*Daryl's POV*

I woke up on my cot inside the prison and looked next to me. Skyar was still sound asleep her hair laying fanned out on the pillow. Gently I ran my fingers in her hair and smiled at her. She was so beautiful she was my fiance and soon she would be my wife and I was madly in love with her. Leaning over I kissed her cheek and she stirred but didn't wake up and gently I slid off the cot and went down the stairs. Merle was stuffing his face full of noodles at one of the tables.

"Hey little brother"

"Hey" I said as I got noodles and sat down with him.

Everything was silent for a few minutes and you could feel the awkwardness in the air. The man sitting next to me was my brother and I loved him but at the same time he wasn't my brother he wasn't the man I once knew. We drifted and I became closer to the group and it hurt but Merle was my blood and would always be a part of me. There was something that had been bothering me.

"Merle" I said.

"Yeah?"

"I have to ask you something. Why did you kidnap Glenn and Maggie?" I asked him.

He looked at me and stopped eating.

"I wanted to find you and they wouldn't tell me where you were"

"So you captured them?" I asked.

"Yeah but that's all in the past so leave it behind there" he explained to me.

I sighed and hung my head and got up walking away.

"Where are you going?"

"Nowhere...but I would like my brother back" I walked out the prison doors.

*Skylar's POV*

When I woke up Daryl was already gone. I sat up wincing at my pain but managed to make it into a sitting position. That's when Beth came out of a cell and smiled at me.

"Hey" she said with a smile.

"Hey" I told her wiping the sleep from my eyes and yawning.

Beth sat down on the cot woth me as she held Judith it kinda hurt that Lori wasn't here anymore. I smiled at Judith.

"You're good with her" I said.

She smiled and bounced Judith a little.

"I always wanted a baby."

Things were silent for a second and then I smiled at her and felt gitty for what I was about to tell her.

"I was going to wait to tell everyone when we were all together but you're going to be the first to know. But you have to promise to keep it a secret."

Beth looked at me with interest and I took a deep breath. I lowered my voice and leaned closer to her.

"Daryl asked me to marry him last night and I said yes."

"Oh my god!" Beth squealed.

I shushed her and we both giggled and she leaned forward gently hugging me with Judith between us.

"I'm so happy for you Skylar. We will plan a great wedding"

"I don't even need a wedding. Not much to plan anyway we live in a prison, I'll be with Daryl same as always."

*Daryl's POV*

I was walking the forrest and hunting for some squirrels and I wanted to get out. I was walking and then I heard a twig snpa behind me and I turned and seen a man. He looked maybe a little older than Glenn and he was dirty from head to toe. He had sandy blond hair and briwn eyes. I aimed my crossbow at him and he froze.

"Who are you? What do you want?" I growled.

He held up his hands and looked at me nervously.

"My name is Jesse I was looking for food. I didn't mean to startle you, I'm sorry."

I didn't lower my crossbow. I just looked at him, he looked so innocent and he was obviously on the road for a while.

"Do..do you have a camp?"

I looked at him up and down he didn't seem to have any weapons on him at all. Just a shirt and pants but he was filthy. He slowly lowered his hands and they fell to his sides.

"I have a camp"

"Could I possibly come back with you?" he asked.

I lowered my crossbow but my guard was up and Id be prepared for anything.

"Do you have any things you need to collect?" I asked.

He nodded and we walked back to where he kept his stuff.

We weren't far from the prison when Jesse tried to start a conversation.

"Have you always known how to shoot a crossbow?"

I grunted in response as the prison came into view. I heard Jesse gasp.

"You live here?"

"Yeah."

i seen everyone was out enjoying the sun and my eyes scanned and seen who I was looking for. My fiance was standing with Rick and they were talking. I came back in from the whole in the fence and Jesse followed with his stuff and we opened the gate. People gave me a curious stare and skylar came running up to me with a smile but then stopped dead in her tracks her smile fading.
