{Chapter 12}

{Previous: Something gives me the feeling I'm not gonna have much of a good night sleep. But what should I worry about more? Sleep or the fact I just made a deal with the king of the Nether? Either way I better at least try to get some sleep.}

Dark.
So.
Dark.

It's so cold and dark.
I hate this.
I feel alone.
I feel hollow.
Why is this feeling here??
I just need to... WAKE. UP.

My eyes shot open as I had awoken in a cold sweat. Was I.... Dreaming? I let out a heart felt sigh as I wiped my forehead. Yeah. Just a dream. A nightmare even. I wonder what Ron is doing. I sit up and rub the sleep out of my eyes. As I tried to pick out the little crusts in the corner of my eyes. I looked around the room. My bag was sitting next to Rons. Something glimmered off his bag that caught my eyes.
(I swear to god I read that and a song that was playing made a glimmer sound tf)
I climbed off my bed and landed on the floor with a thud. I got closer to the bag and took a look at the glistening object. It was a dog tag for a Obsidian Level miner. No.
NO NO NO.
NO IT IS REAL. THIS REALLY HAPPENED!
I stumble back a bit but with a shocked expression. Ron. Poor Ron. I looked down in silence. He didn't deserve to die. He was just trying to help out his family. Now, how am I supposed to break the news?? Who am I supposed to tell this to?? I would have to tell Notch he's dead. But. I stop in thought for a moment. The clear memory of HIM telling me that if I try to escape he will have his men hunt me down. So what's that supposed to mean?? I can't leave this place until I free him? But for all I know he could kill me at the end. But then, I recall another memory of when I willing agreed to help him. What would be the point? Would it even matter if I live or die? I'm just another human among this world with nothing left to lose. I frown a little. "Maybe a shower will help." I mumble to myself as I stood up and walked to the bathroom. Closing the door behind me, I turn on the sink and begin to wash my hands. I splash water in my face in a attempt to get a refresh feeling. I grab my towel beside me and rub my face before looking back into the mirror. I yelped aloud as I saw a man standing behind me in the reflection. It was him again! He grinned devilishly as I turn around. Stupid of me to do that. He wasn't there and I slammed a hand into my face before looking back at my reflection. He was nowhere in sight. Ok. Maybe I shouldn't take a shower since for all I know he could be in here watching me... pervert. I step out of the bathroom and reach for Ron's bag. I guess I could gather his personal belongings and salvage the rest. I open the bag and my eyes widen. Just sitting in there was the hand mirror I had found in the chest from the attic. Was Ron holding onto it all this time? I take a quick peak into the small mirror. As my hopes deceived me, Herobrine stood over me looking down into the mirror and the eyes of my reflection. I slam the mirror back in the bag out of panic. "Just what the hell do you want from me?" I asked without looking back. 'Stupid bedrock, we've discussed this last night. Or have you already forgotten?' The gods voiced boomed, making my head pound. "Right to free you. Then how do you expect me to do that?"
'Don't speak to me like that' his tone darkened to a grimace one, sending chills down my spine. 'As a miner and now my slave you will find the stronghold my physical form is trapped in. When finding it, you will open the walls to set me free. I'm sure you know what will happen if you refuse.' The god explained. Why does this feel so wrong? Freeing this god from being trapped to cause more havoc? But what does it matter? I agreed to it already so I can't refuse. Plus I don't want to spend the rest of my life being hunt down by mobs. Not like humans were being chased to begin with. "Ok but how do you expect me to just simply find your stronghold? For all I know it could be on the other side of the planet!"
'Stupid bedrock.'
"It's Y/N."
'I do not call mortals by there names but call them by the labels they are given. Now' I can hear faint foot steps walk beside me 'Finding my stronghold shouldn't be too hard since the majority of the what you call forbidden land's underground has already been searched over. And how I know that it's in this area?' There was a pause of silence. I felt so awkward just sitting there waiting for an answer that I'm tempted to ask him to move on. But he continued 'Let's say my soul can't exactly leave this part of the forbidden lands. There should be a map back in one of those chests showing how far out I can go. You would of seen it if you had yet to skim over it.' He sounded a little annoyed and impatient. I didn't have to see it I could hear. Not just in his voice but from the constant foot tapping on the wood beneath me. The tapping had halted. 'Well?' He spoke. "Well what?"
'Aren't you gonna get the map? You stupid mortals can't navigate without a map so go get it!' I jumped when his voices raised and quickly stumbled onto my feet and grabbed the latter to the attic.

(Sorry I've been late :P I'm starting to fall into the trap of losing motivation but I must continue to make you all happy!)
