Grian shot awake gasping and, before he could do anything else, he fell off his bed.
He looked at the rest of his room while breathing heavily.
'this is new, I thought that having the Watchers haunting my dreams was enough but apparently I was wrong' he thought
He got up and looked at Taurtis, who was still sleeping. 'Lucky he, I can't remember the last time I slept without having magical people visit me in my dreams!'
He then noticed how his friend's clothes were still torn and had an idea.
He quickly walked into the main room and started looking through the many chests. 'Come on! It must be here somewhere!' he thought as he kept on searching frantically through the chests.
'its probably over the-' his trail of thoughts stopped when he heard a creeper hissing from right behind him.
He jumped up screetching and closed his eyes, ready to be blown away... after a couple of seconds though, he realized that wasn't going to happen.
He slowly opened his eyes expecting to see a creeper but was met with a much smaller and feathery mob.
"Oh for Goodness' sake, you scared me Mr Beak!" Grian exclaimed while his parrot simply landed in front of him and started readjusting his feathers.
"Didn't we have a talk about how mean it is to startle other people by making them believe there's a creeper behind them?!" Grian asked with an inquisitory tone but Mr Beak didn't really seem moved by it.
"Whathever, I have a little favor to ask you... If you do it correctly I might even give you a full piece of bread." Grian said as his parrot turned towards him, now giving him full attention.
"I need you to go wake Taurtis up, can you do that for me?" Mr Beak simply chirped happily and flew towards the room where the player was still sleeping.
"I'll take that as a yes!" Grian laughed.
The avian then went back to look through his chests 'aww, did I really throw it away? Well, I didn't have an actual reason to keep it anyway but- Oh there it is!' He thought as he pulled a blue t-shirt out.
Grian quickly took the rest of the outfit out. It looked exactly like Taurtis'. He had used it in the past with a... Friend of his.
The gremlin shook his head not wanting to be overwhelmed with old memories and walked towards another chest to grab a piece of bread for his parrot.
'Alright, this should be everything I need, now it's time to go see if Taurtis is-'
"GET AWAY FROM ME, YOU FEATHERY DEMON"
... awake' Grian chuckled before heading to the room his friend was currently in.
Taurtis was frantically swinging his arms around while Mr Beak just kept on flying around him.
The moment he saw that scene, Grian bursted out laughing.
"Don't just stand there! Help me!" Taurtis exclaimed, both imbarassed and scared of the situation he was in.
"Great job Mr Beak, you can come get you price now" Grian said when he finally managed to hold back his laughter.
He offered the piece of bread to Mr Beak, who just picked it up with his claws and flew away, probably looking for a quiet place to eat in piece.
"Wait you actually told it to wake me up?! You're a monster!" Taurtis exclaimed as he brushed himself off.
"Good morning to you too." Grian chuckled. "Look what I found!" He added while placing the outfit on Taurtis' bed.
"Wait is that an exact replica of my normal clothes?" Taurtis asked surprised.
"High school." Grian simply replied before walking off. "Oh yeah, high school." Taurtis repeated.
'ok so, if I want to create that portal I must find those old magic books, which is easier said than done.' Grian sighed as he looked at the mess he created while looking for his Taurtis outfit.
Luckily, it didn't take him long to find some of the books he was looking for and he started to read them while munching on a golden carrot.
"I feel like I was born again." Taurtis joked as he stepped into the room. "Hey Grian, you don't happen to have something to eat, do you? I'm starving!"
"I have some golden carrots if you want." Grian responded as he handed one over to his friend.
"A carrot... Made of gold?!" Taurtis asked with an uncertain tone. "I know it sounds weird at first but trust me, they're actually pretty good... also that's pretty much the only thing we eat here anyways so if you don't want to starve you should at least try it." Grian chucked.
"Fine! Just remember that if I choke on it it's completely your fault." The raven-haired boy complained but Grian simply rolled his eyes. "You're going to like it!"
Taurtis looked at the carrot before actually taking a bit out of it.
"H-hey, you weren't lying! This is actually pretty good!" He exclaimed as he quickly ate the rest of it.
"See? I told you!" Grian laughed as he took another bite out of his own carrot.
"So... What are you looking at?" Taurtis asked as he looked over Grian's shoulder, still munching over the golden carrot.
"It's a book about teleportation. I need to make a portal so it's probably the best place to look for the right spell." The blond replied as he turned a page.
"Speaking of magic... Are you supposed to be a Watcher now? I told you what happened to me during the past two years but I still don't know what happened to you."
Grian's body tensed: he was taken aback by the sudden question. Why would Taurtis ask him if he was a Watcher? If he replied with a yes would his friend try to avoid him?
Taurtis noticed Grian's reaction to his question and tried to change the subject. "It's alright if you don't want to answer, maybe we should- "They tried to brainwash me into believing that what they did was right but they never succeed. They gave me the power to become one of them but I want nothing to do with the Watchers." Grian answered coldly, without looking away from his book.
Taurtis was surprised by the venom in his friend's voice but understood that it was probably a touchy subject Grian didn't want to talk much about.
An awkward silence fell on the duo, the only other sounds that were hearable were the rustling of leaves coming from outside and the sound of the pages from Grian's book turning.
Just as Taurtis was about to say something in a desperate attempt to start a conversation tough, the two boys were startled by the sound of rockets going off.
"Those must be Mumbo and the others." Grian suddenly said while closing his book. He was smiling as if nothing had happened.
"Hey everybody!" Grian waved as Taurtis and he stepped outside.
"Good morning!" Shouted Stress as she landed, Mumbo and Iskall arriving close behind her. "Ready for your personal tour?" She asked Taurtis
"Yes I am! Where are we starting?" The raven haired boy asked enthusiastically.
"We were thinking about showing you the Cowmercial district, it's a bit far away but if we fly through the Nether is shouldn't take long." Iskall responded.
"Hold on, you want to make him FLY through the Nether? There's no way he'll make it, I don't even think he ever used an elytra before and I refuse to make another replica of his outfit to fix him up afterwards!" Grian exclaimed.
"Speaking of that G, when did you find the time to sew his clothes?" Mumbo asked, fearing that his friend was once again overworking himself. (Mumbo has read some fanfics, EVERYBODY RUN)
"It's a long story." He replied. "A long story that doesn't have anything to do with bunnies, knifes and Doritos." Taurtis added. "Yep, it's better if you don't ask."
"O-okay...?" Mumbo was a bit confused but decided to pass it as Grian being Grian.
"But flying all the way to the Cowmercial will take forever! Isn't there another way?" Iskall complained.
Grian looked at his surroundings to see if he could get any ideas when suddenly he laid eyes upon the book he was still holding.
"What if I teleported you?" The blond asked.
"By making us eat Scar's weird magical fruits? No thank you, I don't really trust them that much." Iskall responded.
"Not with the wizard fruits, I can teleport you using my magic!" Grian exclaimed.
"You can do that?! Since when?!" Mumbo exclaimed.
"Since the day I stepped into Hermitcraft, I never used it before because I always thought it was a bit OP and I just wanted to play with you guys like a normal player. I might be a bit rusty but I should be able to do that." He responded as he started to scroll through the pages of his book.
"Hold on love, what do you mean by 'I might be a bit rusty'? Is there any risk?" Stress asked, a bit scared for her friend's safety and hers.
"Nah! There worst that could happen would be that you either got teleported in the void and died with a slow and painful death or that your data got permanently cancelled. Nothing to worry about!" Grian responded as he placed down the book and his hands started to emit a purple light.
"WAIT WHAT?!" All the players exclaimed.
"Don't worry, you're completely safe!" The blond chuckled.
"No we clearly aren't! Grian stop!" Taurtis exclaimed.
"Have a nice tour~" the avian laughed as a wave of purple sparkles surrounded the players, making them disappear.
"I don't see any death massage so I can safely assume it was a success, good job Grian!" The blond smiled as he dusted himself off and picked his book up.
"Well, time to lock myself up in my base and be antisocial until I figure out a way to get back to Evo." He shrugged as he walked back inside his base.

The four players materialized in front of the town hall, a couple of blocks from the ground, and fell down.
"Ouch" Iskall commented as he rubbed his head. "Well, at least none of us died."
"You know, I'm pretty sure he was just saying that to mess with us." Stress chuckled.
"Either way, I hate it when he does it." Mumbo added as he dusted himself off.
"So... Where should we begin?" Stress asked Taurtis.
"How about from here?" Taurtis suggested while pointing at the town hall.
"Alright then, this is the town hall, it contains the diamond throne which is where the mayor of the shopping district sits." Mumbo explained (as you can probably guess I wasn't really sure of what to write here TwT)
"Wait you guys have a mayor too?" Taurtis laughed.
"Did you have one in Evo?" Stress asked.
"Yep, the other Evolutionists made an election and Grian added me as a candidate without me knowing." Taurtis explained.
"Wait really?! He did the exact same thing to me!" Mumbo exclaimed.
"I guess it's something he does to all of his best friends, if that's actually the case I'll be very offended if he doesn't help me campaigning in Season 8." Iskall joked.
Stress laughed but Taurtis and Mumbo stared blankly at each other.
"So... Did your campaign go well?" Taurtis asked with a slightly challenging tone.
"Well I didn't get a single vote but-"
"Wait you actually got zero votes? Not even Grian voted for you?! I know the only reason I won the Evo election is because all of the other candidates were disqualified but at least Grian actually voted for me!"
"What are you implying?"
"I'm not saying that your campaign was bad... Although it probably was since you lost... Just that Grian probably didn't trust you as much as he trusted me to run a section of the server..."
"Are you saying that Grian likes you more because he's known you for more time?! That's stupid! It's like implying that he prefers the Watchers over me because he's known them the longest!"
"No it's not, I'm just saying that since we've been friends for more time he has a better reason to trust me! After all, in Evo he played lots of pranks on me and I doubt-"
"You do know you're not the only person Grian has ever pranked, right? Last season he would play tricks on me everytime I went AFK!"
"He plays little tricks on anyone! Ones he literally built a giant dungeon just to prank me!"
"Oh yeah? Well he..."

"Hey Stress, they've been arguing for a while, when do you think they will stop?" Iskall whispered to the girl as the two watched the scene unfold
"Unfortunately, not anytime soon love" Stress sighed.
"What do you think would happen if we gave them sticks with a knockback enchantment on?" The Swede asked as an evil grin appeared on his face.
"Pfff, I know I'm supposed to be the responsible one here but I'm actually really interested!" Stress laughed.
"Let's go see if we can find two knockbacks at Keralis' library." She then added as she started walking towards said shop.
Iskall took a step to follow her but stopped when he felt a cold shiver running down his spine.
He quickly looked at his surroundings a bit stunned but couldn't see anything weird aside from the two full grown man arguing about how many times they got pranked by a magical gnome.
'That was weird.' The Swede thought. 'For a second I felt like I was being watched'
"Ehm... Iskall? Are you coming?" Stress called.
"What- oh yes, right behind you!" He responded as he ran up to his friend.
For some reason Iskall felt like something bad was about to happen...
