Elijah's P.O.V

"Dude! Where were you?" I asked Nick as he entered his house. I came over immediately Daisy said he didn't come home last night again. I had been keeping Daisy's company because Zoey was at Alex's place.

"Out" he said and closed the front door walking over to his room. I sighed and ran my hand over my face then followed him. Daisy was in her room, she was stressed because Nick didn't come home so I made her something to eat and allowed her to rest.

"Nick" I said following him into his room and closing the door behind me. "You didn't come home last night, Daisy was so worried and she had to lie to Zoey so she wouldn't notice" I said as he walked to his wardrobe pulling his shirt over his head.

"Okay" he said as he folded the shirt he pulled over his head neatly. Ever since Zoey and Nick were kids, Daisy would make sure they were very neat even anytime Eddy and I came over to their house, immediately Nick, Eddy and I finished playing, she would shove us in bubbles of soap and give us a clean bath. As a result of this, Zoey and Nick have become neat freaks.

"What happened?" I asked and he changed into a pair of sweats and sat down on his bed.

"I- I told Venom that I wanted out" he stammered looking at me. I went to sit beside him.

"Then what happened?" I asked feeling a shivering run down my spine at the mention of Venom.

"He threatened to hurt- to hurt my family, everyone I know" he said quietly and I took a deep breath.

"You shouldn't have joined him in the first place, you should have accepted my offer instead" I said looking at him and he clenched his jaw.

"What did you expect me to do? I needed the money, or do just want me to leave everything to Gran? She needs to rest, I can't just leave everything to her" he said angrily.

"What about my offer? You could have avoided this by accepting to be my assistant or something in dad's company" I said getting annoyed.

"No! I don't want to work in your company. Your dad feels so full of himself and I can't let him embarrass me again." He stood up then walked to his desk and sharpened his pencil.

"Well what do you want to do now?" I asked getting fed up. I've never met this Venom and I never want to.

"I have no idea, I have no choice but to continue working with him" he shrugged as he started drawing on his sketchbook that he allows no one to see. Not even Zoey or Daisy had taken a peek out of that book.

"No! Let's discuss this with Eddy and see his opinion about it" I said and laid on my back on neatly laid bed.

"Hm" he hummed in response as he focused on his drawing.

"So what will you tell Daisy? Or have you finally decided to tell he and Zoey about your work?" I asked curiously and he tensed.

"No one is telling anyone anything" he muttered and I nodded.

"Nick!" Daisy's voice boomed through the door and Nick and I looked at each other before he answered.

"Gran, come in!" He answered and she came in. She closed the door behind her and Nick closed the drawing book on his table.

"Thank God you're okay" she said and she walked over to hug him. I sat up and smiled at them. Nick was lucky in some ways, at least he had someone that cares about him in his family. I care about only twoa people in my family which are Chef Lily and Kelly. No one else.

"Yeah, you haven't eaten have you?" She asked as she pulled away from the hug and held his face in her hands.

"No but I'll eat later" Nick said, embarrassed as he gave me a quick glance.

"What??? No!! Go and eat now!!" She said giving him a Stern look and I internally shivered as Nick nodded immediately and rushed out of the room to eat.

"Eli, thank you so much for everything" she smiled at me and I stood up while she gave me a warm hug which I relaxed into immediately.

"Don't thank me, you're like family to me" I smiled back and she pulled away.

"I just wish Nick would talk to me, this is not the first time he goes out without coming back home and he won't tell me where he goes and why he doesn't come home." She teared up and gave me a sad smile.

"Please don't cry, I'm sure he'll talk to you when he's comfortable about it okay?" I said

"Okay, and I know if I asked you, you wouldn't tell me so don't let me bother" she said and I smiled looking down at my canvas. She chuckled and pulled my cheek lightly.

"It's getting late, you should head home. My regards to Kelly and please be safe okay?" She said and I looked up at her.

"Sure Daisy" I said and we walked out of Nick's room to the sitting room.

"Nick!!!! Eli is going!!!" Daisy yelled and Nick came out of the kitchen and stood at the doorway.

"Gran, my ears are sensitive" he groaned and Daisy rolled her eyes at him before smiling at me.

"Bye sweetie" she said and pecked my cheeks and I flushed. She went back to her room and Nick was still standing at the doorway.

"Well, we'll meet kate and talk to Eddy about the thing" I said and Nick nodded.

"Okay, bye dude. Send my greetings to Prada, yeah?" He said and I chuckled at the nickname he calls my sister ever since she was a kid.

"Alright, same for Zo" I said and he nodded and I made my way to my car, driving to the enormous building I unfortunately called home. As I headed home, I put two things in my mind which was texting Alex when I got home and ignoring my parents.

Alexandrea's P.O.V

"Alex? What is my brother's hoodie doing here?"

Shit! What do I say? I never told them he took me home after Bex ditched me that day.

"I erm The.... I" I stammered and they both narrowed their eyes at me.

"Oh my God! Did he sleep with you too?" Zoey suddenly asked with wide eyes.

"What? Ew! No!" I said immediately but I couldn't help but wonder what she meant by 'you too'. That means he sleeps around a lot...

"Then what is his hoodie doing here?" Bex piped in and I gave both of them a guilty look.

"Erm... I-"

"You guys are a thing? " Zoey cut me off and I rolled my eyes.

"God! No!" I said.

"Then explain" Bex said and I sighed.

"Okay, so you remember the day you ditched me for Andy-"

"Don't say his name" Bex muttered.

"Let's just name him pea brain" Zoey said eagerly as she waited for me to continue.

"Okay! The day you ditched me for pea brain, it started raining and I was drenched from head to toe-"

"Wait, why didn't you take a cab?" Zoey cut me off.

"She loves the rain" Bex answered for her and Zoey nodded for me to continue.

"Anyways, a random guy came and harassed me-"

"He did??? What did he say?" Zoey interrupted and I glared at her.

"He tried to talk me into following him home and sleeping with him, so he left after I said No-"

"You should've slapped him, no one is allowed to harass a girl just like that" Zoey cut me off again and I felt my body turn cold. I felt as if she was talking about my father but I shook it away so they won't suspect anything.

"Yeah" I said quietly and cleared my throat to continue " So, Nick came and offered me a ride to which I refused then he forced me into his car-"

"So like he kidnapped you?"Zoey cut me off. Again.

"Shut up and stop interrupting, if you let her continue, she would answer your questions!" Bex glared at Zoey and she pouted, keeping her mouth shut.

"Anyways, he threw me over his shoulder and put me in the front seat. Since, I didn't have any other means home" I said and looked at Bex who smiled guiltily " I had to oblige and besides, it saved me money"

"And his hoodie?" Zoey said and quickly slapped a hand over he mouth then glanced at Bex.

"Oh! I changed into it because my wet clothes were messing up his car" I said and they both nodded.

"So you decide not to give it back to him huh?" Bex winked at me and Zoey wiggled her eyebrows at me.

"What? No! I wanted to but then I forgot!" I defended .

"Sure you did"Bex said and I glared at her.

"Okay, this is getting disgusting, I'm his twin!" Zoey said as she finished folding the dirty clothes and walked over to us and started eating her own doughnuts.

"Are you gonna finish that?" I asked Zoey pointing to her doughnut.

"Touch it and I will kill you" she said glaring at me and I raised my hands in surrender.

We soon finished eating and took pictures then we snuggled up in my bed and started watching Netflix. And yes, tomorrow is Monday which is a school day but who cares? I hates Mondays. I laid in the middle while Bex and Zoey laid on each of my sides. We were laying on our stomach as we watched 'Me Before You', unfortunately, there was no popcorn or anything to watch it with because the doughnuts and drinks we're enough sugar for us. Especially for me since I'm the only one that hasn't seen my period yet.

I  heard sniffing beside me and I checked my side to see Zoey wiping her tears with her eyes glued to the tab. I shifted my gaze back to the screen then realized that it was the part where Will was explaining to Louisia why they can't be together and I teared up as well. The only person that wasn't crying was Bex who was shaking her head at us when she noticed we were crying.

"You guys are sentimental" she shook her head as she turned her gaze back to the screen.

"I can't help it" Zoey sniffed. Her eyes were red and swollen.

"Alex?" My mom called through the door.

"Come in" I replied as she opened the door and entered.

"It's getting late, you guys should head home. You know tommorow is a school day" my mom said as she placed a hand on her hip.

"But I want to see what happens to Will at the end" Zoey whined and Bex stood up form the bed.

"You can see it next time, your parents would probably be worried by now" Mom said as she started to leave and there was an awkward silence in the room.

"I..um...I don't have parents" Zoey said in a quiet voice as she stood up but my mom heard.

"Oh my God! I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have... I-"

"It's okay" Zoey cut my mom off and smiled.

"So you live with your..." Mom trailed off.

"Grandma" Zoey completed and my mom nodded.

"Alright, my regards to her" Mom smiled and she left the room.

"So you and Nick live with your grandma?" Bex said breaking the silence and Zoey nodded.

"I had a lot of fun today, thanks guys" Zoey smiled changing the subject and we both stood up so we can have a group hug.

"Bex... You're kind of strangling us" Zoey choked out and I groaned in agreement.

"You guys need to toughen up, I don't even hug that tight" Bex rolled her eyes as she released us from the death grip.

"Sure, you don't" I coughed and Bex glared at me as Zoey laughed.

"So we have to be on our way now, I'll give this back to my brother, yeah?" She said as she held up the hoodie and I nodded.

"Oh! Ken sends his greetings" Bex chipped in and I raised an eyebrow at her " I kind of forgot in the morning" she said.

"Okay well bye" Zoey said and they grabbed their bags and left my room.

"Bye" I said and put off my tab feeling lonely already. I was to lazy to lay my bed again so I just snuggled up in the covers like that. My room was clean and organized all thanks to Zoey. I changed into the sweater my grandma gave me and snuggled back up in bed. 

I took my phone and started scrolling through the pictures we took today, smiling after I realized I couldn't sleep till at least 4am. While scrolling through them, a message popped up on my screen.

Elijerk: Lack of sleep causes fatigue.

I smiled and gave him a sarcastic reply

Me: Really? I didn't know that

Elijerk: haha! Very funny. But seriously, you need to sleep. I don't want you looking like a vampire tommorow morning.

I sighed and didn't reply for a while.

Elijerk: Hello?

Elijerk: Are you there?

Elijerk: Fine! Sorry..

At least apologised which means he cares so there's a possibility he like me back right?

Me: Apology not accepted.

Elijerk: But I said sorry

Me: you can't just tell me I look like a vampire and say sorry.

Elijerk: do you want it with a kiss too?

I blushed after reading his message and thought about his cute smile. If you don't mind.....

Me:Ew, never.

Elijerk: I bet you were thinking of me kissing you

Shit! Does he know? What if he does? That'll be super awkward.

Me: Actually I was thinking of pizzas, I'm craving some so bye

I texted putting the conversation to an end so it won't start getting awkward from my side.

Elijerk: Wait... don't leave me. I'll miss you!

Wha- He's probably messing with me, I thought. What if he meant it in a friendly way? Or maybe not?

Me: Of course you will, who wouldn't?

I texted and waited for his reply.

Elijerk: I have to go. Bye.

That was weird. Did I do something wrong?

Me: Why? Fine, I'll take pizza later.

Elijerk: Just go to sleep, bye.

Me: Did I say something wrong?

Elijerk: Bye.

I furrowed my eyebrows and dropped my phone on the bedside table, charging it. I went to my window and sat beside it looking at the stars and cresent shaped moon. I checked the time, 10:56pm.

I still can't sleep yet so I put on red sweats with yellow flip-flops and took my car keys. I made my way to my car and made sure the house was locked. I started driving to the place I know by heart, the beach. I parked there, dropped my flip-flops in the car and got out feeling the sand sink in between my toes. I started walking towards the beach and folded my sweats up to my knee. I sat down at the shore where the water could only touch my feet and listened to the beautiful sounds of the wave. I looked around and felt my heart sink a little when there was no one. Part of me was hoping Nick would be here.

"Looking for me?" A deep voice said and I jumped a little but calmed down after knowing who it was.

"In your dreams" I scoffed and he sat down beside me. He was wearing grey sweats and a light flowered shirt.

"I don't dream" he shrugged as he looked forward and my head snapped towards him.

"Weirdo" I muttered buvmade sure he heard me

"Dumbo"

"Jerk"

"Idiot"

"Deranged dick" I smirked, satisfied with my choice of words.

"Crazy pig" he said and I frowned.

"I'm not a pig! Why does everyone call me that!" I groaned and he chuckled.

"Because you are" he said and I glared at him.

"Fuck you" I said.

"Sure! When?" He said. Zoey was right, he does sleep around.

"You're disgusting!" I gagged and he laughed. Whoa! He laughed, I didn't think I'd live to ever see that.

"Stop staring, it's creepy. It makes me feel like you're judging me" he said with a small smile repeating every word I said the night he stayed in my room.

"I wasn't" I said looking away from him.

"Sure"he said. "Zoey returned the hoodie by the way and thanks for the not washing it"

"Oh! Sorry I didn't-"

"Do you have any idea the amount of germs that could have been there? I could feel them when I touched the hoodie" he shivered cutting me off.

"It wasn't even that dirty. Sorry" I said. "Besides how did you leave this morning?"

"The same way I came in" he said and looked at me hair which was still in the hairband.

"Oh" I nodded.

"You wanna swim?" He asks and u shoe my head vigorously.

"I don't want to see the boxers you wore this time" I added mocking him and he groaned.

"You're not going to let that go,are you?"

"Never" I laughed. " I'm sure you're wearing Sofia the first printed ones today" I said laughing harder and he turned red looking away from me.

"Oh my God! You are" I said in realization and he turned redder making me realize I was right.

"It's normal!"he defended and I continued laughing. I stopped and realized he was staring at me.

"What?" I asked feeling self conscious.

"You have terrible fashion sense" he said scanning my outfit. "Grey sweater on red sweats, really?"

"It doesn't matter, I'm not going out or something besides at least I don't own Sofia the First boxers" I retorted laughing again as he groaned placing his head in his palms.

Eli: what is going on? What choice of boxers does Nick have?

Zoey: He has-

Nick: Zoey!!!! *Cuts Zoey off*

Eddy: yeah, what choice?

Bex: Alex? How did you see Nick's boxers?

Alex: * is flustered*What do you mean?

Bex: oh? Nothing at all. *Winks at flustered Alex and changes subject* So how are my favorite ships doing? #Zoward

Nick: Zoward is the name a ship? What's a ship?

*Everybody stares at Nick in disbelief*

Writer : *to Nick* Sorry man, you're hopeless.. *to the audience* Anyways don't forget to vote-

Writer: *says nothing but continues staring at Eddy and Eli*
