Sophie woke up to lots of people calling her name. Her eyes fluttered open but she shut them quickly. When she opened them again she saw six people standing above her.

"She's awake"

The one to the very far right called out. When her eyes adjusted Elwin, Mr.Forkle, Fitz, Grady, Edaline, and Keefe were standing over her. The stabbing pain in her head came back but she still sat up. When she looked at everyone she realized that everyone had been crying.

"What happened?"

Sophie said looking Keefe in the eyes.

"Sophie..."

Mr.Forkle was the one to speak.

"Maybe we should tell her later so she can properly wake up."

Elwin cut in giving Sophie a bottle of youth.

"Tell me what???"

Sophie said kind of annoyed. She looked around at everyone to see if someone would tell her something but no one did.

"Elwin is right."

She was surprised that it was Edaline that spoke this time. Sophie suddenly got another sharp pain in the head and she started holding her head in her hands.

"I think we need to tell her.. the pain will only get worse the longer we wait."

Mr.Forkle said bring his fingers up to his temples massaging them.

"Miss Foster. Your mind is breaking."

Sophie felt her heart drop to the bottom of her stomach. Mr.Forkle went on

"Your mind can't shatter so we don't know what is go to happen but we have to try and stop it."

"But I'm the only one who can heal minds"

Sophie realized.

"Exactly. You have to try to stop it before it is too late."

Sophie started to panic. What will happen to her?

"I can stay with Sophie if I need to."

Fitz finally said looking Sophie right in her eyes.

"Actually-"

Keefe cut her off

"I'm staying with Sophie right now."

Fitz looked over at Sophie questioningly but Sophie just ignored it.

"Can I go home now?..."

Sophie said feeling a little uncomfortable.

"I suppose that you can you just need rest"

Elwin said helping her up out of bed.

"Thanks Elwin"

Sophie gave him a small smile. Everyone that was going back to Havenfield took each others hands. Grady held up the home crystal but before he could step into the light Fitz asked them a question.

"Can I come home with you guys I have something to ask Sophie"

Fitz said glaring at Keefe.

"Of course you can"

Edaline said with a small smile. Fitz grabbed onto Edaline's other hand as Grady stepped into the light.
