Long ago lived a being, with a story strange indeed
this was the story of love, painfully decreed

The lady oxygen and mister carbon dioxide
Couldn't fit in love, no matter how they tried.

When one would enter in, the other was thrown out
Contrasting was their livelihood, without doubt.

She was its saviour, while he always fled
This cycle was much tiring and filled love with dread.

Together they couldn't survive in one place
Though its through them that love's heart could race.

Crazy it seems, but its how they function
For he was c' dioxide and she, oxygen.
