Chapter 10:

Brandon

I kept stealing glances at her while I drove. She looked so beautiful laying against Corey's chest, her cheeks flushed, and her messy hair. Damn, I tugged at my pants, trying to readjust them. Clearing my throat, I tapped her arm, "Hey beautiful, we just got off the causeway. We should be at your house in about ten minutes."

She stretched like a cat with a huge grin, then made a small gasping sound, "Are, are you mad at me?"

"What, why would you think that, baby?" I asked her.

"Well, Corey, I did, um, he, uh..." she struggled to find the words.

I chuckled, "You let Corey spank you, then he slid his fingers in your sweet little pussy and gave you an orgasm, baby. Is that what you're trying to say?"

Her face and neck blossomed with crimson as she held her hands over her face, muttering, "Yes, sir."

I laughed again, "No beautiful, I'm not mad, maybe a bit envious that it wasn't me, but definitely not mad. That's the whole point with polyamory, Mattie. I expect you to be intimate - at whatever level you want - with each of us. It isn't about first or last, it's about us making sure you are taken care of, provided for, and know that you are precious to all of us."

"But how is that fair to the five of you? Or would you all still date women other than me, or men if that's a preference?" she asked.

"Um, no, and yes," I said. "Other women would be a hard no. As for men, well that's part of the discussion we need to have tonight or when we can. There are some dynamics within our family, but it isn't my place to share those without all persons present. Sorry if that sounds like an excuse."

She thought for a moment, "No, I understand, and we are just considering this. I'm sure there will be lots of discussions along the way. You can't know someone overnight."

I put my hand on her knee, "And that thinking right there is why I know this is going to work, beautiful. So what's the plan, should I wait in the car, or come inside?"

She grinned as we pulled into the driveway, "Oh you're coming in. I'm not facing my MawMaw on my own, buddy."

She giggled as I took her hand and she led me into the house.

Mattie

I'd made it about six steps inside the door before Violet came running down the stairs.

"Mama!" she squealed, then came to a screeching halt when she saw Brandon.

"Hey Bebe, this is Mama's friend, Brandon. He's friends with Axel," I told her and she relaxed.

She looked up at him and motioned for him to bend down, then stuck out her hand, "Hello, I'm Violet."

Brandon grinned, "Hello Violet, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Brandon," he answered as he shook her hand. Oh boy, big mistake. I giggled as she wrapped her fingers around his and tugged him forward instantly, dragging him up the stairs to her room.

"Come on, I want to show you the stingray, Axie bought me," she said, "It's ginormous!"

I laughed as I watched him helplessly follow her while giving me a playful glare. "Good luck," I called out to him, then headed to the kitchen to speak with MawMaw.

"You're home early, Cher," she said, looking up from her magazine and coffee. "So is that beau number one or beau number two the bebe is dragging around?"

I giggled, "Beau number one." She arched an eyebrow. "Actually, they invited us over for supper so that I can meet their last brother Marc and they can meet you and Violet."

"Hmm," she hummed. "You know, I have my shows tonight and I'd hate to miss 'em. How about you and Violet go on without me, Cher."

"Are you sure, MawMaw? I don't want to leave you here all alone," I said.

She snorted, "Cher, I'm alone all day while Bebe is at school. I'll be fine. Besides, with you two gone, I can fall asleep in front of the tv," she chuckled, "and no one will complain about me snoring." I just rolled my eyes, until she added, "And you need to figure out what's best for you and Bebe without an old woman around."

"MawMaw," I gasped.

"Don't MawMaw, me, Cher. I saw how those men looked at you. Like something precious. If the others are looking the same way, well, then you got some decisions to make. Don't let anyone pressure you into anything, Cher. Not even me. You know what is right for you and Violet. Listen to your heart."

I felt tears spilling and swiped them away quickly as I hugged her tight, "Thanks MawMaw. I promise to be smart, and if we decide to do this, then I'll give you first dibs on scaring all of them," I giggled.

She cackled and swatted my bottom, "Now scoot. Take that Bebe and go have dinner with your beaus."

I nodded and went upstairs to change and collect Brandon and Violet. Apparently, he'd already explained we were going to their house for dinner. She was drilling him with questions about their house. "I don't know BB, it sounds kinda boring," she told him. "I mean, you don't even have toys or a dog." She gave an exaggerated expression as she started collecting 'important' items she just had to bring.

I figured I'd better step in before she packed the whole room. "Bebe, you can bring one bag. If it won't fit, then it can't come. We aren't moving in, Violet, just having dinner."

I didn't miss when Brandon muttered, "Not yet anyway," under his breath with a sly smirk. Twenty minutes and one crying puppy-face negotiation later we were on the road to their house. "Hey beautiful, text the guys that we're on our way, please," he asked me as we drove.

Violet giggled, "He called you beautiful, Mama."

"That's because she is beautiful, and so are you, precious," he told her.

"What does that mean, BB?" she asked.

"Precious means something special and rare, just like you, Violet." She giggled wildly at his explanation while I sent the message.

Mattie: We are headed to the house. MawMaw is not joining us. Brandon says our ETA is forty-five minutes

Corey: Sounds good, little one. We are all excited to meet Violet and see you

Marc: I went for the basics for dinner. Bacon cheeseburger sliders and sweet potato fries

Mattie: That sounds great Marc! Thank you 😀

Axel: I'm on the road. ETA fifteen minutes

Raven: I'm wearing pants!

Mattie: ummm...okay?

Corey: Sometimes Raven prefers to forget clothing at home. We may have threatened to lock him in the closet if he didn't get dressed for the evening.

Mattie: Oh, yeah, sorry Raven, you have to keep pants on around Violet

Raven: Hmmm...you didn't say I had to keep pants on around you, krolik

Mattie: 😊 Well, on that note, I'll see you gentlemen soon!

Marc: Ohh, I saw what she did there...very slick...

I closed my phone and giggled. Brandon gave me a questioning look, "Nope, not a Bebe-friendly topic."

He nodded and simply said, "Raven." I couldn't stop the fit of giggles that ensued.

When Brandon pulled into their driveway, my mouth dropped. I mean I knew they were wealthy, they're freaking lawyers, but this was way more than I expected. He drove us into the garage and opened the door for us. We entered a small foyer and I heard voices coming nearer.

"Hey Princess," Axel said as Violet charged toward him squealing as he lifted her on his shoulders. He leaned over and kissed my cheek, "Hey love," then asked Violet, "Let's go see what Marc needs help with in the kitchen, okay?" She nodded and they headed toward the left.

Raven came forward and gave me a big hug, "Welcome krolik," then placed a soft kiss on my lips. Just as Corey was about to hug me I heard Violet squealing.

"Mama, Mama, he has eyes like mine!" I stepped into the kitchen and gasped, instantly feeling dizzy. Violet was pointing at a man wearing a silly apron with brown hair and heterochromatic eyes. He looked like he'd seen a ghost as he looked at Violet and then locked eyes with me.

"Angel?" he said with a strained voice.

"Nova? I gasped.

"Hey, that's my middle name," Violet announced, "Violet Nova Theriot."

I swear I heard an ocean swallowing me whole.
