Chapter 35

Third Pov.

Team seven was jumping through the forest nearing mid-day. They’re stopped a few times to rest so they didn’t overdo it, as they jumped it was… unnaturally quiet between them.

Not to stay that is a bad thing; it’s actually a good thing for being in a forest surrounded by enemies. However, even though it was good, it was actually freaking out Sakura and even Naruto.

Naruto was still being semi-loud and excited for any battle, and Emiko would normally be by his side with it. Agreeing with him and saying that she couldn’t wait to turn someone into art. But she wasn’t, not to say she was quiet but when Naruto said something like.

“We can take anyone that comes at us! Right Emi?” Emiko’s reply to him would be. “Yeah! Un,” but it… was different. Like she wasn’t listening to him, her words were half-heartedly. He even noticed that she was deep in thought and he came to the conclusion that she was a bit put off because she didn’t have her clay, so he let it go, still freaked out that she wasn’t being herself but he knew how much his best friend loved that pouch, it was from her brother after all.

Sakura came to the same conclusion as Naruto, she even tried to cheer the girl up by saying something bad about Ino, knowing that the girl didn’t like her rival at all. Emiko just chuckled a little and didn’t say anything else!

Sasuke however knew the reason behind her offness (AN I know it’s not a real word hahaha) and was watching her carefully. She was distracted because of the kiss between them. He noticed that she was thinking it over and she was trying not to, but she was. He understood way so he made sure that if they were attacked, he would be able to stop anyone that would attack her noticing that her guard wasn’t as up as it should be… that it would be.

Sasuke was right, Emiko was thinking that and other things. She was concentrated on her scope as well and on her team. She tried to push any thoughts of Sasuke’s kiss away and into the back of her mind and she did but whenever her thought’s drifted, the memory popped up like an annoying fly, buzzing around her head saying ‘look at me, look at me, look at me!’ If she could, she would turn that stupid buzzing thought fly into art!

She ran her good hand through her hair and Sasuke dropped into jump with her. “Keep concentrated, Emi,” he informed her and she through a glare at him.

“I am!” she snapped under her breath and he raised an eyebrow at him. When did Sasuke start to look so cu- no Emi, Emi. Emiko shock her head and looked straight ahead. “It’s your fault, stupid buzzing thought fly!”

Sasuke looked at her weirdly. “Stupid buzzing thought fly?” he asked and she face palmed into her good hand.

“I said that out loud, didn’t I?” the girl asked and he nodded. “Never mind. It’s your fault. Couldn’t you have waited until, oh I don’t know. until we were out of the forest where enemies are everywhere?!” She asked under her breath and he chuckled.

“I saw the opportunity and I took it. You also asked for me to tell you in any way I could so now it’s up to you,” he retorted and she sighed.

“Worst timing,” she shook her head and looked up at Naruto and Sakura who couldn’t hear them. “Okay, pull it together Emiko… Art, battles, and forest, all in my mind and that’s all.”

The girl took a deep breath and Sasuke smirked at her. It seems she’s trying, he thought. To forget it happened for now. But when this is over, she’ll remember and have to face it.

Emiko’s scope suddenly picked up on chakra ahead of them, just sort of standing there like they were waiting for someone… was it  them they were waiting for?

“Guys!” Emiko called out and they all looked at her as she sped up a little to be side by side with Naruto and Sakura, Sasuke followed the blonde girl. “There is a ninja ahead; they’re sort of just standing there. Be prepared for a fight,” she warned them and Naruto grinned brightly, happy for any type of fight.

Sakura nodded, even though she was scared of it, she knew it was going to happen. Sasuke nodded as well at Emiko.

“Any plan Emi?” Naruto asked and Emi smirked.

“If it’s a trap, then let’s spring it. They wouldn’t know that we know that their waiting for us and if we use it right… we’d win this confrontation, maybe. It is just one person and no one else, but if they do end up being too much for us, then we can hand him or her the fake scroll,” Emiko planned out, and they nodded.

The team trusted her judgement as they know she’s seen more than anyone else on this team, she lived out in the real world as a missing-nin’s sister and has more experience then all of them in situations like this.

When they got close, Emi’s eyes widened as she used her scope to zoom in on the figure. It was… Kabuto. He was sitting on the ground, and from using her scope she could see that he was injured and on the ground, however…  His chakra… Emiko shock her head and she sped up and passed her team with her speed.

“Kabuto,” Emi called out as they reached him. He looked up at them in shock as Emi jumped down.

Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke all stared at her in shook when she sped past them to reach the person.

“Emiko, hey. Where’s your team?” he asked, as he asked this, he was studying the girl. Orochimaru had come into contact with the spy and he knew Orochimaru didn’t kill her like he promised the Iwa team.  

“They’re coming, I saw you and I came running ahead,” Emiko explained and her team arrived beside her.

“Kabuto!” Naruto exclaimed and he shot towards the grey haired boy. He noticed that he was hurt. “What happened?”

Kanuto chuckled at him, pretending to be embarrassed. “I was ambushed, but I won the battle, however as you can see, I was injured in the confrontation.”

Emiko’s eyes narrowed on him. Her scope could see the injuries however… his chakra wasn’t depleted. No matter how skilled a genin, on a three on one battle where the one genin won, their chakra would be low, but his… it was at the same level as when he was at the first exam.

Emiko tensed a little. “You’re heading to the tower now?” she asked and he blinked at her. “Where’s your team?”

Kabuto narrowed his eyes a fraction that wouldn’t be noticeable for anyone without a doujutsu such as a Sharingan or Byakugan, or a scope like Emiko’s. But she noticed. “They headed out before me. We thought it was smarter to split up so we didn’t bring so much attention to ourselves on the trip to the tower,” he lied to the girl.

From Orochimaru, he knew he had to be careful around her. She can see underneath the underneath from few words, well that’s what Orochimaru told him.

Emi nodded, smirking inwardly. She knew she could be just paranoid but this whole exam had been off the whole time. First one of the legendary Sannin was in here, pretending to be a grass nin. Then the Oto-nin attacked them under Orochimaru’s orders… this whole exam has been twist after twist and now this? Kabuto’s chakra levels were high when she thought about it, too high for someone who has failed the Chuunin Exam six times. Jounin high and that’s not good. Along with narrowing his eyes on her like he did. He knew that she was deductive… something she didn’t show any other time during this exam…

“What about you four? You guy’s looking for your scrolls?” Kabuto asked and Emi tried not to show that she was suspicious of him.

“No way! We’ve got both of our scrolls! We’re headed to the tower!” Naruto exclaimed, sounding very proud of the team and he was.

Kabuto’s eye widened a faction. “Really?” he asked and Sakura and Naruto both nodded their heads.

Emiko and Sasuke both watched Kabuto as he thought to himself. He knew that Orochimaru burnt their Heaven scroll, he knew that the Oto-nin would end up giving them their scroll if Sasuke survived the Curse mark of heaven, as Sasuke would end up using the power of the mark and win a fight against them, maybe even kill them but he already knew that didn’t happen. But how did this team get their other scroll so quickly?

“Wow, I underestimated you rookies. How did you get your scroll?” Kabuto questioned and Naruto grinned. He shot off telling the story before Emiko or Sasuke could even stop him.

When the story was over without Naruto’s knowledge of the true story behind the Oto-nin. Kabuto looked at Emiko. So, that’s how they did it, this girl here made a fake scroll. Orochimaru didn’t even check it was something that was an obvious tactic that no one would use or even consider that Orochimaru didn’t even think it would be used, particularly by an explosion using artist. Well that’s what Kabuto thought had happened.

“Hey, how about we travel together to the tower? It was would be safer for you to,” Sakura offered, being nice.

Emiko tensed right away. Was Sakura really doing that? Everyone in this forest is an enemy! Even fellow Konoha-nin and this nin here… something is off about him.

“Thanks, you don’t mind?” Kabuto asked of team seven.

Emi sighed. “No, it fine,” Emiko spoke up and she smiled a fake smile.

“Just don’t slow us down,” Sasuke added and Kabuto nodded with a smile.

“Thanks guys, well,” the spy nin stood up and waved a hand in the direction of the tower. “We should head of,” all of team seven nodded and then as a group, all jumped up into the trees, jumping trees.

It was silent as they moved. Kabuto, asking questions off of Naruto about their time in the forest but Naruto didn’t know the whole thing so he had to fill in the gaps himself.

Emi sighed loudly and everyone looked at her. “We’re getting close, my scope detects a bunch of chakra about 1 kilometre away,” she explained and Naruto grinned.

“Yeah! We’re nearly finished the second exam! Now only the third is left!” Naruto cheered, doing a flip in the air and Emi and Sakura both chuckled at him.

“Only?” Emi asked and then pouted. “Damn, only one more chance to show off my art!”

Naruto laughed at her and grinned. “There’s the Emi I know!” Emi grinned over at him.

“Well, let’s sped up! Don’t hold me back!” Emi shouted and she sped up.

Sasuke scoffed. “Your speed is better,” He retorted as much as he didn’t like to and tried to speed up. Emi laughed at him as Sakura, Naruto and Kabuto all sped up as well.

As they all ran, Kabuto was watching all of them and he did see the mark on Sasuke’s neck and smirked inwardly. So it did work…

Emiko’s pov.

When we reached the tower, I smiled in happiness. We made it, after everything we’d been though, we made it here!

I spun on my heel and I grabbed Naruto’s shoulders. I grinned and he did the same. “We made it!” we both shouted and then in true friendshipness, we grabbed onto each other in a hug, hugging each other as tight as we could. We both laughed happily.

“You two sure are energetic,” Sakura sighed and we both grinned at her.

“Of course,” I answered her. “We’re safe for now and that means… battle Emiko is gone and art happy me is back! yah!” even though I can’t use it, I surely can still be proud of it.

Sakura chuckled at me. “Battle Emiko?” Kabuto asked and my team looked at him.

“Yeah, Emi can either be really hyper, energetic, art enthusiastic and explosive happy and then there is Battle Emiko… she’s serious, still explosive happy just at a more…” Sakura trailed off and I grinned sadistically at Kabuto.

“Deadly level, it’s all about the art and if anyone who is my sight and I’m fighting…” I made a hand sign and said. “Katsu, art is fleeting!”

“She can also be very protective over the people she cares about… or forget that they’re there at all,” Naruto added and I rubbed the back of my head. “One time one of the adults said something bad about me and it took an ANBU to pull her off of the adult who did… and the Hokage to order her to remove all explosives off of them. The whole time, she forgot I was there.”

I remembered that… I still want to kill the civilian that did that. Stupid idiot kicked Naruto out of a shop without a reason!

Kabuto looked at me and I smiled. Yeah, yeah. I’m a bit messed up but oh well. All ninja have their quirks and passions; I just take mine to the next level. (AN Level Extreme!! Hahaha)

“Hey!” all of our heads turned around and we saw two Konoha nin approaching us. “Oh, it’s just you guys. You’re late, Kabuto.”

My eyes narrowed, this is Kabuto’s team? Judging by my scope, their chakra levels are chuunin level. Yeah, there is something off about this. Kabuto’s and his team’s chakra levels are too high for any normal genin team… then again Naruto has large chakra reserves but that’s mainly because of the nine-tails.

“I was caught up in some trouble. Sorry,” Kabuto stated to his team as they approached us. Kabuto stood next to his team and looked back at us. “Well, we’ll go through this door,” Kabuto waved a hand towards the door closest to them. “Good luck to all of us.”

“Yes!” Naruto agreed with him and I nodded my head.

“When art is involved… there is no need for luck,” I pointed out and Kabuto chuckled at me.

He gave us a thumbs up and then he and his team disappeared behind the door.

Naruto then headed to the door and opened it up. “Let’s go!” he exclaimed before heading in himself.

I laughed and followed him in, waving Sakura and Sasuke in. Yep, we’ve made it through hell and back, and now…

Third pov.

Kabuto and his team stepped into the room and Kabuto smirked at his lord… Orochimaru who was leaning on the wall.

“You got anything?” Orochimaru asked of the fake Genin, smirking towards him.

“Yes,” Kabuto replied. “I’ve written down all the data pertaining to him from the Second Exam,” Kabuto’s hand snapped up with one of his Ninja information cards in between him fingers, smirking. “You need this, right?”

He handed the card over to Orochimaru as the snake asked. “So, how was he?”

“Heh, looks like you’re fond of him, Lord Orochimaru,” Kabuto commented, making the Snake Sannin chuckle a little.

“I want to hear your opinion… As a spy from Oto,” Orochimaru stated, looking at the card of Sasuke’s information in his hand.

“You don’t need that… Since you’re the one who will determine everything,” Kabuto replyed, fixing up his glasses on his face.

Orochimaru stood away from the wall and smirked at him. “Your cunningness is what I like.”

“However, if I may… Emiko. Deidara the Iwa Bomber’s sister… she’s better then she looks. Are you sure that you should have left her alive?” Kabuto questioned and Orochimaru looked at him in question. “She made three fake scrolls with clay… before you threw her clay away. That scroll that you destroyed was one of them. She even lied to her own team who had the real scroll.”

Orochimaru’s eyes narrowed a little. “I never thought to check if it was a fake or not. It’s an intelligent move… and that girl is intelligent.”

Kabuto’s eyes narrowed as well. “And deductive. I noticed the whole time she was watching me… like she knew something was wrong,” he added.

“Hmm, that shows her past as a missing-nin’s sister… Never trust anyone unless there is a real reason to,” Orochimaru informed the young man and Kabuto smirked. “Yes, I was right in leaving her alive… it’ll be fun to watch the Iwa nin fumble in their attempts to kill her, particularly Rin, so easy to manipulate. Once she is being controlled by a person, her sister’s fall into place by Rin’s manipulation,” Orochimaru chuckled darkly. “Oh well, those three are only pawns in my game. As long as they make trouble for Emiko, keep this girl from getting in my way, they have use for me. Also, I wouldn’t kill the little bomber as her brother would hunt me down, that’s something I don’t want to deal with right now.”

Yes, Orochimaru was correct, anyone harm’s Deidara’s little sister is asking for a death wish.

“What do you want with Emiko?” Kabuto asked of the snake nin and Orochimaru smirked.

“Nothing… yet.”

Emiko’s Pov.

We all looked around the room in confusion. It was empty.

“No one’s here,” Naruto called out and I nodded my head in agreement.

“Yeah, I thought someone would be here at least…” I trailed off in thought and Naruto looked over at me.

“Hey, hey, what are we supposed to do?” I shrugged at Naruto’s question.

Sakura called out, catching our attention. She pointed up at the wall. Sasuke, Naruto and I all looked up at the direction of her pointing. It was a board with writing on it. “Look at that!”

“If you do not possess Heaven… I don’t understand…” Naruto muttered to us and I looked at the board in thought.

“If you do not possess Heaven, gain knowledge and be prepared. If you do not possess Earth, run through the fields and seek strength. If you open both Heaven and Earth scrolls, dangerous paths turn into safe paths. This is the secret of… something… something…” my eyes narrowed on the blanks, something was missing. “It shall lead you on your way.”

Naruto looked over at Sakura in question. “What does that mean?”

Sakura looked hard at the board and she said. “That part looks like it’s missing a letter. It’s probably referring to the scrolls. I think it’s telling us to open both the Heaven and Earth scrolls.”

I nodded my head and Naruto pulled out both scrolls as he had them and Sakura grabbed one. Sasuke and I stood side by side looking at the scrolls carefully, just in case and I didn’t let being close to Sasuke bug me. Score for Emiko!

At the same time, Naruto and Sakura started to open the scrolls. “Then let’s open them…” Naruto trailed off and then at the same time Sakura and Naruto slowly opened the scrolls. “What’s this?” Naruto asked and I felt Sasuke tense beside me.

In the scrolls they had the letters, Person and Jin… what in the world does that mean?

“Person? Jin?” Sakura asked and my eyes narrowed in thought.

All of a sudden, the letters Person and Jin puffed out of the scroll, smoke coming off of it in waves.

Sasuke gulped and said. “This is a summoning inscription,” my eyes widened. “Naruto, Sakura, let go of those scrolls!” Sasuke exclaimed in an almost fearful tone.

Sakura and Naruto both tensed and reacted by through the scrolls from us at the same time. When the scrolls hit the ground, they… almost exploded! My hand flew up to my scope to find out what it was summoned as smoke filled the area where scrolls landed.

My scope picked up chakra… chakra that I’ve picked up before on my scope. I face palmed.

“You’re…” Sasuke trailed off as the smoke cleared.

We got all worked up over… that’s right Iruka-sensei. He was standing on top of the scrolls, with his arms crossed and eyes closed.

“Hello, long time no see,” he greeted us, opening his eyes. He looked at us seriously.

Sakura from beside me shouted. “What’s going on?” Iruka chuckled at my pink hair teammate.

“Looks like the three of you went through a lot of trouble,” Iruka pointed out, with a smile on his face.

I snorted. “That’s to put it bluntly,” I muttered under my breath at his words. Orochimaru… Oto-nin… blah. I hope the Oto-nin didn’t make it here.

Naruto blinked. “What? Why? Why did you appear through a summoning jutsu, Iruka-sensei?” Naruto questioned our old teacher.

I agreed with his question. Why did Iruka come out of a summoning jutsu?

“We Chuunin’s are to welcome the examinees at the end of this Second Exam. I was given the duty to pass the four of you a message by chance,” Iruka walked up towards us. I mentally laughed. Yeah right! I bet Iruka begged to be the one to pass us! He gets all overprotective over Naruto and they let him. heh heh.

“A message?” Sakura asked of him in confusion as Iruka stoped walking and stood closer to us.

“You guys have done well; you made it here on the fourth day. Good job,” he did a closed eye smile at us. “Everyone. Congratulations on passing the second exam. I’d like to treat you to ramen at Ichiraku, but-“

I snickered as he was cut off by Naruto throwing himself at Iruka, hugging him tightly. “Yeah!” Naruto cheered, hugging him tightly.

“Hey, Naruto! Let me finish…” Iruka tried to say as Naruto thanked Iruka over and over again, over Iruka.

I laughed at him as Naruto let go of Iruka and started to cheer. “Ramen! Ramen! I did well! I’m the best! I want to eat ramen!”

I saw Sakura and Sasuke both sit onto the ground and I stepped forward towards Naruto.

“What an energetic guy,” Sasuke stated simpley and I chuckled at that.

I put a hand on Naruto and he looked at me, grinning. “Ramen Emi!” I chuckled at him.

“I heard Naruto, but iruka-sensei’s got more to say. So calm down on the rameness,” I informed him and he blinked at me. I looked at Iruka with a smile. “You said the R word, sensei! It’s the saying the A word around me and not expecting a rant.”

Naruto faced Iruka and he sighed. Looking at Naruto. “Geez, you’re still restless like before. I’m surprised you’re not cheering too Emiko, or specking about art,” Iruke pointed out and I snickered.

“What? You want me to go on a rant about art? You used to tell me off when I did so in the academy,” I retorted and he chuckled nervously. “I can do it if you want me to, I mean, you did just say the A word, un.”

“No thanks Emiko,” he said hurriedly. Heh, my rants even scares my old sensei. Go me.

Sasuke from behind us chuckled once. We all looked back at him as he looked at Iruka. “I see. If we looked into the scrolls during the exam, Iruka-sensei, what were you planning to do?” he questioned the man.

I blinked once. Oh… I get where Sasuke’s coming from. I looked over at Iruka too in question.

Iruka went back to grab the scrolls on the ground, picking them one up. “Sasuke, sharp as ever I see,” Iruka stood back up and looked at us. He held the scroll towards us and said. “As you have guessed, this exam tests your mission completion ability. So, if you break the rules and open a scroll…”

“If you open it…” Naruto pressed on as Iruka smirked at us.

“We were ordered to knock out the examinees until the Second Exam ended,” I blinked at Iruka’s statement.

They would have… knocked us out? Oh Jashin, imagine if Orochimaru opened his. That poor chuunin…

“Oh!” Sakura spoke up; I looked at her as she pointed up at the wall with the writing on it. “What does that text on the wall mean? It seems to be broken, and we can’t understand it at all.”

Naruto snickered and said, looking at Sakura. “Who cares, who cares… we passed!”

I snickered at Naruto. “They wouldn’t have it there for no reason Naruto, it’s there for a reason,” I pointed out and Naruto looked at me and frowned.

“But-“ I gave him a look that said. ‘Don’t argue with me.’ he didn’t. Which was good.

Iruka chuckled. “Emiko’s right. My other mission is to explain to you what this means,” Iruka informed us.

Naruto blinked. “What? Really?” Naruto asked of him and Iruka nodded.

“Yes. Read it. This is the principal Lord Hokage wrote that you should keep in mind as a Chuunin,” I looked at it carefully. The Hokage wrote this? Well, it sounds wise…

“Principal?” Naruto asked, with his head to the side.

Iruka looked back at the writing. “Yes, the ‘heaven’ in this texts point to the head of a person. And ‘earth’ points to the body. If you do not possess Heaven, gain knowledge and be prepared. That means, for example, if Naruto’s weak point it his brain…” He looked back to us, well, to Naruto and pointed to his own forehead. “He should study and prepare for his missions,” Narutop crossed his arms, not happy. Sakura giggled at that.

“That’s none of your business…” Naruto muttered in annoyance.

I put a hand on Naruto’s shoulder, my good one. “Aw! It’s okay Naruto. I’ll help you study!” I exclaimed and he twitched.

“Emi!” He whined and I laughed brightly.

Iruka chuckled at us and continued. He looked down at a giggling Sakura. “And if you do not possess Earth, run through the fields and seek strength. For example, if Sakura’s weakness lies in strength, she should train herself every day.”

I had to hold myself back from laughing my head off. I’ve been telling her this from day dot and finally a teacher tells her. Sakura even looked embarrassed. It finally clicks in her head when a teacher tells her, yay!

“That’s what it means. And if you have both Heaven and Earth attributes, any dangerous missions will become safe. If can even become easy,” I smiled at that.

“What about that missing letter?” I asked, and Iruka looked over at me.

“It’s the letter that symbolizes a Chuunin,” he raised the scroll that was still in his hand towards us. “The ‘human’ letter that was in here goes in there. The survival mission you took part in these past four days tested the basic abilities of the examinees as a Chuunin. And you guys completed it. A chuunin is a commander-class ninja. He,” I coughed loudly, with an eye brow raised, Iruka chuckled. “Or she has a duty to lead a team. Deeply inscribe into your heart the importance of knowledge and strength in missions. Never forget that Chuunin principal, and go on to the next step. That’s all I was ordered to tell you,” he smiled at us and I saw his eyes land on Naruto.

Naruto saluted the chuunin. “Roger!” he exclaimed and I smiled at my best friend.

I bumped my shoulder into him with a grin. “How awesome are we! We’re rookies and made it this far, yah!” I cheered and Naruto grinned at me.

“Emiko the Artist and Naruto the next Hokage are one step closer to becoming Chuunin!” He shouted with a happy tone.

I fist pumped with a smile. I looked at Iruka with a smile but I noticed the worried look on his face as he looked at Naruto. I smiled inwardly; Iruka is so like a big brother to Naruto, protective and cares about him. Iruka looked at the rest of us before looking at the ground.

“But don’t push yourselves in third exam. Especially you, Naruto. I’m worried about you the-“ Iruka was cut off.

“Iruka-sensei,” Iruka looked up to Naruto. Naruto pointed it himself with a smirk. “When I got this Konoha forehead protector, I graduated from the academy. There’s no need to worry,” Naruto grabbed his forehead protector between his fingers proudly, I smiled at him. “And this is the proof you gave me to show I’m not a child anymore, right, Iruka-sensei? I may still be restless, but I’m not a kid anymore… I’m a ninja.”

It was silent between Naruto and Iruka. Iruka was just staring at Naruto. I knew he was thinking that Naruto had grown and not the same anymore. He slowly smiled at him proudly.

“I see… I’m sorry, Naruto,” Iruka muttered with the smile. Naruto grinned and laughed happily. I knew Naruto would be happy with the acceptance from Iruka. He does look up to the chuunin so much…

“Now, as you four have made it back early by a day, I’ll take you to a room where you can say and rest until the end of the Second Exam,” Iruka informed us and looked at Sasuke and Sakura. “Up you get you two.”

Sakura sighed and got up. Sasuke just got up. I smiled at them, forgetting about Sasuke situation for now… and I ran towards the door at the back. I grinned as I turned back.

“Get ready everyone! Team seven has officially made it through!” I shouted and I smirked to myself.

Be ready Iwa team… I’m alive and I’m ready to come at you even though I’m artless… because I’m not afraid of you at all… and you three are afraid of me.

Okay guys, uploads will probably be slower as I am now in my last year of school, year 12, HSC and all that jazz (It sadly can’t be treated as fleeting). I do have a dead-line for this book/story and that’s to finish it by the end of the year!! But when I start the sequel, it’s going to have slower updates until after my HSC Exam’s. (not looking forward to that >_<)

Now, what do you guys think of this? Did Emi deduct this without it sounding like she was getting it to easy? I try not to do that and it’s a sign of Mary Sues and I don’t want Emi to become one!!
