Chapter Fourty One.

You have to work together!

The students and teachers had made their way to a campsite, which wasn't a long walk for them. Once they got there, Korosensei gave everyone a tent to set up with their partners, which they would have to share.

While the students were attempting to work together on setting up the tents, the teachers were gathering wood. Korosensei was the only teacher who didn't go collect wood. He was told to stay and keep an eye on the children. Akita and Karma were the first ones done.

"Wow. They sure do work fast." Nagisa said as he looked at the two sadists, who were now trying to attack Korosensei.

"Y-yeah. Urm... I think I've done this knot wrong." Yuzuru spoke up nervously. Nagisa looked at the female and noticed she had tied the knot wrong.

"Ah, let me help." Nagisa spoke as he rushed over to the pinkette. Tomohito and Saika were silent while putting up their tent. They were both blushing as they wrapped the knots around the pegs, not making eye contact. Just as Saika finished tying her part, the knot fell undone and her part of the tent fell down. Saika squeaked while Tomohito laughed slightly.

"Yeah. Like you're doing any better." She pouted while looking at the male. Tomohito finished his part of the tent and it fell down like Saika's. Saika then giggled while Tomohito pouted.

"At least let me do something!" Ryoma exclaimed. Saika and Tomohito looked at the raging male and saw he was forced to sit down while Amaya set the tent up by herself.

"You'll probably break something." Amaya stated as she tied the third knot around the third peg, soon making her way to the fourth peg.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Ryoma exclaimed, a vein popping out of his head as he clenched his fists as annoyance filled the male.

"Whatever you want it to mean." Amaya responded with a blank expression. Ryoma had several veins popping out as his fist shook slightly.

"There. Done." Manami spoke up as she looked at Akashi.

"Same here." Akashi grinned. As the two stood up and looked at each other, the tent instantly fell back down, which caused the two to flinch back.

"Ack!" The two exclaimed, but then they hung their heads with a gloomy aura surrounding them

"It seems they're having some trouble." Megu said as she looked at the two.

"Yeah. That happened last time Akashi tried to put up a tent." Hiedo stated blankly as he tightly tied a knot on his side of the tent.

"Well. This is all done." Megu stated as she stood up, her side of the net all done perfectly.

"Yeah." Hiedo said as he stood up as well.

"Urm, like this?" Rio asked as she tied the knot and looked at Ai who was watching her.

"Do you want me to do it?" Ai asked with a sigh, noticing how she's done the knot wrong.

"I'm not helpess you know! Just tell me how to do it and I'll do it!" Rio exclaimed. Ai just sighed again. "Stop sighing!" Rio exclaimed with an annoyed look on her face.

"She's getting a little stressed out." Yuma said with nervous sweat running down his face as he watched the blonde and short male argue.

"It can be hard to work with Ai. He's so independent." Aina explained with a little smile resting on her face.

"So he's not used to working with people?" Yuma questioned. Aina nodded her head.

"Even when we work in groups for projects, he somehow manages to convince Erina-Sensei to let him work on his own, and if he's not allowed, he'll only work with Hiedo or Ayato." Aina explained.

"A-are you sure you don't want me to help?" Yukiko asked nervously as Katsu set up the tent. Yuma and Aina looked at the pair.

"Yeah. Could you just pass me a peg?" Katsu asked as he looked at Yukiko. He spoke with a monotoned voice and showed no sigh of emotion on his face.

"H-hai." Yukiko said with a sigh as she passed Katsu a peg. Katsu then continued to set up the tent. Yukiko released another sigh before looking at the others.

"You really don't let the girl do anything, huh?" Hinano asked with a pout as she placed her hands on her hips. She was looking at the instructions and when she looked up, Ayato had already set the tent up.

"A-ah! Sorry! I'm just used to it!" Ayato stated as he scratched the back of his head.

"It's fine." Hinano sighed. "Just let me help next time!" Hinano ordered as she puffed her cheeks out.

"I-I will! Promise!" Ayato said as he flinched back.

"Where does this go?" Toka asked, looking at a pole and then looking back at the tent.

"Oh, it goes in here." Akito said as he held the tent. He put his hand out for the pole and Toka passed him it. Akito then inserted the pole into the tent.

"You know quite a bit about this huh?" Toka asked as she admired the male.

"Our uncle sometimes takes us camping when he's visiting." Akito explained, a small smile resting on his face.

"I see. Sounds fun." Toka said, a smile forming on her face.

"Yeah. It is." Akito spoke, looking at the brunette with a grin.

"Could you throw me the rope?" Ichirin asked as she looked at Ryunosuke. She was sat on a tree branch, above hers and Ryunosuke's nicely built tent. Ryunosuke threw a rope to her and Ichirin caught it. "Thanks!" She smiled as she tied the rope around the tree, just above the branch. She double knotted it. Ichirin then jumped down.

"So what is the rope for?" Ryunosuke questioned as he looked up at he tree.

"I have an idea for tomorrow." Ichirin smiled.

"There. That should do it." Itona said. The tent he and Maemi built stood there for maybe 10 seconds before falling to the ground. The two sighed, hanging their heads.

"Poor things." Izayoi said as she looked at Itona and Maemi.

"They're good with technology, but not old school stuff." Koki said with sweat running down his head.

"Wow. You really can make a trap." Hayato said to Sumire. Sumire was sat, making a net, while Hayato finished making the tent.

"Thanks." Sumire smiled up at the male. "And you can really make a tent." Sumire added as she looked at a net Hayato was making with rope.

"Heh. Thanks." Hayato said, scratching the back of his head.

"Wow. You drew that?" Suiko gasped. Her and Sōsuke were sat outside their tent, looking at each other's sketch books.

"Yeah. I'm still learning." Sōsuke said as he scratched the back of his neck.

"It's amazing!" Suiko gasped, a sparkle in her eye as she admired the drawing in her hands.

"No, that doesn't go there..." Oki spoke up, which caused Suiko and Sōsuke to look at the female. They saw Oki in the middle of a pile of poles and the tent. Masayoshi was watching with sweat running down his cheek. Oki then looked at the instructions and then looked back at the poles. Oki then crossed her arms and pouted. "Why don't they make these things easy?!" She exclaimed.

"Urm, I could try if you let me look at the instructions..." Masayoshi spoke up nervously.

"Wow. We finally finished." Hiroto said as he wiped sweat away from his face.

"I hate making the tents." Mel sighed. Oki finally scrunched up the paper and threw it near a tree with another pout. Jasmine and Taisei were building their tent in silence. They seemed to be doing well it together without a sweat. They passed each other the things they needed, and if they noticed one of them had done something wrong, they spoke up. It was like they were insinc.

"How are they doing that without talking?" Akihito asked as he put a poll in the tent. Kirara shrugged.

"Ow!" Takuya exclaimed. The two looked and saw Aria had veins popping out. She had just smacked him across the back of the head with the instructions.

"You're doing it all wrong! Just move out of the way!" Aria ordered as he eyebrow began to twitch.

"F-fine! You didn't have to hit me!" Takuya exclaimed, his eyebrow twitching as he moved out of the way. Aria just rolled her eyes as she took over.

"Such an abusive relationship." Hunter sniggered as he looked at he two while sitting outside his well made tent.

"Shut it dog!" Aria ordered with a vein popping out of her head as she glared at the male.

"Call me that again! I dare you!" Hunter exclaimed as he clenched his fists, veins popping out of his head.

"Can you not argue?" Kaede asked with a sigh. She was sat beside Hunter with her knees to her chest. She had flicked the males ear to keep him in check. Yuzuru told her if he was to start shouting or anything, just flick his ear and he stops.

"That was pretty easy." Mayuko said as she looked at the tent, a smile resting on her face. Kōtaro then nodded as he pushed his glasses up, a sparkle coming out of his glasses.

"Ow!" Akio exclaimed as he held his hand, a slight cry resting on his face.

"What's wrong?" Rinka asked as she put the peg in the ground with a hammer before looking up at Akio.

"I just hit my hand with the hammer." Akio said, crying slightly. Rinka had a blank expression as sweat ran down her face. Rei giggled as she watched Aria and Takuya while sitting outside the tent she and Taiga had put up. Aria and Takuya were arguing about the tent once more.

"Huh? What's so funny?" Taiga asked as he exited the tent, looking at the giggling blonde.

"Just Aria and Takuya. Don't they look cute together~?" Rei asked as she looked at the male with a smile.

"They're arguing though..." Taiga stated as he looked at the two.

"Don't everyone in a relationship argue?" Rei asked with a shrug.

"Good point." Taiga said.

"That took longer than I expected it to." Yuzuki sighed as she looked at the tent.

"Same here, but at least we're finally done." Yuudai responded..

"Oh. I see most of you have done." Korosensei spoke up. Everyone looked at the male and saw the other four teachers had returned with wood in their arms.

"Why did you give us these dumb ass instructions?!" Oki exclaimed as she picked up the instructions she threw and threw it at Korosensei, who just simply dodged it. He then ran around all the tents that weren't set up and within an instant, they were made.

"Could you have done that with your speed?" Korosensei asked with a grin and green stripes around his head.

"I could if I knew what to do!" Oki exclaimed as she waved her arms around.

"Sunset's upon us. We better get this fire started before it gets dark." Tristan said as he looked at the colourful sky.

"Yeah. It'll be dark before we know it. Kids, get some wood and make a fire for you and your partner." Karasuma said.

"I can't work with this idiot!" Aria exclaimed as she pointed at Takuya, several veins popping out of her head.

"I can't work with this control freak!" Takuya exclaimed as he pointed at Aria, veins popping out of his head.

"Can you not get along with anyone Aria?" Jasmine asked as she looked at her best friend blankly.. Aria just huffed as she turned her back to everyone.

"I can only get along with people I like." She stated as she an annoyed look appeared on her face.

"Aw. That means she likes us Jas." Akihito said.

"Shut your trap!" Aria exclaimed as she turned around and pointed at the male, who had his tongue sticking out at the side.

"Why do I have to be cousins with a tsundere?" Ichirin asked with a sigh as she and Ryunosuke went to collect some wood.

"I'm not a tsundere!" Aria exclaimed as she clenched her fists.

"You are too~!" Ichirin spoke. Aria looked like she was about to blow, however she simply turned around and stormed off into the woods.

"Aria!" Erina shouted as she went to chase after the teen, however Irina graves the teachers arm gently.

"She might need some time alone." Irina stated with a serious look on her face. Erina sighed before looking at Takuya.

"Takuya. As her partner, if she's not here before dark, go find her." Erina said, placing her hand on her hip.

"Me?!" Takuya exclaimed with annoyance.

"Yes!" Erina shouted, making the blonde flinch back.

"Ah~! Aunt is getting mad. You better do as she says." Ichirin said in a giggle.

"Now that all the drama is settled, how about you kids get on with the fires?" Tristan stated as he folded his arms. The pairs all got up and got some wood. They then went back to their tents and began to set up their fire.

"Well this should be easy." Karma said as he examined the wood to make sure it was all useable for a fire. Akita nodded in agreement.

"Yikes." Yuzuru squeaked as she threw the matches to Nagisa.

"Huh?" He questioned, blinking slightly before looking up at the frightened Yuzuru. He then smiled slightly. "Not good with fire?"

"I always burn myself." Yuzuru sighed as she placed her hands over her face which was slowly turning red.

"Here ok?" Tomohito asked as he looked at Saika while holding the wood.

"Mhm. Perfect." Saika smiled at the male. Tomohito placed the wood down and the two arranged it perfect and then Tomohito walked off to get some matches from the sensei's.

"Don't touch." Amaya said as she pushed Ryoma to sit down before walking back to the wood.

"What?! Why?!" Ryoma exclaimed as he looked at Amaya.

"You'll probably touch the fire." She said. Ryoma had another vein pop out.

"They're arguing again? They're probably worse than what Aria and Takuya just did." Akashi sighed.

"There we go." Manami said as she set the fire. Akashi flinched back.

"I turned around for a second! Ninja!" He exclaimed and Manami giggled.

"This should do." Megu said as hers and Hiedo's fire was set. Megu put her hands out to warm them. Hiedo nodded.

"Are you cold?" He asked.

"Just my hands." Megu said.

"H-hey! Be careful! Try not to put me on fire!" Ai exclaimed as he flinched back.

"One water incidient and you think I'm going to put you on fire?" Rio asked with a blank expression as she held the burning match.

"Just set the fire please!" Ai said, still slightly frightened.

"I've never seen Ai scared before." Aina said.

"Really?" Yuma questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"He usually tries to keep his composure." Aina said in a giggle.

"I could have helped a little..." Yukiko spoke with a sigh.

"I've got it." Katsu stated as he set the fire. Yuma and Aina watched the two and had sweat run down their faces.

"Is this ok?" Ayato questioned as he held the wood in his arms while looking at Hinano.

"Too close to the tent. Go back a little." Hinano stated. Ayato nodded and walked back, but then he ended up tripping over his own feet and fell back.

"Gah!" The male exclaimed as he hit the ground, holding the wood tightly.

"A-Ayato, are you ok?!" Hinano gasped as she ran to the male, leaning down beside him.

"Yeah." Ayato said as he scratched the back of his neck, a nervous laugh leaving his lips. Akito laughed.

"He's a guy of many talents Hinano-San, but walking backwards he cannot do." Akito stated as he placed the wood he and Toka had down. Ayato sighed as he hung his head.

"I can't help it. I'm clumsy..."

"The fire is so nice." Ichirin said as she placed her hands near the fire, warning her hands up. Ryunosuke nodded as he sat beside the female, looking at the fire.

"You really don't know how to set a fire?" Itona questioned as he stared at the female who had placed the wood with Itona, but was looking at the matches cautiously.

"I do... I just... Don't know what part to set on fire..." Maemi mumbled. Itona chuckled quietly before taking the matches and setting the fire himself.

"Can I say something without you getting offended?" Koki questioned, a nervous look on his face. Izayoi was setting up the fire, but stopped and looked at the male.

"You can try." Izayoi stated with a blank expression.

"For a rich kid, you sure know how to set a fire." Koki stated, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"Not all rich kids are your stereotypical snobs who don't go outside." Izayoi stated as she looked back at the wood. "I used to camp in my garden whenever I had a fight with my dad so I had to learn." Izayoi stated as she continued to set the fire.

"Ah, I'm sorry if I offended you." Koki stated with a sigh leaving his lips.

"So warm ~" Sumire said happily as she sat by the fire she and Hayato had finished. Hayato smiled and nodded his head before going into the tent.

"There!" Sōsuke said. Sumire looked over at him and Hayato poked his head out of the tent, curiosity filling him. Their jaws dropped when they saw the fire he made. Sōsuke had set the wood to look like Korosensei's face.

"Amazing!" Suiko gasped as she clapped with a sparkle surrounding her. Sōsuke grinned as he set the wood on fire.

"Gah!" Korosensei cried. Erina and Irina sniggered behind him. "Sōsuke! Why?!"

"That sure was creative." Oki gasped as she stared at the two, a sparkle in her eyes.

"Yeah, urm, this wood isn't setting fire." Masayoshi said. He had a match on the wood. The wind then blew it out.

"Are you doing this?!" Oki exclaimed, pointing at the currently crying Korosensei.

"Why would you accuse me of such things?!" Korosensei cried as he flinched back.

"Try setting the wood differently. Like this." Melody said, showing what her and Hiroto did.

"Oh. Thanks Mel!" Oki said. Hiroto then set the wood on fire.

"Ah, the heat is nice." Mel said as she sat back.

"I know right?" Hiroto replied as he went back to sit down.

"This wood won't work..." Jasmine said, examining the wood she had in her hand.

"It won't?" Taisai questioned, a nervous sweat running down his cheek. Jasmine shook her head and looked at the male with a serious look on her face.

"It's moist. If we put this with the rest, the fire won't work." Jasmine said as she put the wood down. "Are the rest ok?" She asked.

"Ah, yeah. It seems ok!" Taisei said. "How did she manage to spot that one piece of wood out of all of this?"

"Alright then, let's set the fire." Jasmine said.

"Right." Taisei nodded in agreement.

"Damn. If we all had a group fire I could so have freaked everyone out." Akihito said.

"There's always the old flashlight trick. We can go to their tents when everyone goes to bed and scare them." Kirara said.

"I like the way you think!" Akihito grinned. Takuya was trying to put the wood together, but it kept falling a part. Just as it fell apart, he was expected to be hit, but then he remembered Aria stormed off.

Takuya sighed as he shook his head. He finally managed to get the wood together, but as he tried to set the wood on fire, the wind blew past and put it out. Takuya got frustrated and threw the matches at a tree.

"What did that tree ever do to you?" Hunter asked as he and Kaede finished putting their fire on. Takuya just huffed.

"You should fine Aria-San, Muramatsu-San." Mayuko said as she and Kōtaro finished setting up their fire. Takuya huffed again.

"Aria was the best at setting fire on the last trip." Akio said as he moved some wood. "Ow! Splinter!"

"Do you always injure youself?" Rinka questioned with nervous sweat running down her face.

"We are supposed to work in teams. Also, it's fun watching you two argue." Rei smiled as she sat by the fire with Taiga.

"Rei!" Yuudai exclaimed.

"She's probably long gone anyway!" Takuya said.

"She'll be by a lake or something." Jasmine said.

"Yeah. That's where she went last time isn't it?" Akihito asked.

"Yeah. Water surprisingly calms her down." Ichirin explained.

"Alright. Alright." Takuya said as he got up while picking up a torch. He then walked off through the woods. He looked at the ground and saw footprints.

Takuya followed the footprints through the woods, but they soon stopped. He looked around and saw some trees with foot prints on them.

"How did footprints get on here?" Takuya questioned as he touched the foot prints. He then realized that the foot prints were on mud on the trees. Takuya followed the foot prints on the trees, which lead him to a very large boulder. He looked and saw pink hair flying at the top of the boulder. "Hey Aria." Takuya said. No response. "Aria!" He shouted. No response. "Aria! Answer me!" Takuya shouted louder. Takuya couldn't see the pink hair anymore. He then saw Aria poke her head out and saw her frown.

"What do you want?" She asked. Takuya sighed.

"I need your help." He sighed.

"Oh? I thought you could do it on your own!" Aria exclaimed.

"Do it right!" Aria exclaimed as she smacked him.

"I am doing it right!" Takuya exclaimed as he rubbed his head.

"It'll fall apart as soon as you let it go!" Aria exclaimed.

"No it won't! I can do this on my own you know!" Takuya exclaimed.

Takuya groaned when he realized it will not be easy to get Aria to come back.

"So, if you can do it on your own, you can run along now!" Aria said. Takuya looked at Aria who moved away. Takuya walked to the boulder and began to climb it, but then he slipped.

"Gah!" He exclaimed as he fell to the ground. Aria poked her head out again.

"What are you doing?" She asked. Takuya back up again and tried to climb the boulder, but he fell again. Aria sighed. "You are so helpless." She said. "Just give up already~!" Aria said. Takuya frowned at her, which made her blink. "Heh? You're determined to get up here?" She asked. Takuya got up again and tried to climb the boulder, but he fell again. Aria sighed. "People are so helpless on their own." She said as she watched Takuya try to climb again. Just as he was about to fall, Aria grabbed his arm. Takuya looked up at her. "Why are you trying to get up here? You'll just injure yourself." She said.

"I'm trying to talk to you." Takuya said.

"Heh? Why would you want to do that?" Aria asked as she let him go and grabbed his arm again. Takuya was slightly frightened. Aria laughed. "See? I'm a bad person~! Why would you want to talk to me~?" Aria asked.

"And who told you you're a bad person?" Takuya asked as he looked at Aria, frowning.

"Huh?" Aria questioned, blinking slightly.

"Can you pull me up now?! It hurts falling ya know!" Takuya said. Just as he was about to slip from Aria's grip, Aria pulled him up with both her hands. Takuya got on the boulder and sighed in relief. "You just helped me, which showed you're a good person." Takuya smirked.

"S-shut up!" Aria exclaimed as she turned her back to him.

"Urm..." Takuya said.

"What?" Aria asked, still not facing him.

"Sorry..." Takuya said. Aria's eyes went wide. "I shouldn't have said I could do it on my own when I can't. Can you please come back?" He asked.

"Yeah... Sure..." Aria said.

"That was easier than I thought." Takuya said. Aria stretched her arms. She then yawned and rubbed her eyes. Takuya looked at her.

"Man. Today was a long day." She sighed.

"S-she actually looks cute!" Takuya thought.

"What are you staring at?" Aria asked as she raised an eyebrow.

"N-nothing!" Takuya said as he looked away.

"Ok... Let's go then." Aria sighed as she got up. She walked to a tree branch and walked on the branch. She then began to climb down the tree. After, Aria looked at Takuya.

"You coming or not?" Aria asked.

"Ah, yeah!" Takuya said as he jumped off the boulder. Once he landed, the two walked back to the camp.

"Err, is this the right way?" Takuya asked.

"Why do you think I left foot prints?" Aria asked.

"Good point..." Takuya said.
