The two players went over to their Ace.

Keith: *Sigh* Looks like it's just gonna be a bore again.

Keith looked over at Sae.

Keith: I'm surprised you could find me there. Props Sae.

He turned around, about to walk away.

Sae: I wouldn't let your guard down, moron.

Keith stopped dead in his tracks, turning back to face Sae.

Keith: What?

Sendo: Hey, he just scored a goal!!

Aiku: Come on guys, let's play nice.

Keith: Zip it for now, both of you.

Keith looked at Sae with genuine confusion.

Keith: Who exactly would I have to watch out for?

Sae: Two players in particular.

Sae nudged his head to Ryu.

Sae: You never know how Ryu Kaizen will respond to goals like that. We might've just helped them.

Keith: What? You two got history?

Sae: ... Something like that.

Gagamaru: Dang it... I thought I totally had that one.

Aryu: That would've been a stylish save.

Azure: Don't beat yourself up about it Gagamaru. This is your first time playing as a Goalie, so it makes sense that you couldn't stop a world class player's shot.

Niko: But still, to think that he was able to score from that area. A perfect defense followed by a quick counter. With Sae Itoshi, their strategy has become significantly better.

Ryu was thinking as well, not saying much out loud.

Ryu: 'Those guys are able to slow me down, and they have Sae and Keith, who can somehow view the field better than I can. The question is how.'

Data began to flow from the field into his mind.

Ryu: 'I have to observe them the best I can.'

Azure: Ry, your head isn't about to explode from all the thinking you're doing right now is it?

Ryu hearing this deadpanned.

Ryu: How could it? Because of specialized training Ego put me through...

Ryu thought back to quite some time prior, as Ego fired questions about football left and right, while also forcing him to try and guess the movement of players on the field.

Ryu: -_- Something like this is nothing to me.

Isagi: Good, cause we still have your secret weapon.

Ryu: So, how about we show them one of the best Chemical reactions we've made so far?

Nagi: Really?

Ryu: Yup. By the way, don't you think power type defenders like the one guarding you are so simple?

Nagi: O_O?

Soon enough once they got back into position, they kicked off the ball. This time the one to start with it was Azure.

Azure: 'This is what we'll do.'

Azure went forward, as much like they all expected, they all were marked by defenders from the start. Neru came in to guard, not phasing the teen at all,

Azure: Let me guess, you're a speed type defender?

Neru: Yup! How'd you guess?

Azure: I noticed how fast you were able to get to Ryu.

Azure pulled off a drag scissor, getting the ball to his right.

Neru: Oh. Here?

Quickly, Neru went to mark Azure once again.

Azure: No actually.

Much to the defenders shock, Azure pulled off a reverse Elastico right after, completely shaking off Neru.

Azure: There.

Neru nearly fell down from the two high level moves, giving Azure enough time to get distance, and kick the ball over to Nagi.

Nagi: Nice Azure.

Niou: OH NO YOU DON'T GOD TRAPPER!!!

Niou blocked Nagi's route to the goal.

Nagi: Ryu's right, power types like you ARE predictable.

Niou: WHAT?!

With his first touch, Nagi passed the ball to Isagi. Darai immediately got on him, ready to stop any move he made.

Darai: It smells. No move you make will be able to get past me, Yoichi Isagi.

Isagi: Please, if you haven't noticed-

Isagi kicked the ball to the side, with Rin getting it, shocking Darai.

Isagi: We're all making moves together!

Once getting the ball, Rin could see a clear view of a goal.

Rin: 'This point is mine!

Sae: 'They're passing around, and have moved closer to the goal with each move. Not bad... Oh well.'

Once Rin kicked the ball, he found his shot being blocked by a sliding Keith.

Isagi: 'Crazy!!'

Keith: Nope.

Rin: Tch!!

As the ball bounced back, one person was there to get it.

Ryu: 'Didn't plan for that did you?'

Keith was surprised seeing this, as Ryu prepared to kick.

Ryu: 'TAKE A LOOK WORLD!!!'

Aiku and Hayate looked to get in the way of Ryu's shot path, however weren't ready for the speed of Ryu's Dragon Strike, allowing a goal to be scored.

Score: 1-1

Even Sae and Keith were stunned by this, as after a moment of silence, the crowd began to cheer wildly.

Announcer1: UNBELIEVABLE!!! RYU KAIZEN HAS SCORED AN UNBEARABLE GOAL THAT NO ONE FROM THE U-20 TEAM WAS PREPARED FOR!!! THIS TIES UP THE SCORE!!!!

Aiku: So this is Blue Lock. If you get drawn in... It's Destructive indeed.

Announcer2: I've seen the young man play in before, and I'm pretty sure that this is the first Goal he's scored in an official match!! Did Project Blue Lock actually turn him into such a threat of a Striker?!!!

Announcer1: With this, we'll no longer be able to tell who are the protagonists of this match!!!

Ryu turned around, looking at Keith.

Ryu: 'You're definitely great, but I've faced players that make you look only good.'

He smirked, before pointing his thumb down.

Ryu: 'I'll surpass you in no time, Keith Toshiki.'

Chigiri: RYU!!!

Snapping out of his moment, Ryu turned around, before being toppled over by Nagi, Chigiri, and Isagi.

Ryu: OOOF!!!

Isagi: 'We can do it! It's working!! Blue Lock can reach the world!!'

Gagamaru: Noice.

Rin: Hmph...

Bachira: This is just the beginning!

Karasu: Ha. Freakin showoff.

Isagi: You were right!! That attack really worked out!!

Ryu pushed all the players off, getting up.

Ryu: Well, I just kinda made use of all of you like Ego said. I'm the gun, and you guys are my ammo. I knew Azure wasn't gonna get caught off by that Neru guy's defense, and I had a feeling Nagi knew what I meant about power types. I knew Rin was gonna take the shot himself, but I was betting on that monster Keith being able to read almost everything, and react.

Keith: Now I get you. I couldn't have stopped that shot if I was in any of their shoes. No one could if they didn't know it was coming.

Azure: I think that's what makes this chemical reaction work best. Great cooperation, but at any moment we can end up trying to devour each other's plays.

Ryu: Yup, but let's get back on defense.

The game restarted, as this time Keith started with the ball.

Keith: I'll admit, you've peaked my interest Kaizen.

Ryu: I'd be lying if I said you weren't already one of my main focuses, Toshiki.

Keith simply smirked, before doing scissor steps at a pace even Ryu couldn't keep track of completely. And with that, Keith managed to nutmeg him.

Isagi: 'Holy shit! That guy was actually able to Nutmeg RYU of all people?!'

Ryu: 'It's not just insane shooting, this guy might be the fastest dribbler I've ever met!!'

Ryu quickly turned around, using his explosive acceleration to get back to defending.

Keith: Not bad, but you aren't gonna get the ball from me like that.

Keith put a hand on Ryu, before turning to get behind him.

Ryu: 'So he uses his limbs like Karasu too?! And he's deceptively strong too!'

Keith kicked the ball over to Sae. Immediately Rin went to guard him.

Rin: Hey now. It's been 30 minutes since the game started. You're not even gonna say hello when it's been so long? Shitty Bro.

Sae didn't respond at all.

Rin: This game isn't for you. It's a game for me to surpass you.

The crowd cheered, as Sae began to do hyper speed scissors, before moving to the right. Rin reacted, going to steal the ball, but as soon as he did, Sae moved the ball once again. Having time to react though, Rin went to get the ball, getting slightly more physical, with Sae having to shoulder block Rin to stop his tackle.

Isagi: Rin, I'll back you up!!

Rin: DON'T GET IN THE WAY ISAGI!! YOU ALL JUST STAY OUT OF THIS! This is a fight between brothers!!

Bachira: Ha, a sibling fight at a place like this?

Niou: At a goddamn National match?!

Ryu: If that's not the dumbest thing I've heard today!

Sae did a Marseille Turn to try and shake Rin, who was still able to catch up and defend. Ryu while still trying to keep and eye on Keith watched this.

Ryu: 'Hold on, a few times with both of them...'

Sae: So long as you're still hung up on being my brother...

Sae did a Cross Elastico to Nutmeg Rin.

Sae: You'll never be able to surpass me.

???: If you think I'd leave defending an open space against you to RIN...

Azure leaped in, stopping Sae from getting closer.

Azure: You're all fucking idiots.

Sae didn't seem surprised at all, which didn't go unnoticed by Ryu as well. He looked at Keith, seeing that he was also unfazed.

Ryu: 'You mean neither of them are surprised Azure was able to get there? When could they have used that sight?'

Azure was now the one marking Sae, as the Midfielder tried to get past him, but found it difficult.

Azure: 'Shit, Sae's definitely not making defending him easy, but I can barely keep him there.'

Keith: 'I guess I'll have to participate a bit too.'

Keith sighed, before his eyes glowed yellow. At that moment, when Ryu took his eyes off of him, he had completely vanished.

Ryu: 'There's no way!!'

Isagi: 'He's got nutty off the ball movements too?!!'

Keith ran forward, seeing Niko there.

Keith: 'Ha. You wanna dance little boy? Fine then.'

Keith looked at Sae, and with confirmation, he passed the ball high.

Keith: 'Try to stop something you can't reach.'

Keith jumped, before trapping the ball with his shoulder.

Niko: 'Crud, there's no way I can match a guy that's 6'3 in arial combat!'

While he was falling down, Keith kicked the ball up into the air once again. This time confusing Niko, he turned, before flipping into the air, and pulling off a bicycle kick.

Niko: 'You gotta be kidding me!!'

Isagi: 'It's unreal. The way he blocks off the ball with his arms, Off the Ball Movements that don't make a sound, Dribbling that can crush an opponent alone, his crazy Physical Specs, insane Soccer IQ, and that unrivaled Shooting Ability...'

Keith scored a goal, with the crowd roaring.

Score: 2-1 Japan U-20

Azure: 'Are you kidding?! This guy's a fucking cheat code!! He's got the best aspects from Blue Lock's Top Six Players!'

Keith landed in his feet, looking at Niko.

Keith: Don't try to burn out too much. You've got some good eyes, but I'd say mine are a lot better.

Ryu: 'That's all great... But it's not the thing that's pushing him ahead of us... It's the very way he uses all of those weapons...'

At that moment, Ryu seemed to realize something.

Karasu: Argh, how could ya lose him just like that ya idiot?!

Karasu looked at Ryu, seeing him looking at Sae and Keith once again.

Karasu: ... Hello? Anybody in there?

Ryu: ... Man, and here I thought I had gotten this skill down pact.

Ryu looked up, with his pupils being slitted yet again.

Ryu: I think I know how I'm gonna be the best now.

Karasu was mildly intimidated, not expecting to see the look Ryu had. However soon remembering that they were in the same team, he smirked.

Karasu: Man, am I glad you're on our side.

Ryu walked to the center of the field.

Ryu: 'The reason those two are able to read the field so much better isn't because they have better vision than I do at my best. At least that I know of.'

Data began to enter Ryu's mind.

Ryu: 'It's because they're not using it in burst. Those two constantly gather information from the field, and it continuously updates. The reason why I couldn't keep up was because the information they had was more up to date. They're using this... Metavision to it's best.'

Azure: Hey, you good dude?

Ryu: Better than that.

Ryu looked ahead, not bothering to look at Azure just yet.

Ryu: I just found my code for a new evolution.

Ryu kicked the ball to Azure, before running forward.

Ryu: 'Compared to what I've seen so far, they've been looking down on this whole field like gods from above.'

Ryu began to look around, as his perspective seemingly started to change.

Ryu: 'Well, it's time to see if my genius is enough to pry my way into that realm!!'

He began to turn his head in different directions rapidly.

Ryu: 'I need to use my peripheral vision to analyze every single player on the field! With the speed I move at making most players seem slow, and Ego's mental training... I can take in even more information!!'

Data began to rise from the pitch, as Ryu began to see things clearly.

Ryu: 'They're wary of mine and Keith's movements most of all. Sae's taking in information, and no one suspects a thing from me yet. However I've yet to see a breach. It gives me time to enjoy it though...'

Ryu could see everything in a crystal clear view.

Ryu: 'I've never been able to understand so much. Accurately. Continuously. This is something that I can so easily get lost in.'

After another second, he saw an open area.

Ryu: 'If I had to bet, either Keith or Sae see this spot!!'

Ryu began to run, with Sae looking to stop him. That's when quickly, Ryu maneuvered around Sae with quickness.

Sae: 'Huh?'

Ryu: 'The spot you leave will be my chance!!' AZURE, OVER HERE!!!

Azure: I don't know what's gotten into you, but I like it!!

Azure made a long pass to Ryu, who jumped to trap the ball. Once he landed, Keith was right on him. But once again shocking those watching, Ryu did scissor steps, before passing Keith with a Roulette Turn.

Keith: No way...

Chigiri: 'What's happened to him?'

Bachira: 'This is completely new from Ryu... But at the same time it feels like he's done this before.'

Azure: ...

Azure immediately began to run, with Ryu picking up on this instantly.

Ryu: 'Don't waste too much time looking at the ball. Find the time to make better plays. And I can't just improve myself only...'

Ryu kicked the ball, making a pass across the field. The ball was sent right to Azure.

Ryu: 'I know your impatient ass is starving Azure.'

Azure licked his lips as the ball dropped to his feet.

Azure: 'I won't let you be the only one to evolve Ryu.'

A fire lit within Azure, as Aiku had ran in to prevent a shot.

Aiku: 'I've seen plenty of you matches Azure Kaito. You dominant leg is your right, so I'll just completely kill the chances of you getting a shot form there!'

Azure: So, this the play you envisioned?

Without hesitation, Azure kicked the ball with his left foot, with a fast shot getting off with no problem.

Aiku: 'THE FUCK?!!'

Azure: Wrong, Serpent Captain. My left is more than enough for you.

The ball curved into the top left corner of the goal, with Azure scoring a point.

Score: 2-2

Aiku was shocked, before smiling.

Aiku: Looks like Japanese soccer has finally got some new genes in the mix.

Announcer: 40 MINUTES INTO THE FIRST HALF, AND WITH RYU KAIZEN'S ASSIST AND AZURE KAITO'S GOAL, THEY'VE TIED UP THE GAME!!!!

Isagi: AZURE!!!

Isagi jumped and put Azure in a headlock.

Isagi: Who are you, Noel Noa?! That lefty shot was insane!!

Azure: Thanks, but the one who made it possible was...

Everyone looked at Ryu, who was down the field, wiping sweat off of his mouth.

Azure: The guy who's evolution triggered me to start trying harder too.

Karasu: Scary ain't it?

Azure: More like aggravating, and joyous too, but yeah.

Keith: 'The first half isn't even done, but somehow, this guy...'

Keith began to chuckle, confusing Ryu.

Keith: I'm impressed Striker. You entered mine and Sae's realm so fast...

Ryu saw Keith with a wide eyed smirk.

Keith: But now I'm gonna have to go after you twice as hard. Entertain me for the rest of this game, Ryu!
