Ch 35 Epilouge

A/N: Thank you so much guys for 3.2k+ views! It means a lot. Hope you guys liked the last chapter. As you can tell, this is the last chapter of this story. So this chapter won't have a date mentioned in the end *chuckles*. Read the A/N- oh wait, wait! Sorry, it's my habit to write it at the start of every chapter. *smiles sheepishly* But still, please check the A/N at the end, and the next chapter! On with the chapter!

Three years later

"What the hell, Mia?"

He was peacefully sleeping until a certain someone, his wife to be more specific, decided to put the muggle alarm clock next to him on the bed, hit him on his face with a pillow, and as if she had a doubt that he still won't wake up, threw a glass of cold water on his face.

He reluctantly woke up, and saw his wife standing next to his bed, her hands on her hips, glaring at him.

"It's about time you woke up." She said.

"About time? It's so early. Did you forget that today is a Sunday?" He asked her.

Hermione sat next to him on the bed and said, "It's not early, Draco. It's seven o'clock."

"And, I believe that's considered very early for a Sunday. Anyways, did you have any reason for waking me up except to tell me the time?" Draco asked her.

"Actually yes, I do. Somebody is coming to visit us today. That's why we stayed the night yesterday here, at the Manor, remember?" Hermione said.

"Who's coming to visit us?" He said while yawning.

"Did you honestly forget who's coming?" She asked him.

"Umm...yeah. Can I get a hint?" He asked.

"Well, let's see. The person to whom our almost seventeen- years- old love to bribe? And she never gives them detention if they break the school rules?" Hermione asked.

"Who is that- Oh, McGonagall? They still give her our pictures, and it works? And she and my mother won't even let us scold them. According to them, they are just 'kids'." Draco asked, shaking his head.

"Correct, Mr Malfoy. Ten points to Slytherin." Hermione said.

"Why, thank you, Mrs Malfoy." He said and smirked as she blushed. Almost two decades of being married, and she still blushed whenever he called her that.

"On a serious note, is she coming today?" He asked her.

"Yeah... In-" She checked her watch and said, "- about an hour."

He immediatley sat up on the bed. "Bloody hell. And you are telling me this now?" He exclaimed.

Hermione shot him a look, which clearly said are-you-kidding-me?

"I am sorry." He apologised, and added, "But why is she coming here? Hogwarts for our children doesn't start until next month."

"Your mother invited her here. Apparently, McGonagall wants to meet her grandchildren." Hermione said.

"Well, I certainly didn't expect to wake up like this." Draco grumbled as she stood up. But before she could walk away, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her down next to him.

"Draco? I need to go." She said.

"I can't meet her when I am in a bad mood. Just one kiss to make me feel better." Draco said, winking at her.

"What if someone walked in? You know that the nobody in this house knows how to knock, excluding me." Hermione said.

"Who will walk in? My father? He's probably sitting in the dining room, reading the Daily Prophet." He held up a finger as he said that.

"My mother? If she walked in, she would quickly accio your camera, and click our photo to put it in the already very thick photo album, which has our photos on every single page." He said, holding up two fingers.

"I am surprised she didn't make copies of it, and sell it to anyone, since she threatened to do so the last time you annoyed her." Hermione interjected.

"Anyways, who's next? Our kids? They are probably running around the house. The eldest will be planning another mischief, the fifteen-years old will be studying, the youngest will be planning another excuse for the troubles she has caused. And, now back to the topic of that kiss?" Draco asked, grinning at her.

"Prat." Hermione muttered and kissed him.

--------------

"Cissa! It's been so long since I have seen you." McGonagall said as she hugged her best friend. Narcissa hugged her back, before pulling away a few seconds later.

"It's only been three days. It's not that long. Besides you both talk everyday, whether through the patronuses or through your letters." Draco commented.

"Oh hush, Draco. You wouldn't say anything like that if you don't want me to give the copies of the album to anyone." Narcissa threatened him.

Draco rolled his eyes as McGonagall hugged him. He hugged her back with a smile on his face.

It didn't matter whether he got irritated by them when they used to favor Hermione over him, this woman had given him a second chance by allowing him to come back to Hogwarts, and was also one of the reasons why he and Hermione were together now.

He will forever be grateful to her for that. But that didn't mean he wouldn't get angry at them when they wouldn't listen to him, or agree to his choices.

"Be good, Draco." Hermione said as he pulled away from his former Headmistress. Hermione hugged her as well.

"I see that you still manage to put him in his place." McGonagall whispered to her.

Hermione laughed and pulled away from her. She loved that woman so much, and she was grateful to her, for giving her the position of Head Girl, and in a way it made her spend more time with Draco.

She was also thankful to her for taking care of their children in Hogwarts. She knew it wasn't easy to handle one of them, and here she was, handling all of them.

"I still don't understand how you manage to handle all of them, Minerva. It is really difficult for Draco and me to handle them." Hermione said. McGonagall had insisted them to call her Minerva, and in turn, they had asked her to call them by their names.

"I had handled you, Draco and your other friends. Believe me, they are only a little harder to handle than you all." She said, smiling at them.

"Okay, okay! Let's go to the dining hall. We can talk more there." Narcissa said, clapping her hands.

She took Minerva's arm, and led her to that room. Before they could go into that room, Draco managed to catch a few words of what his mother told Minerva.

"You know, they just went to a date yesterday. Draco had planned such a sweet surprise for her..."

He rolled his eyes and said to Hermione, "We should better go before she starts telling her about everything."

He took her hand in his, and led her towards the dining hall. "And, you think that us going there would stop them?" Hermione shook her head.

------------

"And, there are my favourite children in the whole world!" Minerva said as the five children ran towards her.

They immediately engulfed her in a big hug. She squeezed them gently, before pulling away and kissing each of their foreheads.

"Don't you think she told us that we were her favourite children at our wedding? That's cheating." Draco whispered to Hermione.

Hermione just rolled her eyes at him in reply. It wasn't the first time he had told her that. He would say that everytime Minerva came to the Manor.

"Where are our gifts, granny?" Scorpius asked her.

"Scorpius! Don't be rude. Apologize right now." Hermione scolded him.

"It's okay, Hermione. I don't mind. And, as for your question, Scorpius, your gifts are in the living room." Minerva smiled at them.

"You scold them, and she talks sweetly to you. Whereas the moment I scold them, she will start scolding me. It's not fair." Draco muttered.

As soon as they heard that, Scorpius and Lyra turned towards the living room, and then looked at each other, as if silently challenging each other to see who reached the room first.

But before they could run away, Draco placed his hands on their shoulders, turning them around. "What do you both say to her?" He asked them.

"We say, we shouldn't waste time to open our gifts." They both said in unison.

"No, you dumbo duo. We say thank you." Draco said.

"She knows that we appreciate this, and that we lover her. Perhaps you should change that title you gave us, and maybe try to catch up a bit, huh?" They again said in unison, and before he could stop them, ran towards the living room.

The other three kids thanked their granny, and followed their siblings to the room.

"Draco! How many have I told you to not scold them! And, stop calling them that name. Or, I will tell Peeves to tell the kids that you became a ferret in your fourth year." Minerva threatened him.

"And you wonder why I don't like it when she comes here." Draco told Hermione.

"What can I say? It's your fault." Hermione told him.

"Great, my own wife is supporting them." He rolled his eyes.

"What did I miss?" Lucius said as he entered the room.

Minerva shook his hand, saying, "Nothing. I was just threatening Draco to do something, which I am sure he wouldn't like me to do."

"I am sure it was completely his own fault. Don't worry, he's like that from his childhood." Lucius said.

"Are you all done making fun of me? Or, should I just leave the room? Nobody is ever on my side." Draco said, sighing.

"Don't be such a grumpy pants, Draco." Narcissa said, patting his cheeks.

"Come on, let's eat, and then go to the living room. James will be here soon to meet Lyra." Hermione said.

"And, should I be happy about that?" Draco asked as they all sat down.

But as usual, no one paid attention to him.

----------

"So, is the end of the year ball still happening?" Leighton asked Minerva as everyone took their places on the couches and armchairs.

Some like Scorpius, James, Lucas, Leighton, and Samuel sat down on the floor as well.

Hermione smiled as she looked at everyone. The Zabinis, Potters, Weasleys and Notts have arrived shortly after they had eaten their lunch. All of them were excited to meet McGonagall, it had been months since they had seen her.

Who knew that one day they would all be sitting here, having fun. If someone had told Hermione this in her first year, she would have thought that the person had gone nuts.

The Zabini family, consisting of Luna and Blaise Zabini were sitting on the couch. Their twin sons, Lucas William Zabini and Leighton Vincent Zabini were sitting on the floor in front of the couch. Lucas was the best friend of Albus and Samuel, the three being in Slytherin. Whereas, Leighton was in Ravenclaw, but was the best friend of Andrew. Luna was the writer for The Quibbler, and Blaise was one of the best Aurors.

Next to them, the Potters were sitting. Ginny and Harry Potter were sitting on the couch with their daughter, Lily Luna Potter. Their sons, James Sirius and Albus Severus were sitting on the floor.

James was Scorpius' best friend, despite the fact that the former was in Gryffindor. Albus was the Slytherin Chaser with Samuel. Lily was in Ravenclaw, and was best friends with Cressida and Sophia. Ginny was the Chaser for Holyhead Harpies, but she had retired last year, and was now working as a writer for the Sports section of the Daily Prophet. Harry was the Head of the Auror Department.

On the adjacent couch, the Weasleys were sitting. Ron, with his wife Esthenia, sat on the couch. Their two daughters, Charlotte Eleanor and Sophia Lydia were sitting on the armchairs next to their parents. Charlotte was a good friend of Lyra, but the best friend of Savannah. She was in Gryffindor in Lyra's year. Sophia, Gryffindor just like her sister, was in Lily's year. Ron was a Auror as well, and Esthenia worked in the Ministry.

Next were the Notts. Pansy and Theo were sitting on the couch with their daughter, Savannah Kaely Nott was sitting with them. She was in Ravenclaw, and was a Chaser. Her two years younger brother, Samuel Kaleb Nott, was in Slytherin. Pansy had opened a boutique a while ago, and was quite successful as well. Theo was a Healer in St Mungo's.

Lastly, the Malfoys were sitting next to them. Hermione and Draco were on the couch, their daughters on the armchairs, and their sons on the floor. Scorpius Jacob Malfoy was the Slytherin team's Captain and Seeker, whereas his younger brother was the Gryffindor Seeker. Scorpius' twin, Lyra Juliette Malfoy was in Slytherin, and the two years younger Elara Nicole Malfoy was the Gryffindor Chaser. The youngest of them, Cressida Raelie Malfoy was in Ravenclaw, and had immense love for books just like her mother.

Hermione was the youngest Minister of Magic, and the first thing she did when she became one was to remove Rita Skeeter from the Ministry. Draco was the owner of Malfoy Industries, and had combined Muggle Technology with magic, one of the most successful companies in the world.

Hermione's parents were sitting next to them, Narcissa, Lucius and Minerva on the next couch.

"Yes. But it is for fifth years and above only." Minerva told them.

"It's not fair. We will go into our fourth year at Hogwarts this year. We want to go to the Ball as well." Cressida said, and Lily and Sophia nodded in reply.

"Ball is for big kids, kiddo. Wait one more year, and then you will be able to come. But who knows? Maybe it will only be for sixth years and above next time." Lyra teased her sister.

"Don't worry, Cressi. Though the Ball is only for fifth years and above, but if someone from those years invited someone from younger years, then they could go with them. So, if someone from those years asks you, then you will be able to go." Minerva informed them.

"Yay! Then we can still go together, Cressi." Albus grinned at her, but realised his mistake a little too late.

"When did you both plan this?" Draco asked them.

"Umm..." Albus scratched the back of his neck. "Well, Scorpius, Lyra and James heard some Professors talking about the end of year ball on our last day of school before summer break, and they told us. Me and Cressida confessed our feelings for each other during Easter holidays, and so we are going together." He finished.

"I should have known that you three would be there. I thought I saw you three, but I wasn't sure." Minerva grinned at them.

"We decided that we would allow fifth years and above, because I have no doubt that you all will manage to bring firewhiskey, and I don't want younger students to drink it, accidently or not." She added.

"So, who is going with whom?" Narcissa asked them.

The children looked at each other, and then started saying in unison, resulting in their parents understanding nothing they said.

"Okay, okay! One by one everyone." Harry told them.

Scorpius stood up first, helping Savannah up as well. "As you know, I asked her to be my girlfriend this summer, so of course we are going together." He told them, and she nodded as well.

"We started dating three years ago, and still are, so as soon as I heard about the Ball, I asked her. And, fortunately, she said yes." James grinned, his arm around Lyra's shoulders.

"I am still not happy about it." Draco muttered, causing Hermione to nudge him on his side with her elbow.

Andy intertwined his fingers with Lily, and said, "As you all know, we started dating on Christmas. So, we are going together."

Theo looked at the remaining children, and asked, "I assume you all are going with your girlfriends and boyfriends?"

They nodded and stood up. Elara stood next to Lucas, Sophia and Leighton were standing together. And, lastly, Charlotte and Samuel were standing next to each other.

Suddenly, they heard a 'click'.

Draco looked around to see his mother holding a camera in her hand.

"What's this for?" He asked her.

"I am going to add these pictures in the other album that I have. Don't worry, Draco, my first album if of course only about you and Hermione." She winked at him.

She bewitched the camera to hand in mid air, and joined the others.

"Everyone say cheese in one, two, THREE!" She yelled.

Everyone did as she said, but then there was one person who didn't.

"Apple!" Draco yelled and they laughed at him. "I don't like cheese." He shrugged.

-----------

"Hermione, wake up."

She did the opposite, and snuggled closer to him.

"Wake up, Mia." Draco tried again, but she didn't budge.

He sighed and thought, 'If she doesn't wake up now, I might have to do what she did to wake me up. But that won't end in a good way for me. See, I am so good and kind.'

"Mia, wake up. We have to go to Platform nine and three quarters today, and we have only got ten minutes until the train leaves." He whispered in her ear.

This time, Hermione immediately woke up. "Why didn't you wake me up earlier? We have just got ten minutes? Are the children ready? Merlin, they need to eat their breakfast. And, their trunks? They have their pets in their cages, right? Or, are they roaming around the house? And, are Narcissa and Lucius here? They told me they wanted to come. And, my parents? Are they coming here or meeting us at the station? And, why aren't you ready yet? Is-" She rambled.

Draco quickly cut her off with a kiss. When he pulled back after a few moments, he smirked at her. "Relax, Mia. We still have three hours before the train leaves." He said.

He thought that she would thank him for waking her up, but that didn't happen. Instead:

She punched his chest again and again until he grabbed her hand in his.

"Ow... What was that for?" He asked her, rubbing his chest with his hand.

"For scaring me. You could have just told me to wake up, and I would have done that. Stupid person." She said.

"Ohh, I didn't even thought about that. Thanks for telling me." He said sarcastically.

"You're welcome." Hermione said, who didn't understand the sarcasm.

"Now you are the idiot one here, not understanding my sarcasm. I tried waking you up nicely, but you didn't even open your eyes, so I had to do it. You were lucky that I didn't try to wake you up the way you did to me." He told her.

"Oh, my dear Draco-" he still blushed whenever she said that, "-it is you who is lucky here. You know it wouldn't have been good for you of you tried to do that." She smirked the famous Malfoy smirk at him.

He gulped. 'Twenty seven years since I met her, and she's still scary.'

Hermione laughed at him, and leaned in to give him a kiss. As she pulled away, she pecked his cheek, and said, "Come on. Get up, Draco. Remember, you told me we will go on a date after seeing off our children."

This immediately changed his mood.

-------------

"Okay, so you all have your things?" Hermione asked them.

They nodded.

"Your books, quills, cauldrons, robes, clothes?" She asked.

They nodded in reply.

"Scorpius, Andrew and Elara, you three have your brooms?" She asked.

The three nodded.

"Mia, relax. We aren't doing this for the first time. This is our sixth time doing this, and you still act like it is our first." Draco said as he kissed his wife's cheek.

"Ewww, Dad. No PDA in front of us." Scorpius said.

"And, I will say the same thing whenever Savannah is with you. Keep it in mind, Scorp." Draco smirked at his eldest son.

Scorpius returned the smirk, as Hermione shook her head at them. This happened everytime Draco kissed her in front of their children.

"Come here, you five. Here are all your treats and pranking items you all wanted." Narcissa said and Lucius handed them their items.

"Peeves will be happy to see these." Lyra told her twin brother.

"Mother, father, I told you not to get them those pranking items. You know how much trouble they cause." Draco said.

"You act like you were very innocent, Draco. Maybe you should remember the time when you went to the Forbidden Forest in your first year." Lucius said.

"Why is it always me? Can't they insult anyone else?" Draco told Hermione.

"You're just really easy to tease, Draco." Hermione pulled his cheek.

"Hey, Savvy!" Scorpius yelled as his girlfriend came towards them. He kissed her cheek, wrapping his arm around her waist.

"Ewww, Scorp. No PDA in front of me." Draco repeated his son's line. Everyone laughed as he and Savannah blushed.

Their friends also walked towards them, their parents following them. They greeted each other, while telling their children to write letters to them.

Soon, they heard the whistle of the Hogwarts' Express. "Minnie- I mean, Minerva will meet you all at Hogwarts. Remember to visit her in her office if she forgets." Narcissa told them.

"I doubt she will forget. She waits for them in front of the Great Hall at the start of every term." Harry said, making everyone laugh.

Hermione turned to her children and said, "Remember to write letters at least once everyday, okay?"

They nodded and hugged her one by one. Draco hugged his children as well. "I love you all, and I will always be proud of you, never forget that." He told them, kissing their foreheads.

Hermione did the same and said, "I love you all as well. Take care, and don't forget to complete your homework on time, okay?"

"We love you both as well!" The children said in unison.

Narcissa and Lucius hugged their grandchildren, and Hermione's parents, Jean and Paul, repeated their actions.

"Use those items nicely, okay? And don't worry, we will scold your father if he scolds you." Narcissa smiled at them.

"Maybe you can ask the Hogwarts' ghosts about some things about your father that you can use to blackmail him." Lucius told them.

The children climbed the train, and sat down in two adjacent compartments. They kept their trunks, and their pets' cages. As the train slowly started moving, they yelled 'I love yous' to their parents.

Their parents yelled the same, and reminded them to write letters.

As the train left the platform, Narcissa told her son, "Me and Lucius are going home. I want to talk to Minnie." Lucius nodded and apparated back to their Manor.

Draco wrapped his hand around his wife's waist, kissing her forehead. "I believe we have a date to go to, Mrs Malfoy." He grinned at her.

She kissed him and said, "I love you, Draco."

And, his reply was enough to make her smile widely. "I love you too, Mia. I am still grateful to you for giving me this another chance."
