No one's POV :

"Help!!. Guys!!".

Soarin ran to the camp. He had to get the word out and get help.

"Help!!",he shouted again.

The others came out of their tents quickly.

"Easy lad", Skyline said walking up to him.

"What is it??", Twilight asked.

"It's Applejack. They've got her!!".

The others and a few men gathered around Soarin.

"The savages got her", Soarin said breathless. "They dragged her off".

"Where to??", Twilight asked.

Soarin shrugged.

Meanwhile in a tent nearby, Filthy Rich, their leader and captain, was listening in. This was the perfect opportunity to get rid of those savages and dig for the gold. He came out.Soarin looked around at his friends.

"We've got to save her. She'd do the same for any of us", Skyline said.

Twilight nodded. "He's right".

"And so we shall!!".

The group turned and looked at their captain. He stood with a brave look on his face.

"I knew those savages couldn't be trusted. Applejack tried to befriend one of them, and look what happened".

The men nodded their heads.

"Well", Rich said. "I think we should rescue our brave friend. At daybreak, we attack and get revenge!!".

The group cheered. Except Twilight and Pinkie Pie who looked at eachother unsurely. The guns were passed out.

"You see!!. Those skins are nothing but hellish pets. I say they're only good when dead!!".

The men cheered in agreement.

"They're savages!!", one called. The men nodded.

"Yeah, savages!!", Filthy Rick exclaimed.

"Now we sound the drums of war!!".

Thunder (Rainbow's dad) looked around, frowning.

"This is what we feared. The pale skin is a demon", he said.

"The only thing feel is greed and wanting to take whatever they want".

"I wonder if they bleed since they're so empty inside", the elder of the tribe said angrily.

"They're savages!!", the men shouted.

"Killers at the heart. They're different so they can't be trusted".

The men nodded.

"We must sound the drums of war. But first we deal with that one", Thunder said pointing at a tied up Applejack.

"Then we sound the drums".

The men of the tribe got together their weapons, sharpening their spears and knives and bow arrows.

Both the natives and the settlers were preparing for war, angry at eachother more than they've ever been before.

"They're going to kill her at sunrise, Fluttershy".

Rainbow bowed her head in despair. She felt Tank nudging her comfortingly.

"Rainbow", Fluttershy said. "You can't give up. You must be on the right path".

Rainbow's head shot up.

"Well I was wrong. I followed the wrong path and now I feel so lost".

Rainbow buried her head into her knees and sulked. Suddenly she felt a nudge on her arm. She looked up at see Meko in front of of her holding something out.

Taking it she looked at it.

"It's a compass".

She looked down at the red arrow. It always pointed North.

"Hey Rainbow??", Fluttershy said. "Didn't you tell me that you had a dream about an arrow a few moons ago before??".

Rainbow nodded and looked up at her.

She had a dream of an arrow. No matter what way she turned the arrow was always pointing in the same direction. At a girl with blonde hair.

She had that dream often but it had went away after Applejack came into her life. Slowly her eyes widened as she came to realize something. Looking down at the compass, she turned it.

"A spinning arrow", she said out loud.

Fluttershy gasped. "That must be the arrow from your dream".

Rainbow looked at Meko and Tank.

"It was pointing to Applejack", she said smiling.

Suddenly something in the horizon caught her eye. Standing up and turned around. She frowned. The sun was coming up.

"Sunrise".

"It's not too late", Fluttershy.

"The spirits will guide you Rainbow", Fluttershy said smiling.

She placed a gentle hand her shoulder.

"You know which to go. Now follow it".

Rainbow looked up at the horizon. She knew where she had to go.

"C'mon guys!!".

Rainbow Dash, Meko, and Tank ran off. They hurried down out lf the first and into a rocky field.

"I don't know what I can do, but I've got to try", she said to herself.

Her feet went as fast as they could. Things flew by in as blur. Rainbow could see animal spirits leading her. She followed them across a field and over a hill.

She silently prayed to the spirits.

Eagle help my spirit fly. Moutain help my heart be great. Spirits of t he earth and sky, please. Please don't let it be too late.

She ran up a rocky mountain. She heard the drums banging. Her heart raced wildly in her chest. Rainbow could see the men from her tribe crowding around. She pushed through the crowd.

Breaking through she saw Applejack on the ground, her father standing over her, a club raised. He was about to kill her.

Rainbow run up to them. She was gunna do something stupid and crazy.

"No!!".

She threw herself over Rainbow, protecting her. Rainbow saw her father stop. He looked at her for a moment.

Rainbow was out of breath. She was able to call out, "If you kill her, you'll have to kill me too".

"Daughter. Stand back", her father ordered.

"No. I will not!!", she refused. She lifted her head and looked at him. Her glaring face softened.

"I love her father".

Everyone in her tribe gasped. Her father looked taken back. Rainbow sat up and looked around. She saw the other settlers with their guns. Then she looked at her own people.

Her tribe had their bow and arrows ready and aimed. Rainbow looked at her father.

"Look around you", she said boldly. "This is where hatred and anger has brought us. This is the wrong path".

Rainbow held on to Applejack's arm.

"This is my path, that I chose. What will yours be??".

Rainbow watched her father think. A wind blew by, leaves carried along. It seemed to surround her father, blowing his hair. Rainbow could feel her on hair blowing in the wind as she looked up at her father.

What was he thinking??.

Suddenly Thunder took the club with both hands and raised it over his head. That was the sign of peace.

The man looked around at both groups. He spoke loudly.

"My daughter speaks with the wisdom beyond her years. We've all come here with anger in us. But she comes with much courage and compassion and understanding".

He lowered the club.

"If there is to be any killing or war. It will not start with me".

Thunder turned around. He looked at one of the men.

"Release her".

The man walked up to Applejack and cut the rope off. Applejack got up and rubbed her wrist.

She looked up at Rainbow Dash. The two smiled and hugged. Rainbow couldn't be happier to be with Applejack again.

Twilight and Pinkie smiled at eachother.

"There's our chance!!", Filthy Rich exclaimed. "Fire!!".

The men and girls looked at him confused.

"But", Soarin said. "They let him go. They don't to go at war".

Filthy Rich looked around at the group. "It's a trick you see. They're evil. Fire".

Noone moved.

"Fine!!", he shouted. "I'll do it myself".

He marched up to Soarin angrily. Grabbing Soarin's gun he aimed at Thunder.

Applejack noticed. Oh no. She quickly ran up to the chief and pushed him out of the way.

Bang!! A shot rang out.
