Adri(Adrienne) sighed as she walked to her room in Hades' palace. Why did she have a room in the Underworld?? 'Cuz it was her home and stayed there when she wasn't collecting misbehaving souls for her father.

          "You have your own room here??" asked Nico, who seemed to step out of the shadows. Though Adri didn't visibly jump, her brain almost had a heart attack, if that makes any sense. "Yeah!! I do.. I stay here when I'm not hunting souls or entertaining children in hospitals..." she answered, her handing dragging along on the wall beside her.

          "So.. D'you have any idea why we were 'summoned'??" Nico implored. "No idea whatsoever. I was just told to get you.." Adri said, humming a low tune. "So..uh.. How long have you been here??" Nico asked again, trying to sound casual, but he realized it hadn't worked when Adri turned to face him and asked him "Oh! I didn't realize I was being interrogated!!" in a tone of fake innocence.

          Kinda embarrassed, Nico stammered out saying he was just curious and that was all. Laughing a little laugh, Adri, told him to shut up and go get ready because she had a feeling that they were going to have a long and ominous quest.

          Nico and Adri met outside the throne room's door where they were told to wait because the gods inside were having a serious discussion. Finally able to walk in, Adri observed how Hades looked livid, Persephone looked exasperated and Thanatos looked as if he were in deep thought. "Ahh... The demigods have arrived.." said Persephone, stating the obvious, but grabbing the other two gods' attention.

          "Children.. The information we hold is rather serious.. So we'll.. uh.. cut to the chase, as you mortals say." began Hades, and Thanatos continued, "Greek and Roman deities aren't the only gods to share this universe. There are others too, but today, we'll be discussing about the Norse ones." To this, Adri raised a timid hand, and began speaking when Thanatos nodded his head. "The Norse ones.. Like, Odin, Thor and Loki??"

          "Precisely.." It was Persephone, this time. "I do not know whether you know this, but your friend, Annabeth Chase, has a cousin, who is the offspring of the Norse deity of peace and fertility, rain, and sunshine. You both were chosen by the Underwordly council, to go work with them on a quest to save the world as you know it."

          "And why exactly should we save the world, once again??" asked Nico incredulously. "Lady Persephone, I must agree with Nico. Why should we save the world?? Haven't we demigods given enough??" "Because, you'll have to do this for your friends and family, Adri and Nico. I understand where you are coming from. We, gods, haven't been the nicest bunch, but.. Do this for the sake of the mortals living here. You may not believe this, but everyone is depending on you and the other two demigods who will accompany you."

          "Why can't some other demigods go in our place??" Adri demanded, looking at all three of the gods in front of her. "Because, this is a quest that only we three know of. We've told my brother, but he feels that these steps we are taking are unnecessary. So, you can call this a secret mission, if you'd like, but you must go!! And that is FINAL!!" told Hades, his voice thundering.
          "Fine.. We're going!!" Grumbled Adri, with a sigh of defeat. Nico didn't say much, because he knew he lost this one. They were going to meet Annabeth's cousin and someone else and will have to save the world in secret. Great, just GREAT!!
