Devasena meets Kattappa to catch up on Ammu's tales. She leans back on the sofa with one hand behind to support her and other hand rubbing her belly as Kattappa begins his narration.

Sivagami in a meeting with the ministers,

"Rajamatha, it is time either of the prince ascend the throne and rule Mahishmati."

Si: You are right Mantri but I am confused on whom I should crown as both of them are eligible.

"Rajamatha, I have a suggestion. Why not keep a set of tests for the princes and whoever clears through all successfully be crowned the King ?"

Si: Yes. That would be appropriate. Dhandanayaka, summon Bhalla and Baahu.

Sivagami explains the rules and the tests to be conducted to both her sons. However both of them excelled  equally in all the tests thus giving a tough time to Sivagami to decide. Then is when they get the news of Sakethudu sharing their war secrets with Kalakeyas. After annihilating the Kalakeyas and Baahu is chosen as the King, life returns to normal in Mahishmathi. One day when Sivagami inspects the treasuries with her ministers she hears laughter and giggles of Baahu. Curious she steps out to see him playing blind man's buff with the girls. His eyes blindfolded, he moves his hands in the air trying to catch them but the mischievous girls use this as a chance to touch him playfully.

A: Hey girls ! I am the one who should catch you all.. oh no... pls.. pls...don't touch me if Amma sees she will get angry... yaaayyy I caught you ! Now it is your turn!

Sivagami smiles at the scene and it dawns upon her that her baby is no more a baby and calls her minister to her side.

Si: Begin the search for a bride for my Baahu. Send the word to the all the Kingdoms in alliance with Mahishmati. I will only select the girl for him.

The search for Ammu's bride begins. When the news reach Bijjala and Bhalla,

Bi: See your mother's partiality ! You are the eldest son, instead of getting you married first she wants to get that fella settled.

Bhalla with an evil smirk on his face and tracing his palm over a painting of the royal crown,

Bh: I am married nanna..

Bi: Huh ??

Bh: Married to the throne of Mahishmati. All I need now is to live with her. 😈

Sivagami sees numerous proposals for Ammu but none impressed her. She sends him on a tour and assures that she would find a princess for him by the time he returned. Ammu and Kattappa leave Mahishmati. They halt at a place for the night.

Ka: Baahu, Rajamatha said she would find a bride for you. You just smiled then. Don't you want to choose your bride ??

A: Amma knows what is best for me. I trust her.

Ka: But still.. you would have some expectations right ?

A: Expectations... mmm...aahhh.. you know the doll I used to hold when I was a baby ? Like that. Such intense eyes it had.

Ka: Baahhh eyes ah ?

A: Don't underestimate eyes mama those are windows to the soul, if I see her eyes I'll be able to tell if she's the one for me.

Ka: Oh whatever...sleep tomorrow we have to go to Kunthala.

A:(Staring at the ceiling of the hut) Kunthalaa....

The next day they reach Kunthala and Ammu sees Devu's eyes first and falls in love with her. After fighting the pindaris, Devasena takes Ammu and Kattappa to her palace. Kattappa sees Ammu daydreaming.

Ka: So what about Ileana, Shreya, Kajal...

A: They are my friends mama...

Ka: Then yuvarani Devasena ??

A: She's my theee bessshhtttt fraanddd mama...

Ka: Oh decided already ??

A: No... we already have a dozen kids. They are crawling all over you pulling your beard and punching your nose while we both laugh at your struggle !

Ka: Haiyyoo not even one hour since he saw her first he's made a dozen babies already and made me their punching bag ! Save me devudaa!

D: 😂😂😂😂

Ka: And the rest you know talli....

Devuu smiles nodding her head.

D: Thank you Kattappa.. actually those words are less.

D: Not only that but for being there for my Ammu. He didn't miss a father's love and care because of you.

Kattappa's thoughts dart back to the fateful day he backstabbed Ammu and his eyes get teary. Devuu too becomes sombre when they hear Mahe's voice.

Ka: Talli, I'll take leave..

D: Ok Kattappa.

Devasena struggles to get up and Mahendra immediately rushes to her side and helps her. She holds on to his shoulder and he supports her by her waist.

He walks her to the room and settles her before leaving.

Mahendra is atop a mango tree plucking unripe mangoes and throwing them down.

M: Hold the sack properly thathaa..

Ka: You throw ra... I'll catch it.

M:Hmm... I am probably the only son who is also plucking mangoes for his expectant mother when I should be doing it for my wife. As for nanna from the time I saw him he is sticking to my Amma like a leech.Thatha tell me, was he always like this ??

Ka: Yes ra... he is fine usually but when around your amma he goes berserk and becomes a puppy who found a bone. He even forgot me who raised him the first time he saw her.

They carry the sacks to the palace.Devu and Avanti are relaxing on the sofa rubbing their humongous bellies. Ammu is massaging his wife's tired feet. Mahe passes the sack of mangoes to his mother and sits next to Avanti.

A: So much ?? Keep some for my dil also.

Ammu picks a good one and wiping it clean on his vastra he passes it to Devu.

M: I have got her as well nanna.Here Avanti..

Ammu munches on one himself much to his son's chagrin.

M: Orei nanna! I got it for them you are chewing it as if your mouth is bitter.

A: It's ok ra... because of me only no.. so I can also eat what Devu ??

D: ☺️☺️

M: Ohh whatever. Ok, you are the King right? But I see you roaming with amma more than ministers is this how you rule the country ??

A: That...mmm... country I can also rule later but who is there to take care of my Devu apart from me ?? Mahishmati or Devasena it's always her for me. Right Devu ??

D: Yes Mahe. He chose me over the throne, even before he saw me when he a picked a doll from Kunthala during his Annaprasannam.

Ammu blushes and caresses her sole and she flinches eyeing him to behave infront of kids but Ammu wears an unfazed look on his face and continues rubbing her legs and hands in the name of massage. Mahe catches his nanna in the act and looks around picking a cushion he throws it at Ammu.

A: Hey why did you do that ra ??

M: Neeyabba ! Won't you change ??Won't you ever change ?? She is pregnant atleast give her a break now! Always falling, leaning or rubbing her...

Av: Sivu, our baby is kicking..

D: Where ?? Let me also feel !!

He tries to crawl over to their side when an irked Mahe picks mangoes and hurls it at him.

A: Aahhh Devuu Mahe is throwing mangoes at me !! Save me !!

M: Keep quiet and sit quietly there don't cross the border ! This is my area!

Ammu's face falls in disappointment and tugs Devu's s pallu calling her for support.

D: Aaawww it's ok Ammu... kanna, don't be harsh to your nanna see he felt bad.

M: He is not feeling bad for being harsh but because I didn't let him feel.His baby kicks also he jumps, my baby kicks also he jumps. What will people think ??

D: He love babies so much ra that's why.

A: Yes Mahe. When Amma was pregnant with you, you used to kick a lot but the moment I placed my hands on her belly you went silent I used to feel hopeless I could never feel you except once but that also for a short while only... so nice no when baby kicks.

M: Oho in that case our cook is also expecting..

Mahe smacks his forehead. Devuu and Avanti burst into bouts of laughter but Ammu looks at them with a face oozing with innocence.

He becomes solemn as he is not able to feel baby kicks when his son is happily enjoying his dad moment. As if his child understood his/her nanna's plight he/she kicks hard.

D: Ouch !! Ammu !!

She grasps his shoulder.

A: What happened Devuu?? Are you ok ?? Should I call the physician ??

She shakes her head and takes his hands placing it on her belly.

D: Felt that ??

Ammu is overwhelmed with emotions and his eyes moisten.

Av: Now mavayya will take out his 'pee pee'..
