rayedragon: Rant about a favorite movie but the things that annoy you about it.

I can't rant about Frozen... ·~· but I guess I'll have to. Here goes. Diana will get a kick out of this...

So I really hate how they've contrasted the time setting. Some people are saying that it takes place in 1840, which makes sense if you look at the dress. But others are saying 1780 or something because that's when Tangled was, and I know for a fact it took place soon after Tangled because of Rapunzel's and Eugene's cameo. But the problem is that they're using broad swords and crossbows instead of muskets and rifles,  which were around in 1840. I mean, sure they live in a secluded place in Norway, but you could at least do them justice by giving them more advanced weaponry.

Also, all the ships. Sure, Jelsa is fine. I actually kinda ship them myself. But Elsa doesn't want a man, and we shouldn't force her to love one if she's not ready. Plus, how old is Jack? "Thousands of years old Misty!" Yes, I understand that. But when he died? He looks about 17 and Elsa is 21. Correct me if I'm wrong. Plus... HELSA. HELSA??? Seriously guys, ARE WE GOING THERE?! PLEASE!!!!!! TELL ME we're NOT GOING THERE!!!!! For one, Hans is a f*cking @$$hole who doesn't deserve Anna, or Elsa for that matter. FOR GODS OF OLYMPUS'S SAKES, PLEASE LET THAT SH*THEAD JUST GO DIE IN A CORNER. He tried to KILL ELSA. WHY THE H*LL WOULD ANYONE SHIP HANS WITH ANYONE?!?!? (Well, maybe Maleficient) Come on!! He tried to KILL Anna too for that matter. No. F*cking no.

Also, all the connections people are making that Anna and Elsa's parents (King Agdar and Queen Idun FYI) were going to visit Queen Idun's sister, Rapunzel's mother, after Rapunzel returned home, possibly to see Rapunzel's marriage. First of all, Rapunzel isn't older than Elsa. Elsa is the oldest Disney Princess. So how old was Rapunzel during her movie? Well at that point, Elsa was 18. So how old is Rapunzel? If she's older than Elsa... Not to mention, "Oh, King Agdar and Queen Idun's ship is the one in the Little Mermaid!" Well depends on when the Little Mermaid took place. That's pushing it. But when people try to connect Frozen with other stuff, like I've seen The Lion King and The Jungle Book... HOW CRAZY ARE YOU??? Why does EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE CONNECTED?? No, just no. Too far people, too far..

Ok, so apparently I can write a rant on the best movie ever. Well I didn't know I had that in me. Leave more stuff. Ok, so um... bae now...
