"I'm so sorry. I'm so, so sorry."

"Yeonjun this isn't your fault."

"But it is! I...they would be okay if I had just..."

Yeonjun was talking to Seventeen's leader, S.Coups.

"Look, they will be okay. They were hurt, so I understand you being scared, but this was not your fault."

"Then what happened? How did they crash?"

"It was the car. Somehow the ai system got hacked, car lost control. You're lucky you stopped your car when you did. You guys probably wouldn't have survived that impact."

Yeonjun hugged him.

"I wish you all the best. And a speedy recovery for your members."

"Thank you Yeonjun. Be careful out there, and check your car. If they got hacked, it could happen to anyone."

"Right. Thank you."

Yeonjun was about to walk away, but turned back to S.Coups.

"Hyung?"

"Yes?"

"Have you ever had a dream so real...that you could feel it?"

"Plenty of times."

"Have those dreams ever come true."

"They always do. I have tried to avoid them. But there is one thing my mother told me that I think about."

"What is it?"

"No matter how much we try to forget our bad dreams, we will always see the worst reality."

"What does that mean?"

"It means that dreams can be just that, imagination. Or in the worst case, they can be a sign."

"And if they're a sign, but you are able to avoid it, does it go away?"

"Why are you asking?"

"I had a nightmare, about tonight. But...they hit our car instead."

"That's why I'm telling you to be careful. Maybe that was a sign."

"Yeah...and thank you again."

Yeonjun walked away, going to Beomgyu in the lobby.

"How are they?", Beomgyu asked.

"Joshua and Vernon are okay. They'll be here a while though."

"Alright. As long as they're okay."

Yeonjun stared at Beomgyu.

"Let's go home.", Beomgyu said.

They exited the hospital.

Once they got back into the car, Yeonjun was careful to buckle up.

He pulled off.

They listened to music on the way home, to calm Yeonjun's nerves.

But it didn't work.

His feeling didn't go away. Not once.

They followed the same path back home.

Passing by the same buildings.

The same streets.

"It's pretty quiet out.", Beomgyu said.

"Yeah."

They came to a stoplight.

The car was silent.

The light turned green, and Yeonjun started to drive forward.

"Hyung! Stop!"

"Wh-"

The car was hit with a resounding force, causing it to flip, and slide quite a few yards, over to the other side of the road.

The car landed upright, sitting still in its place.

Yeonjun lifted his head up from having hit the steering wheel. He was still buckled in.

"Ah shit...", he said, looking around.

His eyes landed on Beomgyu.

He was laying against the dashboard. His seatbelt was ripped, almost like it had been cut.

All Yeonjun could do was stare, almost like he was unable to move from his spot.

He put his hand on Beomgyu, who didn't move.

"Baby?"

Kai was jumping up and down, dancing to the music on his show.

Soobin watched with admiration, taking videos to send to the group chat.

It was almost 12am now, and they were the only ones home. Taehyun hadn't come back from his walk, they didn't know where he was, but trusted that he was safe.

As for Yeonjun and Beomgyu, they hadn't heard from them.

Soobin's phone rang, and he picked it up.

"Hello, you've reached Soobin."

"Soobin hyung. Are you at home?", Taehyun asked.

"Yea, Kai and I are still here."

"Um...something happened."

"What? What happened?"

"I just got a call from Yeonjun hyung. They...crashed the car."

"Oh my god! Are they okay?!"

Kai stopped dancing, turning around.

"Yeonjun is fine. He's being talked to by the police."

"Okay. Good. But...wait...what about Beomgyu?"

"Yeonjun didn't tell me anything."

"Shit, okay, uh, we're on the way."

"See you soon."

Soobin hung up.

"Kai, get your shoes on baby. We need to go."

"Where we go hyung?"

"It's an emergency. Just put on your shoes and let's go."

Kai quickly put on his shoes, and so did Soobin.

The pair ran from the house, getting into Soobin's car, which they rarely used.

Soobin drove off as quickly (but safely) as he could, headed towards the hospital.

Yeonjun sat in the lobby. A different hospital from earlier that night.

He had a blank expression, but yet one anyone could tell was full of sadness.

Taehyun and Chin-Hae sat next to him, trying to comfort him.

"It's alright Yeonjun hyung, you both survived.", Taehyun said.

"What if he doesn't wake up?", Yeonjun asked.

Taehyun didn't know how to respond.

The doctors said they had no way of determining when Beomgyu would wake up, if he ever did.

The best they could do was hope.

Soobin and Kai rushed into the door, seeing the others and going to them.

"We got here as quick as possible. How is Beomgyu?", Soobin asked.

"Coma. Doctors don't know if he'll wake up.", Taehyun responded.

Soobin looked at Yeonjun.

The older male looked at him too.

"Yeonjun, what happened?"

"Cops said the other driver was heavily intoxicated. He ran a red light, crashed into us."

"Damn...I'm sorry you had to go through that. Is that guy facing charges?"

"He's dead."

Soobin and Kai sat down.

"It's my fault. I couldn't go one night without a drink. One night. Just one. Why am I like this? I promised him. I looked him in the eyes and i promised him I would stop!"

Soobin hugged his now crying friend.

"Why didn't I stop?! Why?!"

"Yeonjun, it is okay. Yes, you may have drank tonight, but this accident was not your fault."

"Neither was Joshua and Vernon's accident.", Taehyun added.

"Then why do I feel this much pain? Why do I have this deep feeling of sadness?"

"I don't know. But we will get through this.", Soobin replied.

"How?"

"We have the best morality booster in the world. Hueningkai."

Everyone turned to Kai, who was talking to the receptionist after sneaking off.

"I like you hair.", Kai said.

"Well thank you. I like yours."

"Hehe, my hyung did hair for me!"

"And he did a great job."

Yeonjun got up, walking to Kai.

The maknae felt someone hug him, and saw Yeonjun in the reflection of the glass.

"What doing hyung?"

"I just need a maknae hug."

"Okie!"

"Never stop being this cute Kai."
