It had been around 15 minutes since we left, the sky was hazy grey with streams of sunshine that panned down onto our faces and the palm trees tranquilised our minds in awe. It was mid-day and so far Noah and I were having a good time. He had turned up the radio whilst I opened a pack of my favourite Kurkure chips, I chucked it clumsily in my mouth crunching as loud as possible when I turned to Noah... his face was uncertain to the sound yet he quickly took a glance at me raising his eyebrow in curiosity...

"Its Aanya and her weird chippies Krumkurea," he smiled chuckling when all of a sudden he started to gag in laughter yet in confusion as I stuffed a large piece of spicy Kurkure into his annoying mouth.

"Shit! Aanya! Crikey in living dead biscuits - for the love of lambs-", he choked upon in frustration yet giggled hysterically.

"That's right punk! That's what ya get when ya mess with me -" the both of us laughing our ass' off though the next thing I knew, we halted to the stop at the road signal.

"I got you good this time didn't I, you should have seen your cute little face all gobbed up aha-," instantly my cheeks began to feel hot, was I blushing, oh god I can't believe I called him cute, ah shitalking mushrooms dammit, I just looked away shyly, in embarrassment, for a second it was just the two of us in a so called awkward silence.
All of a sudden Noah turned to face me, our eyes locked instantly into a deep focus, he scrunched his eyebrows intact with each other, a devilish yet cute grin smirked upon his face as he moved towards me, our eyes still connected in a constant fix when he slowly gestured his hand towards mine grabbing it gently, fiddling his thumb upon it -

"You think I'm cute huh," he smiled the most genuine smile that I had ever seen before, still blushing I looked beyond the window screen staring ahead at the view... unable to respond I whispered under my breath,
"Uh, maybe -" before I could complete my sentence... I was drawn closer to face two big green hazel eyes, it glistened as the sunlight had hit it. Noah was staring quite intently as he gazed into my eyes, before I knew it a soft kiss was planted against my lips. I was in utter shock, as I just gazed back at him in wonder, my insides were turning inside out, I couldn't believe what  had just happened.

After that Noah and I sat in the utmost awkward silence, I felt my face melting timidly, I wanted to give him a squeeze or tell him I felt the same way... that's when the signal light had turned green, the car began to stir into motion once again though the silence was surprisingly not cut off. We kept on driving, now on a dirt road  opening towards a forest ... I kept on staring out the window, Noah's concealment was unbearable, did he regret kissing me, giving up hope I decided to end the awkwardness once and for all.
"Noah, umm... can we talk about what happened -" though I was taken back a mile into the distance with nothing but complete sadness that hurt.
"Look Aanya, what I just did was a mistake..." his voice was shaky yet quite sturn...

"Wait what .. what do you mean? I thought  you liked me isn't that why you~"

"It was just the heat of moment! Look I lov-
You're my best friend, we can't do what we just did it's wr..rong.."

Hurt. Complete bitterness and regret, what was wrong with him... a minute ago he was so sweet, his genuine smile rested upon my thoughts, but now he seemed so distant, the way he spoke was so unlike and distort. It was as if the past few seconds did not happen and just as I had thought he utterly regreted it..

Now I knew that it wasn't meant to be, that he only thought of me as a friend, but why friend zone me if he bloody  fricken kissed me. It all seemed rather strange that was going no where but down hill.

For the next few minutes, tears were seeping underneath my eyes. I couldn't help it, the sudden change was unbearing. Once again, the stillness was surrounding in an uneasy pattern... the peace and tranquility was parted ... it was just the rustle of the autumn leaves.
Looking at Noah, I could tell he was quite focused upon the road ahead, his eyes were fixed... hands were a tight grip upon the steering wheel, I waited for the slight change of emotion, a laugh, a 'i gotta ya, it was a prank' .... nothing...

I stared out the window ... only to see a bright light that shone at me... I looked away only to see... A sign? .... that read ... I WARNED YOU, LEAVE BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE ....

The same words once again, 'leave' ... but why
I was completely horrified, I felt uneasy, sick inside.
"Noah, can we please stop the car, I feel weird~"
"No Aanya why would I do that, we are already half way there, just hold on okay. Jeez."
There it was again, his sudden cut off towards me, he didn't even care to ask if I was okay, how strange.

"Please Noah, I feel scared, this place is creeping me out- the sign said... that -"

"No we need to keep going... we can't LEAVE.." his tone was husky and abscurely monotone.
I was completely stunned by his words, yet it was already creepy when he said we 'cant leave'. I turned to face Noah, his eyes were locked upon the path ahead... dead straight , he was shaking cold....

Following his gaze... I saw the one thing that resembled me perfectly, me? Again standing on the dirt road getting closer and closer... She (me) was  staring right at us,  how strange... walking in a quivered stagger... and our car was heading straight for her...

Within a second, I started to breath heavily as no words came out of my mouth, Noah all of a sudden crashed his feet onto the brakes though it was no use, she was getting closer...

"NOAH!" Was all I could say... before Noah swerved the car to the right, losing control... then just like in the movies everything began to go in slow motion... you know like a black and white film...
Though everything was flying in the air, before I knew it we were hit by something that had set us flying...

I closed my eyes ...  instantly flashes of Noah and I had appeared before me, it was the moments we spent together, happy and laughing... when I thought to myself ... is this it... is this where I die and everyone that I love die with it.

I could hear, Noah screaming in the background "Stay still and brace yourself".
But it was no use...

My body felt numb and consumed, the whole day felt like one large experiment where this very moment... was a limitation out of control.... my body was shivering, getting number then ....

Silence, thump, repeat....

Then all was a blur.. before I fell forwards, the glass shattering before me....

Next thing I knew, everything was pitch black....

A/N : Sorry for the late update guys, just have been really busy studying for exams and stuff. But hope ya like this chapter :)
Will be updating again sometime this week... most likely since I have exams I will only update after it but ... enjoy.
