Chapter 10

Sorry for the mistakes!

"I had no choice! Now look what that has gotten me. My wife my children have abandoned me and yet you still come to humiliate me. What more do you want" Chaos asked his brother in law.

Damian sat on the throne of the universe looking up at the ceiling as if he were thinking. He then turned back to the former kings grinning like a Cheshire Cat.

"The throne. But I can't have that as long as your children roam free. Piros is unstable so there's no use dealing with him. The princess is a spoiled brat adored by all. Now there's the problem" he paused lightly tapping his fingers against the silver throne.

Beside it was the Queens platform. A place where queen Sofia could rest. In her culture to show your rank you don't sit on a throne you are rasied on platform that reflects how powerful you are. And at this moment her platform was crumbling.

"I'll make a deal with you. If you give me your power all of it. I'll call of the war and return your precious Sofia" Chaos growled.

"I can't make that deal. My power isn't something that can be shared or given away. It's the universe itself. Even if I did you wouldn't call of the war you'll make it worse" a smirk crept it's was on Damian's lips.

"Your smarter than you look" he arose from his seat then took a step down. He continued until he was face to face with Chaos himself. "No worries. You obviously need sometime to think. Three days. After those three days I'll return and I will not stop until I have you"

Lauren took another sip of her drink pretending that she wasn't listening to the minotaur that was behind her. Forever nightclub. The place was swarming with immortals that refused to bow to either side. Lauren on the other hand was just there to relax.

She had sent the crowned prince to an unknown place it wouldn't be long before he found her again. She had to do something but what?

"Are you even listening? Your a legend yet you sit her wasting your time. Do you not know what is happening around you. Your followers are dying-" Trevor closed his mouth immediately after seeing Lauren's expression.

"Don't you think I know that? My sister is out there somewhere and I can't find her. Kate is gone Eric is drunk the Gods have crumbled. We're not longer the great fighters we used to be. Open your eyes" her green orbs held defeat. She had lost hope in not only herself but her followers as well.

She wasn't a God. She didn't think she was. All that power for what? To show off. To make others bow before you? What's the use of being all powerful when you can't even fight for you self. She sighed holding her head down.

Theodore arched his eyebrow taking up the empty glass Lauren had just drank from. He glanced at the minotaur who was staring at him intensely. Sighing he turned away focusing on another customer.

"But we could be. Don't you get it. If we give up now we'll all be enslaved. Do you really want that? You know what I'm sorry for wasting your time" turning on his heel he walked out of the bar confused.

How could she not want to help? That questions raced through his mind but there was no possible answer. She's given up hope....I pray that there's still a chance for her. He was too caught up in his thoughts to realize the blind bloods that were sneaking up on him.

It was only when an arrow was sent flying pass him that he noticed his potential attackers. Cupid's arrows? He asked himself studying the arrow further. It was hers. The golden arrow could belong to no one else. It's dark red tip so sharp it could cut through a diamond easliy. The ends were feathered something Lauren loved to do with all her accessories.

"Watch were your going. I thought you were the minotaur. You should have detected those blind bloods. Don't tell me your slacking off" Lauren said lowering her bow. She had a playful smirk on her lips. Trevor couldn't help but smile.

"So your coming with me?"

"It's amuses me. The princess does know how to fight she's just....not placed in the right situation. There's a warrior in her she just needs a motive. I'll help you if you tell me when you plan to ask her" Trevor laughed whole heartedly at her words.

"I'm not sure my friend. I just haven't gotten the right opportunity" Lauren shook her head sliding her bow over her shoulder. She then pulled up her hood so her body was now once again shielded by her robe.

"You better move or someone else will. Now would you please show me where this base of operation is. I'm dying to see"

"I'm back" Damian sang in a high pitched voice as he glided unto the silver floor making his way towards the minor God at the other side of the room.

"You aren't welcomed here" Claire hissed her arms tired from the house work she's been doing for the past two days. Her ash grey hair was tied in a messy ponytail at the top of her head. Her skin stained form all the dirt that came in contact with it. She wore a maids outfit that made her look slutty.

"I didn't ask my dear minor. Now have you decided?"  Claire ignored his question and continued to dust the weapons that were on hanged above the fire place. Every once in a while a spark from the fire would catch her skin. She hissed each time amusing the God that stood behind her watching her every move.

"No answer. Oh dear what did I do? What did I ever do to deserve this?" He faked a dramatic death. Claire rolled her eyes the corners of her lips itched upwards.

"What is that I see. A smile oh lord I've really lost my touch haven't I. No worry, I'm giving you one last chance. Come with me or forever be condemned to this wonderful place" thinking for a moment she finally came to an conclusion.

"I'll go with you. If you plead for my trial " Damian agreed walking over to the Goddess of light extending his hand. She took it gracefully dropping her duster. He smirked taking a step closer.

Claire felt her chest tighten with each step he took. She didn't show it though.  He stood before her his face inches away from hers. Her breath hitched as his hand squeezed hers. Finally he took a step backwards pleased with himself. She stood there confused. What did he want?

Once she heard footsteps coming closer she began to panic. Damian sent her a look telling her to stop. She felt a warm feeling wash over her as her body turned into smoke. She had one last glance at the place she stayed for the past three hundred years.

The last thing she saw before she vanished was Lucifer's enraged expression. She could she the fired burning in her eyes at that moment she knew if she had ever come back here she would pay.
