Something's wrong with him. I just don't know what.

Zack has always been odd, someone who was very secretive about his personal life, but it's gotten worse. It seems as if anything and everything outside of school was like a knife to the heart whenever someone brought it up. And now, he doesn't even hang out with band outside of school, not even at lunch.

I just know something is happening with him. But what?

My worried thoughts were interrupted by none other than Zack himself.

He was almost late, walking in just as the tardy bell rang.

But it wasn't when he walked in that got me, it was how.

Zack came in, head down, arms to his side, and notebook and pencil in hand. He seemed to try his hardest not to make eye contact with anyone, like he was keeping something from is.

Something big.

I watched him sit down and pull out his phone, looking at something on it for a bit. That was until Freddy stood up. Without Zack noticing, his bestfriend walked over to his desk and gave him one if those 'bro smacks', though the reaction stopped my heart.

Zack just yelped, like he was in pain. He quickly tried to cover it up with a laugh that was obviously fake.

The whole class was now giving him worried looks, though all he did was say he was fine when I asked.

But he wasn't.

I have no idea what it is, but Zack's facing something big, something important.

And I plan to find out what it is.

A/n

Sucks huh? I promise the plot will pick up as the story progresses, I just need to get the issues(yes there's more than one) out in the first few chapters.

I wanted to say right now, this story will most likely not have a happy ending. I'm not saying Zack's going to die or anything like that, but somethings probably going to happen that you would not expect.

Though, there is a SMALL possibility that there will be a happy ending, so don't think its going to be sad.

I have no idea when I can type my next chapter but it IS written in my journal so.
