Me: I'm mostly just Team Cap. I get the reasoning for both, since Iron Man believes that they should be kept in check. He thinks that just letting them do what the want is dangerous, and that they should help clean up the messes they cause. I get it. It's good reasoning.

But if people with crazy tech and superpowers are under the government's control, then the responsibility of controlling the Avengers is now in the government's hands. Personally, I don't trust the government with things like this. It's like what happens if the government gets their hands on demigods. Not good.

Anyway, got a bit off topic there. The government can do whatever they want with them, and the Avengers would have to comply. Heck, they could send them to a different county they were at war with and completely decimate it. This just shows you how much I trust the government.
