*Daryl's POV*

I stood next to my brother and he made the crowd get hyped and then punched me I fell to the ground. And he kicked I rolled in pain and when he came at me that's when  I punched him stunning him. He got on me and put his arms around my neck and I did the same.

"You really think this assholes gunna let you go?" I said.

"Just follow my lead little brother,  we're gettin out of this. Right now!"

That's when he pulled me up with him and  we started to fight off the walkers.  And then gunfire sounded taking out some of the lights and one girl.

"Merle come on"

We ran and I grabbed my crossbow from a pain and Merle hit him knocking him out.  That's when I seen Rick and Maggie. Oscar didn't make it.

"They're all at the arena come on" Merle told us running to the doors that kept people out.

"You're not going anywhere with us"

"You really wanna do this now?" Merle said.

"Come on."

We all left Woodbury.

*Skylar's POV*

I was on watch at the gates and frantically waiting for them to return. They had been gone all night and now I getting worried.

"They're okay Sky" Carl said coming from behind me.

I looked behind me and then back out waiting.

"I hope so."

I was worried sick I wanted them to all come back.  Just know they were safe they would make me feel so much better.

*Daryl's POV*

We came walking up and Glenn came closer then pulled his gun.

"What the hell is he doing here?!"

Michonne pulled her sword.

"He tried to kill me!"

Everyone was yelling and Rick was trying to make them drop their weapons.

"Hey get that thing outta my face!" I yelled looking at Glenn.

"Damn looks like you've gone native brother" Merle said with a laugh.

I turned back to him.

"No more than you hanging out with that physco back there!"

"Oh yeah man he is a charmer. Been putting a wood to your girlfriend Andrea."

"Andrea's in Woodbury?" Glenn asked.

"Right next to the governor" I said.

Merle chuckled and mocked Rick I turned to him.

"Merle shut up!"

"Shut up yourself bunch of pussies you-"

He was knocked down by being hit in the back of the head and he fell to the ground.

We were talking and no one wanted to bring Merle back to the prison besides me.

"You really want him sleeping in the same  cell block with Skylar?" Glenn asked.

"He ain't a rapist."

"His buddy is" Glenn said.

"They ain't buddies no more not after last night. So what you gunna cut him lose and bring la samari home?" I asked angry.

"She's not coming back-"

"She's not in a state to be on her own" Maggie reminded us.

"We don't who she is. Merle, Merle's blood"

Glenn stepped closer and looked at me seriously.

"No Merle is your blood. My blood my family is standing right here and waiting for us back at the prison"

"And you're part of that family" Rick continued.

"No him no me. It was always Merle and I before this. We'll fend for ourselves"

I walked over to the car opening the trunk and grabbing my bag and the rest of my arrows. Rick came up to to me and tried to convince me to stay.  I closed the trunk.

"No him no me. Say good to Hershel for me,  take care of little ass kicker and Carl..he's one tough kid."

"What about Skylar?" Rick asked.

It almost made me rethink leaving but I wanted my brother as well.

"She'll understand."

I walked back to Merle who was getting up and we walked away from the group. The people who had my back.
