and locked on him. He looked out the small window with the bars, the same one I was looking out of in my cell. I could see his face, and he could see mine.

"What do you want?" He instantly asked.

"So you killed twenty people and skinned them?" I asked disgustedly.

"No! Definitely not! I would never do something like that. My best friend was one that was taken away."

"Oh," I looked down.

"I don't know if they killed him or not. They think it was me, because we had a fight before he left my house."

"What was the fight about?"

"Well.. We're in this small band called 5 Seconds of Summer, and I told him I wanted to sign to a certain record, but he disagreed. Enough said."

"Okay.. I'm Annamarie, by the way," I smiled. He huffed.

"Okay."

I walked away from the window and sat on my rock-hard bed. I waited until it was dinner time. I didn't know what to think of Luke.. He was.. different?
