I walked into his hospital room and immediately my heart dropped into my stomach. Seeing my baby hooked up to all these machines made me almost lose it.

I walked towards his bedside and sat in the chair that was positioned next to him. "Baby, I'm here and I'm not leaving your side" I spoke softly while placing his hand into mine.

I sat silently as tears cascaded down my face. "It's like we can't catch a break Jas, first it was me now it's you. How did you do this? I don't think I'm strong enough." I cried.

"They said they don't know how long you will be out. To be honest I don't care how long it takes, I will be here everyday until you wake up. So when you do I will be the first face that you see like yours was for me."

Sitting here watching him lay unconscious was so hard to do. I can't hear his voice, smell his scent, feel his arms around me, or feel the passion when he kisses me.

What am I to do?

The only thing I could do was pray to God that he covered him in his blood and that he allowed him to wake up soon. "I love you" I finished and kissed his lips repeatedly.

I reached into my purse and grabbed my Carmex, squeezed it onto my finger and placed it on his lips.

Taking a deep breath, I sat back in the chair and closed my eyes, allowing sleep to overcome me.

Jason

Midnight was approaching and all the kids were sprawled out sleep. I decided to go ahead and get Debo and Strap prepped to take the family to the new safe house.

Kiari decided that she was staying at the hospital with Jasper so I provided her with hella weapons to protect them. I was also gonna leave two trusted men here just in case. In no way was I trusting random soldiers with my family's life again.

I had main guys that I truly trusted without a shadow of a doubt; Debo, Strap, Rakishi, Rambo, Bruce, and Bruno.

These are our head security guys and as of right now the only people that would have access to my family. "De I have a safe house in Springhill, Florida that I want to move the family to. It's practically in the middle of the ocean, the only way to access it is by helicopter. I have two in route to us right now that will transport you, Strap, the women and kids there. The only people that know of this location is you, Strap and the pilots."

He rose one of his eyebrows and asked; "you can trust these pilots?"

I was not offended at all because he has every right to question the integrity of anyone on my team. Not only because he is the head of Ri them security but simply because they were his blood family. We had the same goal, to keep everyone safe by any means.

"Yes. They are my uncles, my mother's brothers. One is a detective and the other is a judge."

He nodded in understanding; "Alright, Imma go check on Ri, I'll be right back" he said and walked off.

I also needed to go check up on Jas but right now I needed to make sure the family was tucked away safely.

I walked over to Mani and kissed her lips softly, she began to stir. "Baby get the kids up, I'm gonna have uncle John come fly y'all to the house in Springhill"

"Ok, are you coming with us?" She asked with pleading eyes.

Although she was one of the toughest women I knew, right now she seemed vulnerable. I looked into her eyes and I could tell that she was scared.

"Not right now, I need to make sure that everyone gets to the house safely, check on Jas, and then I'll be there. Tango and Luckie are going back with y'all, as well as Debo and Strap." I assured her.

"Ok that's fine, right now we need to all be together and regroup. I know this war is in its prime but the way I'm looking at it is, we are ahead of the game. Y'all have taken half of his product, half of his team, and half of his money. While he has tried to take one of our family members. You can't go into war feeling how you're feeling, you need a clear head and create a set plan."

I took in every word she was saying and agreed. Anyone that has went to war based off of emotions has always been known to lose. All because they are acting strictly off of emotions and emotions only, there is know thought behind their actions.

To win this war we had to plan strategically, but I need a quick plan. I couldn't give him time to get a whole new team, I need to strike while he's down most of his men. When he's at his weakest.

"I agree baby and I will be home before the day is over I just need make sure Lil bro straight." I kissed her passionately. "I love you and thank you for always being that voice of reason for me"

"I love you so much more baby, you know I got you" she smiled.

Jewel began to stir in the chair next to us, I walked over and picked her up. Kissing all over her face I said; "baby girl wake up"

"Mmmmmm" was her response as she made a stank face. She absolutely hates to be woken up.

"Come on you gotta get up, it's almost time to go" I said softly.

"Daddy you come to?" She asked half asleep

"Not right now Jewel, daddy will be home soon though"

"No daddy I stay with you" she said hugging me tighter around my neck.

I chuckled; "you have to go with mommy, your aunties, and nanny Sophie"

"No daddy I not like nanny Sophie"

"Why not baby girl?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows as I sat down in the chair propping her up on my lap.

"Cause nanny Sophie mean" she pouted.

"How so?"

"Her not let me see her phone or let me play games on it"

"Well you can't always have everyone's phone baby girl, that's why daddy bought you an iPad, so you can always have that"

She shrugged; "but I want her phone daddy, it's lellow, my favorite color" she explained describing Sophie's yellow iPhone XR.

I laughed; "well daddy will get you a yellow case for your iPad ok?"

She smiled and grabbed my face between her small hands; "Otay daddy, tank you" she said and kissed my cheek.

"You're welcome baby girl"

We talked for a little while longer until I got the text that the helicopters had landed on the roof of the hospital. I gathered everyone and we headed towards Jasper's room to say good bye.

"Sis I'll be back, Rakishi and Rambo are both outside of this door. Bruce and Bruno are in the waiting room. I'm heading to make sure they get situated and take off safely."

She nodded, not taking her eyes off of Jasper. I sighed deeply and softly closed the door behind me.

We headed towards the elevator and up to the roof. Once they made it into their seats I made sure the kids were strapped in and assured that the women were comfortable.

I nodded at my uncles, Debo, Strap, Luckie and Tango and stepped back placing my hands in my pockets.

"I love y'all " I mouthed to everyone over the roaring of the helicopter blades.

"We love you too" they all mouthed back. All except Jewel who was having a fit because I wasn't coming with her.

JJ and I made eye contact, I placed two fingers on my heart and he returned the gesture. He already knew that his task was to protect the women and smaller children.

I was holding on to Tango for dear life as the helicopter landed on one of the most beautiful properties I've ever seen. There was no way Jaron and his minions would find us here. We were literally in the middle of the fucking ocean.

We stepped off the helicopter onto the platform and headed towards the huge double doors. Debo put in a code and the door unlocked. "Once we get settled I need to add everyone's finger print to the scanner so that you are able to get in and out of main doors" he spoke as we stepped into the home.

Immediately my mouth dropped; "this is beautiful Mani"

"Thank you" Mani replied; "we never use this house but Jase got it stocked with food, games, and he had everything from the old safe house shipped here. There is also a game room in the basement, along with a home theater. Toya, Israel's room is already set up. Head upstairs to the right, it should be the third door on the left with you guy's room is right next to it."

"Thank you" Toya replied as she headed up the stairs.

"Also Juri, Jason will have your OB flown out here because he knows you had an appointment scheduled for tomorrow. Your room is also upstairs except it's to your left. We can order things starting tomorrow to set the room up for the new baby" Mani explained

I nodded, "thank you cuz, imma have to text Jason to tell him thank you"

Tango and I headed upstairs and to the left of the hallway. There were like five different doors but surprisingly each room had a name on the door. We entered into our room and it took my breath away!

Beautiful was an understatement. As I stood there fascinated by the room I felt Tango walk up behind me and wrap his arms around my body.

"Baby I missed you" he whispered into my ear while kissing my neck.

I suppressed a moan and replied breathlessly; "I missed you too Tayshaun. I was so worried about you. It's been so long that you've been in that lifestyle that I had gotten use to you being home with me most nights"

"I know, when this is over you won't have to worry about me getting back into it. I only did it for the family."

"I understand, that's why I'm not really upset" I shrugged. Which was true, once he got the opportunity to start producing he never looked back on that life.

I knew he was only doing this because of the threat to Ri and now the threat to our family as a whole. Speaking of which I need to text Ri to check on her and my cousin in law.

"I appreciate you being so understanding, I really do" he replied kissing me once again. "What you think our baby going to be? A boy or girl?"

I smiled, I was so excited that we could possibly find out the gender of our baby tomorrow. I was praying that he or she was positioned right by the time the OB came so that it would be easier for her to tell. I thought about his question for a second before answering.

"I honestly don't know. At first I thought a boy because of the way my stomach was sitting, now I'm so big that I don't even know." I replied plopping down on the bed.

He chuckled; "you're not that big, don't be dramatic. I was thinking a girl but then I thought about her having your attitude and changed my mind"

I mugged him; "What the fuck ever"

He laughed and headed towards the bathroom; "I'm gonna run some bath water, I wanna relax in the tub with you"

I smiled; "okay baby" I said as I started to undress. Hopefully this leads to us making love because a bitch was horny.

I haven't seen my man in a good two weeks and now he was home and looking finer than ever. He walked out of the bathroom shirtless and came to stand in front of me. He placed his arms on each side of me and began to kiss all over my face.

"Mmmoovvveee Tayshaun, you play so much" I giggled. He laughed and I just stared at him.

I couldn't even be mad because he was so damn fine. "Gone some where ugly" I laughed.

"Yea right, you know I'm sexy" he said as he grabbed my hand and led me to the bathroom where our bath awaited us.
