Antonio's POV
To say I'm not happy right now with my life would be a damn lie.

I have this amazing, gorgeous, beautiful woman, who's going to be by my side as my future wife and mother of our kids.

I'm so proud of her the way she handled Rachel verbally instead of being physical with her, let me just call Raven an intellectual badass.

She's everything a man will ever want and need in his life and I'm very happy that she gave me a chance to prove to her that I will be the right man for her.

Late on last night after I went to Raven's restaurant to take her out for one of our weekly dates.

I got a phone call from one of my friends that I lost contact with a few years ago telling me she's in the hospital and wanted to tell me something important before she passes.

She begged and apologized to me about her leaving without any form of contact years ago and it's one of her last wishes to see me and she will tell me the other wish when I get to the hospital she's been staying at.

I decided to go due to the fact that Angela has always been like a sister to me and she's the one that helped me catch Rachel cheating on me and showed me the evidence of it but I turned a blind eye to that.

She disappeared years ago and it left me and Luke in complete shock, because Luke was madly in love with her.

But the fear of losing their their friendship made stopped him from confessing his feelings.

I did nothing to help because I wanted both of them to figure it out themselves.

I arrived at the hospital. I walked up to the receptionist.

"Hello good morning" I spoke to the receptionist who was busy typing on her phone and chewing her gum loudly.

She looked up and her eyes widen then she turned around looking for something and she pulled out her mirror and something that looked like a makeup bag and started adding more makeup to her already caked up face.

I was utterly disgusted, now hospitals are hiring unprofessional employees to work?

"Hello, I'm here for Angela Wallace" I announced to the receptionist who busied herself with adding bold red lipstick on her thin lips.

I was getting seriously getting annoyed then I slammed my hands on the desk to finally get the receptionist attention.

She finally finished her bullshit and turned around with a clearly fake smile and lipstick on her teeth.

"Hello May I help you with something sir?" She seductively asked me battling her false lashes and biting her lips to look sexy and she had the audacity to act like she didn't just make me wait 5 fucking minutes!

"I would like to know where Angela Wallace and your superior's office are located" The receptionist's eyes widen when I said hospital director she knows she's getting fired today.

"I'm not telling you anything" The receptionist yelled out getting the attention of a few nurses and patients so I decided to walk to the other Receptionist once she finished attending to the person she was assisting.

Once, I got my answers, I walked past the rude receptionist smirking.

I finally got to Angela room and I knocked before walking in.

I almost shed a tear when I saw the state Angela was in she looked dead but very much still alive barely hanging onto it.

"Hey Angela, how are you feeling? I awkwardly smiled and walked towards her bed to give her a hug.

She tiredly pulled away, her beautiful face sunken, her skin lost it's usual glow.

"Hi Antonio it's been like what 5 to 6 years since I've last seen you" Angela spoke hoarsely.

"You look good" I said nothing.

"Antonio you are probably wondering why I wanted to see you again and tell you that I'm dying" She smiled weakly before continuing.

"I have Brain Tumor and I need your help it's my last wish before I go and I know that you are the right person to fulfill it" Angela grabs my hands in her shaky frail ones.

"You know I will do anything for you" I honestly told her.

"5 years ago, I was walking home late at night after my work shift and was grabbed by someone and got brutally raped and left to die" I felt angered surge through my whole being.

"Angela, I'm so sorry" I don't even know why I'm apologizing.

"Shh don't say sorry it wasn't your fault nor was it mine, continuing I got pregnant. First, I was sad and happy because I'm going to be a mother but I didn't know what to do. So, after 9 months I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl Amelia." She stopped to wipe her tears.

"Then I quickly fell into depression because I have no other family members and my parents cut me off and didn't want any contact with me after telling them I was pregnant and was going to keep it. I was so devastated and felt lost. That's why I decided to give my daughter up for adoption so she could find a better stable family to love and take care of her because I knew I wouldn't be able to do it, I never abandoned my daughter after leaving her at the orphanage, I always visited her until 7 months ago I went to my monthly medical checkup and I found out that had stage 2 Brain cancer and the Tumor was rapidly growing and I have less than a year left." This is all too overwhelming, I was so close to having a grudge on her now o understand her reasons for leaving so suddenly.

"Overall what I wanted to say is that Antonio will you please get my daughter out of that orphanage and give her a real home and love and take care of her like she's yours and I heard from Luke the other day, Raven the girl you always talked so much about is now your Fiancée. I'm happy for you, Antonio" Her speech got slower and it sounded like she was out of breath.

"Yes, I will take care of Amelia and raise her to be a wonderful person just like her mother. You have my word" I vowed and Angela mustered up the remaining strength she had pulling me into a very tight hug with tears on her face.

"Thank you so much for everything Antonio, now I can finally rest" Angela eyes slowly started to droop and her heartbeat was slowing down then it went dead a minute later.

A single tear slide down my cheek once the doctor and nurses rushed into her room.

I got up from her chair beside her bed and made my way to my next destination.

But before I left the hospital I made sure to give the receptionist's supervisor a visit
