₊˚.༄ EXTENDED SUMMARY. madeline brodeur was part of the brodeur bloodline. one of the most popular, richest, pompous, purest bloodlines in all of the wizarding world. the brodeur family was beautiful and, dare i say, fake. audrey brodeur ( neé bisset ) had beautiful brown locks, nor straight or curly, pearly white teeth, dark brown eyes, and naturally red lips. adrien brodeur had blonde hair, beautiful ocean blue eyes, a scruffy beard, paper white teeth, and a smile that could make any woman drop to the ground. adam brodeur, the youngest, had brownish-blondish hair with hazel eyes, and a smile that would have anyone say 'aww'. then there was madeline. madeline had straight shoulder length brown hair, blue eyes, and had a sunkissed face. her face was covered in freckles, which her mother said was her biggest flaw, that they were disgusting. audrey brodeur was a woman who cared about reputation and looks like it were life and death and never liked how her daughter looked or acted, she said she brought shame among the family, she said that she didn't deserve anything. audrey criticized every little thing madeline did, from the way she walked to the way she smiled, nothing was ever good enough, and when madeline was young that was all she wanted, her mother's approval. her father was no better, telling her that she'd be no fit to be a proper house wife, muggle, or witch. constantly putting the girl down. when it was announced that the brodeur parents were expecting a new baby, madeline didn't think she'd ever been happier, finally someone who could take all of the criticism. when adam brodeur was born it was the complete opposite. adam was the perfect person, besides themselves, of course, and could never do wrong in their eyes. and apparently adam had grown up to audrey and adrien's liking, looks wise, and was constantly praised of his looks, brains, and anything else possible. madeline had always been different from her family. she never cared about her looks, blood purity, and her freckles were the only thing she liked about herself. when she was 14 she got a reputation as a party girl and was soon expelled when she was 15 for arriving to class intoxicated. after that all hell broke loose, audrey and adrien were furious that their perfect name was ruined, they even tried to bribe madame maxime to take her back but maxime said that not even all the money in the world would help madeline become a proper lady. ashamed and embarrassed, adrien and audrey sent madeline to hogwarts. they never wrote her, they always requested that she stay home during the holidays, and they sent her money every other week for her 'personal' needs. they had finally given up.

─ when she first gets to hogwarts she has a very thick french accent and has trouble with her english but gets a lot better at it.

─ since she doesn't like her parents and gives zero shits about them she always spoils oliver and percy with christmas gifts, birthday gifts, and just gifts in general. like if they go to hogsmeade you better believe that percy goes back with a stack full of books, quills, and candy while oliver goes back with new quidditch things ( broom cleanings ), candy, and some things from zonko's. she even bought oliver a new broom for his birthday

─ madeline and oliver love the burrow, madeline especially, and madeline is close with all of percy's siblings, not so much bill and charlie, she's met charlie but she had never really talked to him. and she buys expensive gifts for the whole burrow, including harry and hermione ( her goal is to clean out her parents bank account ) but molly almost never accepts the gifts because she says she shouldn't spend so much on her, but madeline says that she loves molly more than her own mother and that she practically sees her as her mom ( mUm ) and then there's lot's of crying with molly and madeline.
