September 22nd

  The weekend flew by quickly and, to many of the students dismay, it was soon Monday again. E-Class had just arrived outside the Phoenix Academy. As they all walked off the bus, they saw Saika running through the gates while crying slightly.

  "Whaaa! Sui leave me alone!"

  "C'mon Saika! Don't run from it!" Suiko shouted as she chased after Saika with a paper bag in her arms.

  "Sui! Sai! Slow down!" Mayu cried as she chased after the two girls.

"What's going on over there?" Nagisa asked with a raised eyebrow as he and Tomohito watched the two girls run. Tomohito had sweat run down his face and lines appear under his eyes.

  "Guess we'll find out when we get to class." Tomohito said. They then heard whispers. The class looked and saw Akita walking through the gates. Many of the guys whispered about her and some of the girls looked at her in disgust, however, she did not show any sign of being bothered by anything. Just before she was about to go through the trees, three nerdy looking boys stopped her.

  "Goddess Akita! We worship you!" The leader said as they all got to their knees and bowed. Akita sighed, cringing slightly as she walked pass the three, speaking coldly.

  "That's nice, now get lost."

  "Her coldness fills me with joy!" One of the nerds said as he got up, hugging himself. "Her beauty strikes an arrow through my heart!" Another nerd said as he got up. "Her cold glare sends shivers down my spine!" The leader said as he got up. Class-E sweat dropped as they saw the nerds.

To the classroom...

  "Sai-Chan~! Come on!" Suiko called as she chased Saika around the classroom. As E Class arrived, they stopped at the door and watched the two females, sweat running down their faces as the two ran past them. Once the path was clear, the students walked in.

  "What's with them?" Rio questioned, laughing slightly as she raised an eyebrow while looking at Aina. Aina giggled slightly.

   "Sui-Chan wants Sai-Chan to be part of her photoshoot." Aina explained as she watched the two girls. Just then, Yuzuru and Maemi walked through the classroom. Yuzuru was smiling as Maemi spoke. Saika then hid behind the two, making them stop their conversation and looked forward in confusion when they spotted Suiko running towards them. Suiko stopped running once she was in front of the girls.

  "Take them! I don't wanna be in the shoot." Saika cried. A sparkle appeared in Suiko's eyes while lines appeared under Maemi's.

  "I feel betrayed Sai-Chan!" Yuzuru cried with tears forming in her eyes.

  "Mae-Chan, Yuzu-Chan, what do you-"

  "No. Don't ask me again." Maemi said blankly before walking away from the group. Everyone stared at the group, unsure on what to make of what just happened. Suiko stiffened with tears forming her eyes. Akito and Taiga were holding in their laughter with many of the other students.

  "H-hai." Suiko said stiffly.

A little while later...

"Nani?!" The class exclaimed. All the teachers were at the front of the class. Tristan had written on the board 'Forest Survival Camping Trip'.

"Why so sudden?" Yuma asked in confusion as he looked at the teachers.

  "We taught Class-R to adapt to any environment they come across in, however, it seems Class-E has not yet obtained that skill, so tomorrow, after school, we will be leaving to go to a forest outside of the city. We will be staying there for as long as it takes for E-Class to adapt." Tristan explained.

"Those who fail will be taken back to the forest. That is why most of the class weren't here when you first came. They failed so Tristan took them back." Erina explained.

"Why do we need to do this?" Rio asked with a sigh as she rested her head on the palm of her hand, listening in boredom. "A true assassin can adapt to any environment," Ichirin explained to the blonde. "Exactly. You must assassinate your teacher before March 13th. To do so, you must get ready to have a battle in a place you have never been before." Erina explained.

"You make it sound so terrifying," Korosensei said. Erina then rolled her eyes. "Did you just roll your eyes at me?!" Korosensei cried.

"So we have to go again why?" Aria asked.

"It would be easier. You will all be going in pairs. A student from R-Class will be leading those in E-Class." Erina said. "We've left the pair decision to the alien." Erina explained as she gritted her teeth. She seemed pained at the end of her sentence as she looked away with a shadow covering her eyes and a vein popping out. "Did you lose a bet?" Ichirin asked. Erina didn't reply and the entire class sweat dropped. Even the teachers.

"Perfect. The alien is deciding. Anything else?" Akihito asked.

"Yes." Korosensei said. "While in the forest, you will all be enemies starting from Day 2!" Korosensei said. "What?!" Everyone exclaimed.

"He's actually come up with some good training. Each pair must try and eliminate the others. On the first night, we will all set up camp as a group. You will be told who you will be paired with then, that night you must sleep in the same tent as your partner. It will be like this until we leave the forest. When you're out, you will be found by one of us and brought back to the main camp." Karasuma explained.

"How long will this game last for?" Nagisa asked with lines appearing under his eyes. He was not excited for who Korosensei was planning on pairing together.

"From three days to a week." Irina said.

"Nani?!" Everyone exclaimed.

"7 days minimum is what we'll allow for you to be out alone. We will occasionally check up on you. For 7 days, you must survive on your own with your partner." Tristan explained. Nagisa looked at Korosensei's face and saw it was pink.

"Don't tell me he's planning something..." Nagisa thought as he looked at Korosensei with a sigh leaving his lips.

The next day after school... September 23rd

Everyone left school and came back in their normal clothes with camping bags. They were all sat outside the school gates, waiting for Korosensei. It was still bright outside, so they had plenty of light to have for when they arrived at the forest. After 10 minutes of waiting, Korosensei finally returned with a very, very, very large bag. It was bigger than Karasuma.

"Is that necessary?" Erina asked.

"Why yes. Of cause it is." Korosensei said.

"Let's just get on the bus." Karasuma said. They all got on the bus and sat in pairs. The bus journey felt long for the students due to some of them being excited. After awhile, Tristan, who was driving, stopped.

"What's wrong?" Erina asked.

"The road we go on is blocked up." Tristan said. They all looked out of the windows and saw construction happening on the road.

"Looks like we'll have to park here and go by path." Tristan said. Everyone got off the bus. E-Class's eyes went wide when they saw a beautiful lake next to a very large forest.

"Can't we just go that way?" Ichirin asked as she pointed at boulders in the water, acting as stepping stones. "Not everyone can balance on them." Erina stated as she folded her arms while looking at her niece. "It would be good training Erina-Nee." Irina said. Ichirin had a sparkle appear in her eyes as she looked at Irina. Erina then sighed and nodded her head while placing her hand on her face.

"Alright. Fine. But if anyone falls in, you're responsible Irina."

"Ok." Irina said. "Yes!" Ichirin cheered. She then ran to the lake. "Ichi! Wait up!" Oki shouted as she ran slowly (normal speed to everyone else) to Ichirin with Izayoi and Suiko.

"These girls aren't normal." Sōsuke said. Soon, everyone had started to go across the lake by the boulders. So far no one has fallen in the lak-SPASH!

"Ah!"

"Eke!" Rio squeaked as she fell into the water. She had managed to drag Ai in with him.

"Are you two ok?" Hiedo asked as he stopped going across the boulders and looked back at his friend and the blonde. Ai sighed before looking at Rio.

"Why did you take me down with you?" Ai asked.

"For the fun of it?" Rio grinned. Ai sighed once again.

. . .

Soon, everyone had gotten across the lake just fine, except for Ai and Rio, who had to go behind bushes to change into dry clothes. They were all stood in their classes while Erina took the register for Class-R and Karasuma took the register for Class-E.

"Alright. No one's wondered off here." Erina said.

"Same here." Karasuma said. Ai then came out of the bush in clean clothes. His hair was still quite damp though.

"You alright Ai?" Hiedo asked.

"Yeah." Ai said with a sigh. Rio then came out of her bush with clean clothes. Her hair was also still damp.

"Now everyone is here, I will be telling you whom I have put you with." Korosensei said.

"It better be decent or I'm killing his ass." Aria said.

"And if that was possible, he'd be dead already and we wouldn't be doing this." Jasmine stated.

"Karma and Akita!" Korosensei said.

"We're dead with them two as a team!" Saika exclaimed. Yuzuru sighed.

"This won't go well. 1 Akita I might be able to handle but Akita with a sadist." Yuzuru sighed.

"Yuzuru and Nagisa!" Korosensei said.

"Kuroko and Satsuki!" Akito laughed.

"A-Akito!" Yuzuru exclaimed while Nagisa sighed with a blush on his cheeks.

"Saika and Tomohito!"

"Oooooooooooh!" The entire class said, which caused the two to blush.

"Amaya and Ryoma!"

"You've put me with some girl on mute?!" Ryoma exclaimed at Korosensei.

"I'm with a complete idiot." Amaya sighed.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Ryoma exclaimed.

"It means whatever you want." Amaya shrugged.

"Akashi and Manami!"

"Because that's totally not random." Akashi said.

"I'm not good at combat! Sorry!" Manami said with a bow.

"Heh?! Neither am I! We're so dead!" Akashi exclaimed and Manami squeaked.

"Two weaklings in one. That should be easy." Aria said.

"Hey!" Akashi exclaimed.

"Hiedo and Megu!"

"You any good at combat?" Megu asked. Hiedo nodded.

"You?" He asked.

"A little. I'm better at taking charge though." Megu said.

"Just make plans and tell me them then." Hiedo said.

"Alright then." Megu smiled.

"Ai and Rio!"

"Say what now?" Ai asked with a blank expression.

"Well, you're stuck with me." Rio grinned.

"Just don't push me into anymore rivers or lakes." Ai said with a sigh.

"Aina and Yuma!"

"Are you ok to do this with your heart?" Yuma asked.

"Mhm! I'm fine. I can do plenty. Don't worry about me." Aina said with a closed eyed smile.

"Are you sure? I don't want you to get hurt." Yuma said.

"I'm sure. We're not in a small room so I'm fine." Aina said.

"She's growing up so fast. She's already talking to boys." Akashi said. Aina went stiff as a light shadow covered her eyes.

"I never thought that would happen." Katsu said. Aina turned her head to them.

"You two better be careful~! Last time I checked, you two fell for every trap last time~!" Aina said. The two boys went stiff while Yuma stood there awkwardly.

"Katsu and Yukiko!"

"Aw~! Katsu~! You have to look after a girl~!" Aina said.

"S-shut up." Katsu said as sweat ran down his face.

"I'll try my best!" Yukiko said.

"I will t-to..." Katsu said as he stepped away from Yukiko slightly.

"Ayato and Hinano!"

"Lucky you. You'll be protected at all times." Suiko said.

"Huh?"

"Last time j was put with Ayato." Rei said.

"Did it turn out ok?" Hinano asked.

"He wouldn't let me do anything." Rei said as she hung her head.

"H-hey! I let you track people! That's your speciality!" Ayato said.

"But that's it. You didn't let me fight!" Rei cried.

"See? Protection 24/7." Suiko said.

"Akito and Toka!"

"Unfortunate soul. Working with a perv." Suiko said.

"Actually, we get along just fine." Toka said with a smile.

"Heh?!" Suiko exclaimed as she flinched back.

"Why is that surprising?" Akito asked.

"Ichirin and Ryunosuke!"

"Am I the only one to notice how odd these pairings are?" Ichirin asked as she put her hand to her cheek.

"No... These are just random." Ryunosuke said.

"We're basically going with the student we went against when we were all together again." Ichirin said.

"Haruka and Hinata!"

"Haruka? Who's that?" Hinata asked. Haru sighed as he scratched the back of his neck.

"That's me." He said.

"Heh?! Your name is actually Haruka?!" Hinata gasped.

"Yeah... Everyone just calls me Haru because Haruka is a girls name." Haru said.

"Maemi and Itona!" The class all snickered slightly.

"Why are you all snickering?" Maemi asked.

"No reason!" Oki said.

"Has she put a hacker on E-Class yet?" Amaya thought.

"Izayoi and Koki!"

"That's just really random." Koki said. Izayoi nodded.

"So it is who we were against on one of the first days." Izayoi said.

"Hayato and Sumire!"

"You any good at fighting?" Hayato asked.

"Not particularly, however, I can make traps." Sumire said.

"That's great! We can make a plan with that." Hayato said.

"Suiko and Sōsuke!"

"Hm..." Suiko said.

"What is it?" Sōsuke asked.

"Didn't you get me when we were against each other?" Suiko asked. Sōsuke nodded.

"Oki and Masayoshi!"

"Two fast people?! They're so gonna get away!" Hinata said. Oki grinned.

"Don't worry. I know a lot of Oki's weaknesses." Haru said.

"Heh??" Oki exclaimed as she flinched back.

"Melody and Hiroto!"

"Melody?" Hiroto questioned.

"Please don't say my full name." Mel sighed.

"So Mel was a nickname?" Hiroto questioned. Mel nodded.

"Jasmine and Taisei!"

"Great~! Because I love working with people I don't even know." Jasmine huffed as she crossed her arms.

"You're with that? I feel sorry for you." Takuya whispered.

"Akihito and Kirara!"

"As long as there's no monobrows, I'm fine." Akihito said with a shiver.

"I won't be scaring you anyway." Kirara said.

"Aria and Takuya!"

"Ack!" Takuya said.

"I think that's worse than that I got." Taisei said.

"Yeah. She is. Please survive man." Akito said.

"You make it sound like I'm gonna die!" Takuya exclaimed.

"Do something wrong, she'll smack your head. Do something right, she won't even acknowledge it. Piss her off, you're just dead." Akito said.

"That's not it. She's just independent." Akihito said.

"Hunter and Kaede!"

"You got the dog. Lucky you." Saika said.

"I'm not a dog!" Hunter exclaimed.

"If he does something right, give him a biscuit. He lives biscuits." Suiko said.

"I'm a human being ya know!"

"Mayuko and Kōtaro!"

"The most quiet ones of the class..." Nagisa said.

"Now that's dangerous." Yuzuru said.

"The quiet ones are the deadliest ones. I hope I don't run into Ama!" Saika cried.

"Akio and Rinka!"

"You good at combat?" Akio asked.

"I'm better with a gun." Rinka stated.

"Perfect. I'll attack from up front and you attack from afar." Akio said.

"Rei and Taiga!"

"The guy who managed to look away because of Akio and Yuudai... This should be interesting." Rei said, thinking out loud.

"Err..." Taiga said.

"Finally, Yuudai and Yuzuki!"

"Don't worry! We've got this in a bag!" Yuzuki said.

"Hopefully." Yuudai said.

"Now! Let's go and get set up. Your training starts tomorrow!" Tristan said.
