Bunker Hill (ominous music starts playing)

"OooOhh!! Lots of death here, don't you think??" Adri asked Nico, her tone casual, like she was saying 'hey--lots-of-pollution-don't-you-think??' "Yeah.. Lots of angry, devastated spirits too... Gives me the creeps..." Nico murmured, slowly walking off to the left. "If something's giving Nico di Angelo the creeps, then I don't wanna meet it.." Adri announced, going in the other direction.

Adri concentrated and had a few ghosts pop up. "I-I What happ- Who are you?? M-My wife, have you seen her??" a panicked ghost mumbled, trying to take Adri by her shoulder, but failing miserably, saying, y'know, he was a ghost. He looked at his hands in disbelief. "Sir, umm.. It's been nearly 250 years since you've passed on. Please, would you be able to help us??" Adri asked him calmly.

Nico walked over to Adri and stood behind her. The confused ghost looked at them both and asked them what help they'll be needing. "Before I've called you out, where were you??" "I-Uh... Don't remember, actually..." he looked panicked again. "My-My wife!! Have you seen her??" he asked, kind of like a broken record, replaying everything in a loop. Adri felt bad. "D'you have a photo??" she asked, not unkindly.

The soldier reached into his pocket and pulled out a photo of a young smiling woman. Adri concentrated and called upon the woman's spirit. The soldier gave a sob and rushed to embrace his wife's ghost.

Adrienne took Nico's hand and dragged him away so they could give the dead couple a moment. "You can do that!!" he whisper-yelled, bewildered. "Heh, yeah.." she started slowly. "But, I don't do it, because it drains me to concentrate on a specific spirit and call them.." Sure enough, Nico noticed how Adri's usually bronze skin seemed paler than usual and how she was slightly slouching.

"Yeah, I can see that. But, we didn't get any information, did we??" he asked. "Nuh uh.." Adri drawled. Nico looked behind Adri and his eyes slightly widened. "Uhh.. Adri, I have a feeling those ghosts shouldn't be looking that human..." he said nervously. "I- Oh schist!! They're feeding off of my energy." Adri replied, squinting her closed eyes and grunting. Nico watched carefully as the ghosts turned to wisps of silver and blew of in the wind.

Turning his attention back to his companion, he realized she was struggling to stand straight. He caught her as she fell into his arms. "Sorry.." she muttered before her vision went black. He heaved sigh and picked her up. She wasn't too heavy. The little Will Solace in his head told him her weight wasn't healthy. He shut the voice and walked over to the shadow of a tree.

🖤🖤🖤One shadow-y trip later🖤🖤🖤

"Hey ma- Is she okay??" Magnus asked as Nico walked into the library, still carrying the unconscious Adri. "Oh yeah. She fainted after reuniting two ghostly lovers. Nothing to worry about. Also, when will Alex arrive??" "Oh."Magnus said as if that wasn't weird at all. Because it wasn't. "Somewhere between 15 to 30 minutes." Magnus said. "Also, why are you both awake? Well, why are you up so early??"

"We went to Bunker Hill." "Oh" was all Magnus said, again. Nico turned and marched towards their bedroom and laid Adri on her bed. He knew about how cold she got, so he splayed a blanket over her and removed her shoes. Soon after he left to find some food that wasn't ice cream.
